Whats the deal with RDA

I am seeing RDA (Reporting,Data and Analytics) emails all around. Are they planning to consolidate all reporting teams under one leadership?

Will there be reorgs or layoffs due to that? Anyone see it coming soon in few weeks or months or later?

Whenever they bring something new, it is mostly brought as cost effective, consolidation and eventually layoffs.

End of year 60%??

1st three months of year I hit under 60%. One month was very bad due to sickness and school closings due to bad weather, 3 kids out of school for 10 days su-ked. Should I make up extra days to balance out so EOY percent is at the 60% goal? Really starting to stress out about all this. Since the new reporting I have hit goal but will not meet goal for the year if I don't hit above goal the next few months.

SIU, Compliance, and similar departments

Any word on the SIU and similar departments? I was told there would be changes in all departments related to compliance like SIU, etc. my understanding was that there was going to be a reporting structure and work shift because of the people that took the VSP. I haven't heard anything yet for the ones that stayed behind but, has anyone heard anything?

Veeps Lays Off Staff at Music Publications

Veeps, now part of Live Nation, has reportedly laid off nearly all staff at BrooklynVegan, Alternative Press, Revolver, and Goldmine. These music publications, with decades of history, were acquired by Veeps in recent years. The extent of the layoffs appears to be widespread across all affected titles. Representatives for Veeps and Live Nation have not yet commented on the situation. Emails to most BrooklynVegan staffers have bounced back, indicating a significant disruption.

Reporting People Leaders

Has anybody ever reported their PL to ethics or HR? They are giving easier assignments to their friends and I am not meeting metrics. Now have a weekly meeting with them and am sure they are looking to try to fire me to not have to pay severance. Trying to see if anybody has had any experience with escalation.

2nd quarter earnings, two views

I was curious about why the message from Verizon sounded so different from the Wall Street Journal. I asked Google to explain the differences.

"Verizon's official corporate communications emphasize positive operational highlights like subscriber growth and adjusted earnings beats, whereas The Wall Street Journal provides a comprehensive financial evaluation that also factors in declining total revenue and non-operating joint-venture costs.

Verizon's Presentation: Focuses heavily on adjusted metrics, beating subscriber estimates (184,000 net postpaid phone additions), and raised full-year guidance.

The Wall Street Journal's Reporting: Highlights the complete picture, noting that total companywide revenue ticked down slightly year-over-year and quarterly profit was weighed down by significant costs (such as a $746 million loss from a joint venture with BT Group)."

I wonder if the truth lies somewhere between spin A and spin B

Report the Fraudsters

Corporate managers are actively exploiting the immigration system, practicing race and caste discrimination, and displacing qualified U.S. citizens.

Your immediate action is required to stop them.If you witness visa fraud, discriminatory favoritism based on race or caste, or hidden Labor Condition Application (LCA) postings, you have a civic and legal duty to blow the whistle.

Federal agencies rely directly on worker reports to shut down these illegal operations, penalize corrupt management, and enforce fair hiring practices.

Do not remain silent while corporate entities bypass federal law at the expense of American workers.Take action immediately by preserving evidence and filing formal complaints through these critical federal channels:

Document LCA Violations: Take clear photographs of mandatory Labor Condition Application (LCA) postings as physical evidence. Federal law requires these to be conspicuously displayed on corporate notice boards, breakroom bulletin boards, or directly inside manager and contractor rooms.

USCIS Fraud Detection: Submit explicit details of visa manipulation directly via the USCIS Tip Form at uscis.govDepartment of Labor:

File a formal workforce exploitation complaint with the DOL Wage and Hour Division at dol.gov

Civil Rights Violations: Report the displacement of citizen employees, racial bias, or caste discrimination to the DHS Civil Rights Complaint Portal at dhs.gov

EEOC Enforcement: Trigger a formal federal investigation into national origin, race, or caste-based discrimination via the EEOC Public Portal at eeoc.gov

Every Company Has Its Reckoning

There’s a journalist quietly speaking with former Nike employees about their experiences during the John Donahoe era.

If the reporting is thorough, the sources are credible, and the facts can be independently corroborated, it could become a very significant account of that period in the company’s history.

If you spent years feeling ignored, marginalized, or mistreated, consider sharing your experience. Organizational cultures are ultimately defined not by the messaging they produce, but by the experiences of the people who lived them.

