If you are leaving Centene which new industries are you looking at? Or are you staying in health care in one capacity or another? I am concerning leaving health care.

Leaving Retail
This is just a general question for retail workers, especially Sams Club workers. As a long time associate, I have never entertained the idea of leaving until the last few years. However being there for as long as I have, with established vacations, and PTO, and of course insurance, it feels as if my hands are tied and I should just su-k it up. I am not happy as to the way the direction of this company has gone, or the leadership within the walls of my store. I don't want to sound like a je-k, but I feel as if I so much better then where I am currently stuck at. That I am wasting possible untapped potential. I know that many of you probably know the feeling or may be struggling with the same internal fight. To take a leap into the unknown feels a bit scary, since I am unsure of what to go into next? But I also know that I am suffocating where I am at. And don't want my life to pass me by, knowing I could have been more. Has anyone here successfully navigated away from Sams Club? To put into context, I am a 22 year associate.
I don't see a future here anymore
The smartest thing anyone can do right now is spend their spare time looking for a new job. The people who don't are going to be caught off guard when things get even worse.
I've never felt this burned out in my entire career
I've been working long enough to know that every job comes with pressure. What I've never experienced before is feeling this mentally exhausted all the time. The workload just keeps growing, the expectations never ease up, and it feels like everyone is running on empty. I've reached the point where I'm looking for something else because I can't imagine doing this much longer.
Who's job hunting?
Who's actively looking for a new job? I know some people are planning to stay no matter what, but I'm guessing that's not most of us.
No regrets
I wanted out for a while, so this is doing me a favor. I feel bad for my teammates who'll have more work now, but it is what it is. I leave happy.
Curious on where to jump next
Thinking about Splunk – is it a smart move or a sinking ship?
Just leave…
If you are debating leaving Truist and are afraid to, don’t be. It’s so much better being away from that place. You will make more money elsewhere and you will be happier. Don’t trust your leadership and hope that they do better because they won’t. Just leave. It will be ok! Not a troll, just a ex employee who got out and sees that it’s all working out.
Just had an interview…I’m the 4th person from Centene to interview
This is something I’ve never encountered before. It’s draining and but keeping hope alive. Just thought I’d share
Daily quitting urge
Is anyone else struggling every day not to just walk away?
Think twice before you jump
I learned the hard way that leaving wasn't the solution I thought it would be. I ended up in the same mess but without the seniority I'd built up. Make sure you truly know what you're leaving for before you jump ship, is all I'm saying.
Number of jobs you’ve applied for
Let’s motivate ourselves to leave. I’ve applied for 3 so far and I’m applying for at least one today. How many jobs have you applied for so far?
Off to a bad start
Well, the big kickoff is underwhelming.
I wasn't expecting an episode of the view right out of the gate. I would've expected this later this afternoon.
Good lord, we're such a woke, gynocentric mess. I gotta get outta here.
Wonder if I can get a useful gig like driving a truck.
Here it comes…
I’m expecting to be laid off this Thursday. My supervisor scheduled a 1:1 for the exact time and dates the expected layoffs are estimated to take place. I don’t know how to feel about this, but now gotta face the next 4 days with this information looming over me. I wish they’d just rip the bandage off and do it today. Anyone else in this boat?
I feel completely stuck
I know people who've left FIDO and found so much joy. They tell me about the peace they've found and the stress that's gone, but I still can't do it. I believe them, but I just can't overcome my own fear of the unknown. What if I can't find something? What if it's worse? I know it's probably not, but I can't convince myself to take the risk.
Any layoffs in Q3/Q4 2026
Are there any layoff going to happen in year 2026?
Jump Ship!
Workers, they kicked me out three years ago. I got another job with about a 20% raise. The work is super easy and light. The tech debt at TU is oppressive and it's pretty obvious they want as few of you there as possible. Have no loyalty at all if you ever did. I know times are scary, but wages are shooting up for certain things. I don't know why developers are still there.
Jeff Wants You 8 Hours in a Cube
Jeff doesn’t want you to make friends, he wants you to sit in your cube 5 days a week. Upper management have special privileges. Go ahead and leave, don’t stick around.
