I willl be interested to see if the 13% and the RIFs are the work of the troll.
FIS layoffs & SF
We have to separate fact from opinion. SF was CFO of WP when FIS acquired WP. She was appointed COO with a primary responsibility of integration of WP and FIS. Integration was so bad FIS paid an additional 950 million in 2022 for acquisition and... — read more

At what point this week can we be at peace?
This uncertainty is ki-ling me. Folks on this thread have talked about 13% of the workforce being RIF'd, multiple teams expected to be impacted and most of it being initiated today. Yet, not many have said a word about receiving that uncomfortable... — read more
Sad thing
This is very sad that most of the companies are adapting to new tech like AI and laying off due to improvements but at FIS a "BIG BANKING PRODUCT" related company people are being laid off due to poor management
Good luck everyone
Just a short note to wish everyone good luck at this stressful time. Losing your job is scary but here are some things worth remembering if you get the chop. It’s not personal, it’s not a judgement on your ability, work ethic or personality. It’s... — read more
So this week will be interesting
If you are impacted it would help to understand the BU, team or even location. The company is too big to try and figure what jobs are impacted this time around. Thx!
Do the view counters here get reset or rollover?
It seems some posts show around 9000 views then the next day or so show a much smaller number. Merely curious, there at so many views right now as the date of the next purported layoffs (Tuesday) loom. Many have been generous with inside... — read more
Still can't wrap my head around the last layoffs round
What were they thinking? I look around at who's still here and who's gone and it's clear the best people are out and the worst people are still in. How did that happen? Either the decision makers only looked at spreadsheets or they're deliberately... — read more
Will this ever stop??

US Vacation when RIF'd
Does anyone know, if you take all your vacation for the year and then get laid off, do you have to pay back the part you haven't accrued yet?
FIS needs Elon Musk
FIS has layers and layers of Management. Basically these managers contribute zero value addition. Have never seen Ajay Goud, Ajay Gupta or Ramanand speak a single word during meeting. They hardly participate in technical discussions. If Elon Musk... — read more

Pondering Invest Cloud
Is this Invest Cloud partnership in Wealth all smoke and mirrors? Is wealth being sold to Invest Cloud?
What does it matter if the RIF is this week or next?
It's over for all of us here anyway.
True?
My SVP has said next week on Tuesday is expected to be the largest rif action Can anybody confirm this?
Being laid off has been a nightmare
I can't get interviews for roles that match my experience, so I've been applying for entry level jobs just to get some money coming in, since severance is melting away. Each one of them said I'm overqualified and would leave too fast. So what am I... — read more

I'm done worrying
This place isn't worth my health or my peace of mind. What happens, happens. I've gotten out of bad situations before, I can do it again. I refuse to look back later and regret losing sleep and energy over a job that doesn't deserve it.
This company is absolutely f&cked