Coffee badge reporting

Just like the other poster who reported a coffee badging colleague, I think it’s all our duty to do this. Coffee badging is a business code of conduct violation, as evidenced by the recent Code of Conduct training and the article about being deceptive about working time and location using a mouse jiggler. You can anonymously report the coffee badging activity using the Speak Up or ethics hotline I believe. I haven’t done this since I haven’t seen anyone do it myself in person, but I think that guy who reported his colleague, didn’t do anything wrong. In fact, it is in line with the TIAA code of conduct to report an ethics violation. If HR does anything about it, that’s up to them. But technically it is our duty as employees to report this type of behavior.

RTO Tracker Missing Days

I come into an empty office 10-12 days a month. Why are my days missing? How is this goal bring tracked? Are we going to start tracking all of the “extra hours” I put in at home after being on calls all day.

The wait time for HR is 70 minutes. I am not giving up on this. Someone should have validated this data before publishing.

Dumpster FIRE

P66 is literally a dumpster fire. I am utterly amazed that industry reporting and publications are remaining so silent. It could be that entities or people that stand to lose a lot are pushing the stock price up to get out. Make no mistake, there are significant internal issues and deficiencies that are on borrowed time. The reality I believe exists is that the damage is irreversible. The connection from top to bottom has been severed. There is no longer any trust or pride. It has become a purely transactional relationship between company and employee. One of the greatest petroleum stories ever in American history is on the brink of ending. Bartlesville will never be the same.

UnitedHealth promised transparency. Instead, it’s cutting back key disclosures

Amid financial and reputational turmoil, top executives at UnitedHeath Group have promised to bring more transparency. A new reporting policy from the health care giant is doing the opposite.

This week, UnitedHealth listed just 10 subsidiaries in its annual report, filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission. A year ago, the company disclosed nearly 3,100.

The math ain’t mathing!

Start lighting fires and speak up. We already know they don't care, so throw some gasoline on the fire and start throwing all these do nothing cowards under the bus.

Any idea when the enhanced IOE reporting goes live?

In a January post (https://www.thelayoff.com/t/1kezt9p2t), a couple of folks mentioned enhanced IOE reporting that is coming. “Enhanced” means cross-referencing badge swipes with the laptop connection to the Truist wifi. One of my colleagues who is close to HR confirmed that there is a team dedicated to this activity, but he did not know when it was going to be rolled out to managers. If you’re on the team – or close to someone who is - please let us know when the reporting is scheduled to go live. Reason I’m interested is that my managers are going to be all over this when it happens. They are already hassling people who aren’t hitting the 5-day target. If you miss one day in a given week, you’re getting an email. “You didn’t get manager approval!” So much for flexibility and treating experienced adults like adults

Reporting structure changing for stores

RXM no longer reports to store manager as of March 1.

RXM will report directly to District Pharmacy Supervisor (performance, discipline, and evaluation/coaching all owned by DPS).

Dotted line reporting means the MGR and RXM are "true partners" as explained in documentation released today.

This means neither one is accountable to each other, and neither one has authority to enforce.

Great news for RXMs that didn't want to have an MGR for a boss.

Great news for an MGR that now has documented evidence they are no longer the accountable party for the pharmacy.

Don't be fooled with the 1 box speak, the HR policies regarding organization charts with respect to direct line reporting are very clear.

Store managers you are not in any way shape or form responsible or accountable for the pharmacy any longer.

Pharmacy managers you are in no way shape or form responsible or accountable for what happens on the front end.

Now totally divided.

Revenue growth???

The world has gone simple. Most reporting I have seen today is bought in to the revenue growth narrative. Q4 25 LEX in, Q4 24 LEX out. That is not growth. XRX stand alone has a 9% revenue decline. Would love to see the LEX YOY amounts. We live in a world of twisted truth.

You need to report h1b visa fraud if you see it

If you are still employed here, and not on a Visa, it's probably not for long. You can do something to stop or even reverse it though. Aggressively report any perceived visa abuse below, even if you're not 100% certain. The future of your career literally depends on reporting these people as it's only going to get worse from here

Financial Rewards for SEC Whistleblowers

Did you know the SEC encourages whistleblowing and even incentivizes it?

"The SEC's whistleblower program was established by Congress to incentivize whistleblowers to report specific, timely and credible information about possible federal securities laws violations.

The Commission is authorized to provide monetary awards to eligible individuals who come forward with high-quality original information that leads to an SEC enforcement action in which over $1 million in sanctions is ordered. The range for awards is between 10% and 30% of the money collected."

If you see something, say something.