Best time to leave is.....NOW
Lots of great opportunities out there but the window will not stay open for long. Don't get stuck on this sinking ship..................
Can it happen already?
I wish all the layoffs would happen tomorrow, just so we could move on, one way or another.
I hate EJ
I despise it. And to think there was a time when I liked my job and I was proud to be working here. They've completely destroyed a once great company to the point that most employees are looking for a way out. I never thought I'd be the one saying it, but I truly hate this place.
I should have been gone by now
I made a promise to myself I'd be out of here months ago. I've tried everything but every offer I get pays way less than what I'm currently making. I'd take a cut but not that much.
We deserve more
I look around and I see so many talented people putting up with so much nonsense. We all deserve so much better than what we're getting here and what we've been getting for years. It actually surprises me that more people haven't already decided to leave and find something better.
Leaveverizon
If a layoff’s coming, why wait? Find better opportunities and move on. Just how things are trending lat
Anyone still happy here?
I genuinely hate everything about this place. The work, the boss, the people, the politics, it's all awful. This isn't the same company I joined and I'm counting the days until I can get out.
They succeeded in silencing me
I've been thinking about who I was when I started here versus who I am now. I used to speak up when something was wrong and I always used to advocate for people. Now I just keep my head down and stay quiet, even when I see something clearly unfair happening. And I realize that's exactly what management wanted. They've created a culture of fear that's made me lose my voice. Knowing that has only made me more determined to leave as soon as I get the chance.
3 more months
Til we leave this sh-tshow. PTSD will still linger from mission 1 but we will all recover. F this place and good luck everyone.
I'll be celebrating the 4th of July without a job
I hate this leadership and I hate this fu--ing company. Thanks for nothing.
UK LR notification completed?
team has been told that we are not impacted but looking out fr frnds
On my way out! FK CSCO
Denied promotion once again.
Expectations of me growing higher and higher.
Doing great work and being praised for it, but because im not su-king off higher grades about sh-t I dont give a flying fu-k about, and not inserting myself in meetings unnecessarily, DENIED.
How does one start finding a job elsewhere ? I have 5 years of experience.
My interview skills have 10 layers of cobwebs and dust.
Praying for a way out
I've been here a few years now and I've lost count of how many times I've been thrown under the bus for stuff I didn't do. My manager just shrugs and tells me that's how it works, which is just infuriating at this point. Can't wait to leave T and never look back.
Happy Independence Day!
To my Cengage colleagues stilled mired in the muck of this soulless entity, I just got a new gig and gonna take a little PTO before quitting.
Happy Independence Day!!!!
I Miss AT&T Already
I can’t believe it’s really over. I would gladly work In the office full time again if it meant I could keep my job. AT&T was such a big part of my life. I feel so lost.
I would like your advice
For those who chose to leave after a reorganization and successfully landed a new role—how did you approach it?
This reorganization has been incredibly draining. I’m grateful to still be employed, but I’ve taken on responsibilities that are scoped nearly three grade levels above my current role, and I’m realizing it’s time to move more strategically.
I’m open to contract work and seriously considering submitting my two weeks once I have a solid transition plan. I’m feeling depleted, but I know I need to start taking steps toward something better.
For those who have made this kind of move, what helped you navigate the transition?
Is it possible to hate this place more
I really cannot stand to be here any longer. I’ve been applying for other places and hoping to get something good because being here is terrible
Not Sure how much longer I’m gonna last here
I’m so stressed I’m having nightmares and daymares about me dying at my desk or turning into that Brendan Fraser movie The Whale. I think I might have to look elsewhere sooner that I thought. I was gonna holdout longer but I don’t think it’s a good idea
Catastrophic post CP11/covid turnaround
Stock value down 90% post CP11 / covid. Estero down to useless HQ shell. Now we’re supposed to believe Oro and other useless ventures will path us to glory. Going back to basics got us nowhere. More rounds of layoffs this week. Anyone left with half a brain employed at Hertz needs to get the he-l out asap.
