Nobody's safe. I've watched good people get cut, bad people stay, and the rules change every quarter. I've stopped believing in job security entirely.

Now we're nothing but a joke. It breaks my heart to see how we're being systematically destroyed and there's nothing we can do to stop it.

I've watched some of our best engineers leave for rivals. Nobody's even counteroffering. It's like they don't care.

I always assumed if you gave notice at T-Mobile, they'd just let you go. But a colleague of mine was recently on his way out, then mysteriously decided to stay. He wouldn't say why, but he did hint that the company came back with a better offer. I didn't know they did that.
