I work at a retail store and received an email about ALL retail stores locks being updated and changed, My store among many others have since been removed from that list. Asked our ops people and was told it was due to extra work needing to be done to have locks installed. Email specifically says any stores needing extra work are still on the list but will be delayed. Any one else in retail can go and see the list has been edited down as the total store count seems to be in the 800s. Possible early warning sign for stores. I'm taking it as my store is being affected with whatever is coming....

July 16 has been confirmed as a notification day. GN&T is expected to see significant reductions, with the WNO Operations Support team anticipated to be among the hardest hit. The anticipated changes follow longstanding project management challenges and leadership issues that have been building over time.

Is it true that a reorg is coming? It seems like there’s a hiring freeze for PM partners in GBSG. Does anyone know who might be affected? When?

Maybe its just me but multiple large group calls have been cancelled this Wednesday and Thursday. I get its the week of the 4th but would it be crazy to think layoffs could hit this week too? Or is it July 15-16?

Looks like FHE isn't paying the bills again! Unfulfilled orders are piling up, haven't seen any D&H or Ingram Micro orders in weeks. Rumors abound on Slack about cashflow issues again, but of course OTC is tight-lipped, pretending there's no issue, while the boots on the ground have to deal with the pi---d-off institutional customers. May be time to desert the sinking ship....

The July 1 announcement is just a few days away. Are we going to hear about massive change, or will it just be a repeat of what we heard a couple weeks ago? Will they announcement headcount targets or kick that down the road? Personally I’m getting tired of the LT breadcrumbing us.

After the June 15th VTP (Voluntary Termination Pay up to 104 weeks) announcement for a bunch of Leg T CWA union workers as well as much rumor going around for more of the same in September and December, I wonder what the people now say who adamantly exclaimed that there will never be a VTP. It would be interesting to hear how they rationalize or explain this now.

I want to preface everything with the fact that I have no idea if they’re actually planning to absorb minimal tech resources into UHG and then sell Optum. This is just a rumor that I read previously on this site.

I have two questions:

Does anyone know if this rumor has any merit?

If the rumor is true, how do you think they’ll draw the line in the sand? What teams will stay and what teams will be sold off? Will it be split by leader, onshore/offshore, etc?

I genuinely don’t know what outcome would be best. I’m just kind of curious if I can predict where my job will land.

So if NJ requires 90 days notice and they have to get people off the books to avoid that payout, then a June 30 announcement for an off payroll date kinda makes sense.
Does anyone have any insights to any announcement on June 30th ? This is all speculative, im just looking at rumors and how timelines could match up to the stock together date.

We got supervisor’s personally calling customer care representatives on their cell telling them that they have overtime avail Monday. They saying it is super secretive to the point they don’t even want to relay this info about overtime on tmobiles own systems and of course no one is suppose to talk about it. Major change is how Opentext operates starts July 1. This change requires fewer people to do all jobs. WFR notifications start next week.

If there are layoffs today then emails would have already gone out. If people aren't seeing emails then maybe the rumor was false?
