New manager won't get off my back. I'm good at what I do, yet I'm constantly interrupted and second-guessed. They're relentless, especially with me. No clue if this is just bad management or if I'm being set up for cuts. As if I don't have enough stress already.

Anyone have today's tally?
Nothing going on where I am. Based on the little info trickling in, seems like quiet layoffs this time. Not minimizing how awful it is for anyone impacted, just saying this round feels completely different from the last ones.
NYC ?????
It's been scary quiet regarding layoff impact in NYC. Anyone care to share any insight into the matter?
Is this true about 2/28?
What they didn't tell everyone is that 50% of the Alternate work force is also being let go on Friday 2/28. The real black Friday. eBay hurting and families will be hurting. This is not due to AI, but poor management.

Raise the bar Orlando Kickoff Trip
Who is ready to show, blow everyone senseless, and get laid off in 3 months? Just put that money towards our salaries.
Don’t buy Intel stuffs
Employees are in layoff scare times so they cannot make any good products. Better to stay away from it.
Stop spreading rumors.
No end of month RIF notifications. So stop spreading unfounded rumors. Listened to the Joe Russo leadership call and no big news on layoffs. Stop spreading unfounded rumors.
Many Layoffs Today
Several across RA&S, GRS, and Health value streams in Canada.
Lay offs
Total insensitivity for those that have been part of the many layoffs. Metrics are almost impossible to meet and performance reviews are calculated so unfairly. Not the company everyone used to know. Associates are crying, frustrated and disappointed in how the way they make their lives are being handled. SO SAD.
Feb 26 Layoffs
Which groups have gotten layoffs this week? And no internal announcement yet, what's the deal ? Now called Fewer Coworker February since Fast Start Feb clearly didn't work
AIP notice was supposed to be today, or not?
I guess I thought we would hear something today. If it is decent, I also find that a bit odd given all the layoffs underway this year.
You are a number, remember that. They don't care. They never did.
Once certian projects are finished they will lay off the rest of that department and let L T I take over. Congrulations on working yourself out of a job. HR will mostly be replaced by a computer. Get used to talking to a machine.
Middle management will be gutted.
They won't be needed since LTI has their own management in place. Projects will be downsized further and support groups dismantled and/or gone. Operations you aren't safe. They are looking at you. Anyone who is of retirement age will be next. If you have several complaints in your file you will also be gone. There won't be anyone left at cpchem except for a few in corporate.
Goldman Sachs warns that accelerating AI adoption could raise US unemployment...
- Major firms announcing AI linked job cuts include Nike, Amazon, Meta, Dow, HP, Allianz, Telstra, WiseTech, Pinterest, Autodesk, MercadoLibre, SEB, British American Tobacco, and Agora.
Goldman Sachs warns that accelerating AI adoption could raise US unemployment, estimating AI caused 5,000 to 10,000 monthly net job losses in highly exposed industries last year and accounted for 7% of planned layoffs in January.
Companies across sectors including technology, finance, manufacturing, telecoms, and consumer goods are restructuring to prioritize AI, automation, and digital transformation.
Workforce reductions range from hundreds to several thousand roles, with some companies cutting up to one third of staff as they redirect investment toward AI systems, cloud platforms, and efficiency programs.
The trend signals a broader shift in corporate strategy, as businesses reallocate capital toward AI driven productivity gains, raising concerns among investors and economists about structural labor market disruption.

New Hampshire Bill Links Hospital Pay to Layoffs
A New Hampshire bill proposes freezing executive pay at Coos County hospitals. This freeze would occur if hospitals lay off 10 or more workers in a department. State Senator David Rochefort introduced the bill, citing accountability for Medicaid funds. North County Healthcare, which operates the hospitals, opposes the legislation. They argue the bill removes local control and could negatively impact healthcare.

Has Verizon lost its mojo?
I’m shocked how lethargic and resigned so many colleagues are to being laid off…once Verizon was a company to be proud of but right now? It’s a sad situation that employees feel so disconnected from the company

No growth, no security, no point
You get stuck in your role here with no real path forward. Management doesn't care what you contribute. Strong reviews and extra effort mean nothing when they decide you cost too much. The layoffs come for everyone eventually. Only come here if you have absolutely no other choice.
Concerto Biosciences layoffs
No number out, but cuts have been reported.

Major layoffs incoming
I know it'll happen over three years, but getting rid of over 3k people is an overkill, in my opinion. This will affect the company in ways the leadership apparently is incapable of envisioning. I'm just wondering what'll happen when they realize that institutional knowledge is key in our work.
Corporate layoffs
I expected store closings, but I have to admit I was hoping corporate would be spared. Still, with the state of Pap Johns right now, it shouldn't be surprising to anybody. I'm just worried that this might be the start of something much bigger. I guess we'll have to wait and see.
Always having to worry about layoffs is exhausting
It's a wonder any of us can get any work done. It's unhealthy and ki-ls morale. If we had better leadership, they'd realize they're destroying the entire company like this.
St. Louis Mayor Fears Layoffs From Police Budget

Hilarious!!! State Farm made $24 billion last year as a Mutual Company. Crooks!
State Farm just announced it made $24 Billion dollars last year and is going to pay $5 Billion in dividends. Most in history! State Farm is a Mutual Company and should never ever ever never make that much money. They have the best actuaries and investment people and know exactly what they are doing. That means they have been robbing people blind. Remember that the next time they tell you to do more with less or we don't have any money in the budget for staffing. I can only imagine what kind of bonuses the Executives are going get. Just like the rest of Corporate America destroying this nation. Sc-m of the earth trash!

2026 Goals
Anyone get their goals? Why are there so many? This isn’t manageable. I don’t get what any of them have to do with me. Create 10% digital employees, reduce night shift by 75%. Um I don’t have staff, and I don’t work night shift. I’m assuming night shift is Pune and we only have 1 person. How is 75% reduction possible and why do I care? I’m already doing their work. You already took my staff and gave them to Pune. D-mbest firm ever! I guess they are gearing up for another 10% layoff!
Has there been any credible news about more cuts?
Or are we enjoying a well-deserved break right now?

Maybe we’re due for a round of layoffs
There’s definitely plenty of fat around here. The problem is that when cuts come, the fat somehow stays and the actual muscle that does the work gets cut. Sad but true. We’ve got so many useless managers who could be removed, but they’ll continue to stick around and siphon off resources. What a crock.
Is RCSA at truist a death sentence?
Seen job posting for it, debating applying. But is there any future in that role, or are you just going to get sacked once it’s over?

Layoffs are coming really soon
I just heard 2nd hand from top brass that layoffs are coming and very soon. Be prepared.
It’d be funny if it weren’t sad
So many people getting bent out of shape, and for what? No layoffs. There’s a lesson in there somewhere.
Doubling down ... code speak for?
So NN the new CIO says he's doubling down. That means for all the ones who have lengthy careers, we're out. Get your resume ready because he's going to flush the whole lot. Wonder how long it'll take the shadow ops team to pull this one down.
Leader duming even more stock
There are now even more SEC filings showing our leaders are dumping even more stock. They keep telling us that we're one team and that we need to sacrifice while at the same time they are selling millions of dollars worth of stock. A huge Fu-k You to the employees.
Layoff Active
3 layoffs in close to 4 years with more possible depending on the outcome of 2026 registration numbers. Having trouble like other health insurance companies. Steer clear for a while unless you have no choice.
