Xerox has too many challenges in their main "core competency" to overcome objections from their customers regarding IT services. Just because a small portion of our customer have onboarded, doesn't predict future success. On any given day, my email box is filled with HCL related issues that have carried on for weeks or months. At least once a day, I hear an issue I've never had before, with no possible short term resolution. We are not built for speed or flexibility. We have processes with so many chokepoints including the language barrier, technology barrier (HCL folks regularly lose internet connection), and often no direct line to whomever can resolve the issue. I am not aware of a single customer (I have over 120) who hasn't complained that Xerox su-ks now. The slogan We make work Work is a common insult we hear. And if the trust wasn't enough of a wake up call, remember that compensation for IT solutions as a Sales Rep is awful. I don't know anyone who wants to sell it unless its a "layup". Xerox will not turn around. Layoffs are going to happen Q1, and they will transfer most accounts to the crack team of inside sales. Those people are not as bad as HCL , but that's a low bar to clear. I often wonder on our Xerox calls, are IT people really this ignorant to our current situation, or are they just disconnected enough because of other non Xerox clients? One last thought...As a Xerox employee, do you really believe that Xerox can outshine the IT competition, in one of the most competitive markets, with all of our processes, and current leadership when we are losing more often in Xerox's legacy core competency?

No wonder the stock price change
When you listen to leaders that sound disjointed and are so rattled they can't even hold a train of thought.
Jeez.
confitmation this morning
saw my SD in the hallway - she looked very upset. I asked her what's up and she pulled me into a room.
She just learned she's out. Layoffs will be 20% across all bands, all BUs, all geos, all everything. SVPs, VPs, stores, GN&T, everything. Looks like I'm on the list, too.
WHAT HAPPENED TO SCMG
MISS THE DAYS WHERE WE USED TO BE ABLE TO CALL THEIR HELPDESK AND GET SOME HELP. HASNT BEEN THE SAME AND JUST GETS WORSE. LONG WAIT, WE DONT GET A CALL BACK OR THEY TELL US TO CALL OUR IT AND OUR IT TELLS US TO CALL SHARP. OUR DRS AND STAFF ARE BEYOND FRUSTRATED! I HAVE EMPLOYEES WAITING AROUND FOR ACCOUNTS. HAVE TO WORK EXTRA HOURS TO CATCH UP. AND HERE I AM ON THIS WEBSITE SO I HAVE AN IDEA ON WHAT TO EXPECT. DO BETTER WE’RE YOUR CUSTOMERS TOO!
No communication from Sampath
Haven't heard from Sampath since announce of nee CEO. Is Sampath on his way out? If so, would guess to think big changes for VCG and possibly even Sampaths baby Case Management??
Are bp operations team members still on Teams 6 hours a day?
How does bp get work done? When there is a perceived and peer/supervisory pressure to attend/host perpetual Teams meetings. Is this on purpose?
CEO Transparency is important- not just for moral but a show good leadership-
Why is this new CEO- opting to be so cryptic? He has a company with highly talented employees wearing a dozen hats each. They all deserve at this point, to know what the new game plan is-
Every Verizon employee has been digging in, trying their best to keep things afloat, especially the last several years-
After every layoff- VSP/ISP talent has been lost and the work load consolidated. Yet even with all the internal struggles - we keep at it.
If Dan truly wants Verizon to succeed- he needs to be candid and up front with his employees. We can handle the hard truths- we can deal with change and limitations- but the C-suite silence is destroying the company from the top down.
Dan- be different-be frank- tell the people at Verizon what is happening and do it sooner than the Nov. 20 mark- the internal barometer is tipping negatively and once it goes too far we are looking at Sprint 2.0-
You are losing trust, confidence, and support from your workforce. We all know what is coming, but the way you are decidedly unveiling it- especially in these economic times, with all the political theatrics happening in DC, only exacerbates and compounds the situation- any other year might be fine- but this is not the current weather for it.
Come clean and do it quick- or everyone here will soon agree you’re no better than Hans……
Do they spy?
Do they spy on your work machine?
Return to Office
No official communication or org announcement sent out about RTO. This policy needs to be explicitly stated. Managers relaying it down the line by word of mouth is toxic. List the policy out in an official notice to not leave your employees anxious and uncertain, shame on leadership once again.
New head of corporate affairs
Looks like Verizon is serious to improve its image and how it’s getting perceived by stakeholders and customers
Friday "Decided to Retire"
Emails are en route.
“Happy thanksgiving”
Doing this the week before a major holiday makes it more depressing. Not just for those on their way out but for the peers who are left behind to pick up the pieces until the next set of RIFs. Put us out of misery and tell us sooner
Internal move
Should you tell your manager that you have incoming interview with other team?
Can You Imagine
Not giving the time of day to your number one supporter.
Tim Clark Said He's "P.O." Boeing Isn't Talking To Him!
Another 2 year delay with the 777X and Tim Clark
president of Emirates Air, gets the news from the media rather than Boeing.

Boeing is definitely #2 figuratively and literally.

What do you think about the email?
Real life
I know for a fact some layoffs have already happened. Why isn’t anyone coming on here and giving details?
PULSE... ANONYMOUS... JK LOL
The company culture is built on a foundation of distrust, particularly regarding leadership and feedback mechanisms. Pulse surveys are treated as a joke; the promise of anonymity isn't trusted, and employees see no positive change resulting from constructive criticism.
Follow-up meetings feel like attempts to 'brainwash' employees into believing their voice matters, which is made worse by condescending 'family' and 'Vteam' rhetoric.
The most toxic part is that leaders are reportedly penalized if their teams are too honest, creating a system where compliance is valued over improvement. Leadership's communication is viewed as political and disingenuous, and the company feels like a hollow shell of what it once was.
That “communications” email
Whoever wrote it thought they were really doing something.
we've hold our hands strong today in powerflex..
So was that strange long message to us:
genuine a wake up call or super long reminder that "winter is coming.." and now its going to be "cold"?
“Leadership” Politicians
What’s really frustrating, and honestly a little disturbing, is how many of our leaders have started acting like politicians. They ignore anything negative, spin reality, and only focus on whatever sounds good in a town hall or email. It’s insulting to our intelligence and completely out of touch with what’s actually happening on the front lines, where the real work gets done.
Until leadership stops pretending everything is fine and starts listening to the people doing the work, nothing will change. Just more talk, less trust, and a widening gap between the top and the rest of us.
Typical conversation with outsourced customer service or support.
Outsource Scammer: “I have a sale for you, they want everything.”
Me: “Great, thank you.”
Customer: “Hi, the previous representative told me I would receive $2,000 in credit and one year of free service.”
There is NOTHING honest about them.
Town Hall Bingo!
Take a sip every time you hear:
We've got more work to do
We gotta make the hard decisions
Xerox is BACK. We are here!
The Street is loving us/The Street is excited
I will answer that later
When did leaders start acting like politicians?
I might not have liked all of Dan’s message but at least it was spoken plainly and honestly. What is really annoying and a little disturbing is that a lot of our leaders now seem to operate like politicians. They ignore anything negative or challenging and only look to talk about the positives. This is totally insulting to employees intelligence and emphasises the gulf between senior leaders with what is happening on the front line
Earnings call?
What did Bob say? I only caught the end of his comments, but they didn't sound good.
New Chevron Slang
New Chevron slang and acronyms are coming out that are good.
Its truly the change that we need and the things we need to be saying as a company to collaborate and work more efficiently. So here they are:
Going forward if you need to take a number 2 its called taking a MW.
Take a number 1 is a MN.
Start using these to bring us together!
It's all about word smithing
Nothing else matters
Go in o Friday or Monday now.
Email went out today telling us to go in on mondays for Friday bc Tuesday thru Thursday are the busiest days. Yeah a--holes you’re cramming us all in and making people show up into less space.
Big big changes to Wealth on horizon
A lot of group chapter leads, platform leads are up for significant role shake up.
This won't be without impacts to associates at level 4,5,6.
We are looking at complete restructuring of middler tier managers which includes delivery leads, platform leads, chapter leads and group chapter leads.
There's a chatter of no more squad model, lot of squad leads, group squad lead roles are up for a shake up as well
While the consensus is "no impacts to associates", we all know that's a lie.
Some will be communicated the decision middle of November, giving associates 2 months to find new role.
Others would have until end of Q1 2026 to find new role.
Freddie’s lost its mojo. No inspiration, just cuts and numbers.
Leaders are afraid to communicate, afraid to get in the news, afraid of baby-napoleon-pulte, afraid to have ideas. The only word left in their vocabulary is efficiency. They think they are being political savvy tracking people’s calendars, emails, badging. I am not blaming them. Just feeling sad for them. What a culture:(
Pam
Does anyone have any insight to what the email Pam sent out to the Americas and Danbury groups is trying to convey?

Comms Layoffs
Riffs afoot. Ditch the human element, instead let AI write Nike comms. MG wasted no time.
Can someone in the actual know provide information on when the next round of 1,000 layoffs are?
New Paramount Skydance Senior Management (DE/JS) made a big stink of saying that they want to be one and done. The next thing we know this has now turned into another round of 1,000 layoffs. Maybe the next cycle is a focus on International, maybe it something else. It would truly be wonderful if the Senior Leadership of this company could enlighten us a bit since they were the ones that put the "one and done" out there. Don't really want to have to be thinking about this 24/7 as we approach the holidays. Maybe someone can tell the new Head of PSKY Human Resources to truly do the "human" thing and provide some guidance here. They set the expectations on this in August, not us. And now here we are again...

No Business Update Invite Yet—Anyone Else?
Just wanted to follow up—still no invite on my end. Curious if anyone here has received theirs yet or heard anything through the grapevine?
Also, for those tracking layoffs.com/dell, keep an eye on the bot activity. Historically, when things start shifting, the upvote/downvote patterns tend to flatten out. Might be worth watching over the next few weeks.

WHO SAID IT?
At Verizon, we are always listening to what our customers are saying as we focus on giving them the best experience at incredible value.
Why are we not getting calls or talking transfers worrisome!
It seems with all the changes and weather and the hurricane affecting JSL Multi contact is dead why? Frontline seems busy but no transfers? Any insight?
Wexford office closing permanently on Nov 28th
Note of Thanks to Dublin Office
Please pass along my sincere thanks to the Dublin team for their exceptional engagement over the past 12 months regarding the Wexford office closure.
Their responsiveness and clear, compassionate communication have been critical in managing redundancies and arranging remote-working transitions.
Key highlights include rapid coordination with HR and line managers, thoughtful one-to-one support for impacted colleagues, timely IT onboarding for remote roles, and the practical FAQs and check-ins that helped reduce anxiety and uncertainty. Their professionalism and empathy have made a difficult process significantly more manageable for everyone involved.
I look forward to enhanced support from HR and Management across this business lines during the month of November.
FIRE THE PR FIRM WHO CAME UP WITH CHAMPION MINDSET
Especially since the card carrying members of Mensa who run Truist can't even articulate what it's supposed to mean. Incredibly insulting to your employees. You've failed us all.
