Has anyone heard about the pricing to outsource the GSOC?
I heard that was the next group after TS was booted out.
McK Pharmacy Systems (EnterpriseRx)
RIFs underway for McKesson Pharmacy Systems (EnterpriseRx), particularly in engineering. Most engineering to be outsourced overseas.
Nothing is getting outsourced
The plan made by the leadership is insane. In the name of outsourcing to India, VZ is cutting jobs and restructuring work among the existing employees. In India, we have only a very, very limited number of team members, and even among them, many employees have been let go.
Hiring practices are wild.
With all the H1Bs and outsourced roles (totaling millions of jobs), no wonder the job market is “down”. Not to mention, I know several people in office who got their children internships and full time roles here. This cr-p is ridiculous and all companies who partake in undermining American opportunities should be fined heavily and required to hire locally. Dont start with “lack of talent”. Thats a lie. We have more than enough, these companies just don’t want to train or pay Americans when they could do it for a fraction with foreigners.
BAT Announces Major Workforce Reduction and AI Integration
British American Tobacco is undertaking a major workforce restructuring. Approximately 5,500 positions will be eliminated, and 3,500 roles moved to third-party providers. The company aims to reduce costs and improve profitability through AI and outsourcing. This overhaul responds to declining traditional tobacco sales and increasing regulations. BAT expects to generate £600 million in annual savings by 2028.

Supply chain and procurement merger AKA more oustsourcing
An article came out stating procurement and supply chain are being combined under one group now. We all know that this means more roles will be eliminated in the U.S. and outsourced to GCC in Mexico.
Ok lemme get this straight
Hundreds of millions already spent on AI with no benefits so far. None
1400 laid off does not balance the ai debt.
Shipped jobs to ITC and vendors who do absolutely nothing and are robbing us with inflated contracts that leadership is clueless about.
Tons of bloat, inexperience and toxicity in tech leadership and down.
Tech can’t drive excitement for product or make meaning commercials, but we’re sure not helping the sinking ship.
S.L. Nusbaum Outsourcing Accounting, Cuts Jobs
S.L. Nusbaum announced layoffs affecting approximately 22 employees. These reductions primarily impact lower-level accounting positions. The company plans to outsource some accounting functions for efficiency. Layoffs will occur over six months, beginning in August. Affected employees will receive severance and internal job search support.

How many impacted by today's MSP announcement?
Any idea how many IT employees will be outsourced?
RIF in Collections
Teammates were let go and replaced by offshore. The gossip was we pay Infosys less $5 per hour for offshore. There's no way onshore can compete.
MSS/PS just got HCL Tech'ed..............
Great job Verizon, thanks for the memories! They saved the MSS fed side and sh-t everyone else out! Down with the sinking ship! Middle fingers up Dan!
Danfonso will be moderately successful!
Putting emotions aside and trying to be objective, it seems to me that Danfonso will be moderately successful. They’re just financial engineering their way to a slightly higher free cash flow. Layoffs, outsourcing to India, and cutting costs aren’t novel or revolutionary ideas. They haven’t come up with any new strategies to open up new markets or increase revenue so they’re relying on the tired old playbook. The hype about AI is a smokescreen. It’ll get implemented to some extent but it’s not going to increase revenue, or unleash synergies or cut costs drastically.
It stinks for the employees and will continue to do so. The company will become leaner and slightly more profitable and the executives will exit after getting a big payday.
OUTSOURCING - A thread for: pros, cons and personal experiences relating to Outsourcing/Offshoring.
That's the post. What do u think?
Accenture Updates
Many at TIAA-CREF who are familiar with the deal that they inked with Accenture a couple of yrs ago, are stating things are not going
One TIAA commentator says quote:
“There was no legitimate transformative purpose, except to hire more offshore (India) for cheap labor. It's a mess here at TIAA.”
It’s a mess ! Just think, before the 2024 agreement, TIAA had been working with Accenture for years before, but the new deal has not panned out and there are delays, errors, slowdowns, outright abandoning of activity. This, and combined with earlier posters stating Indians work slower & only do 50 % of the work the Americans.
Word to Rich, Malarki, & the Boca Ex VP: Hire Accenture. W/No knowledge. 50% of the pay, and 50% of the work productivity. Then factor in client defections & the real net benefit is a big $0.00
Yes it can get worse, and it just did
This has to be a new record and 3M Management deserves some kind of reward!
So basically it's been just a few days since 75% of the GSC in Poland was informed that they're going to Genpact and the remaining 25% are being moved to a different 3M entity. These people were quite optimistic in this s*itty situation, at least they won't experience the pure chaos that GP has to offer, right? Well the dream lasted only until early this week when a certain Town Hall was held for one of the departments where management was happy to announce that "some" processes are going to move to a new 3M entity in India 😀 Just imagine this for a second, having a bit of relief because you were about to get a better option than Genpact and then finding out - just a few days later! - that you were going to be sold to 3M India instead of Genpact 😂 Actually this is now a worse option than goong to GP, they will get to work at GP for about a year, while 3M India has the potential to swallow you up way faster... The ink on the contracts these people signed with 3M Poland didn't even dry... This has to be a record even in the corpo world, congratulations 3M!
Chartiers Valley Board Approves Bus Outsourcing, 41 Jobs Lost
The Chartiers Valley School Board voted to outsource its transportation services. This decision followed a public hearing with community opposition. The board approved a seven-year contract with First Student. As a result, 41 transportation employees will be furloughed. The new agreement is set to begin on July 1, 2026.

VRAN team and FAST to India
My sources say that both groups are being outsourced to India
Outsource Finance
let’s save money. need a raise and getting rid of one of Verizon’s weakest departments would help.
Dan Schulman Has Got to Go. Episode III
Look, nobody knows jobs better than me. Nobody. And what Verizon is doing? Total disaster. A complete and total disgrace! They just fired 67 brilliant, incredible American workers from the NRB—the Network Repair Bureau. These are the people who keep the wires working, folks. Real Americans, tough, smart, the best. Gone! Just like that.
And where did their jobs go? India! They sent them to India. Unbelievable.
And you have to look at who is running the show over there. Dan Schulman—what is he doing? What a total lightweight. He comes in, he fires 67 of our great, hardworking American people, and for what? I thought these big corporate geniuses were telling us that "Agentic AI" was going to do everything. They said AI was going to fix the phones, fix the networks, make the coffee—everything!
So I have to ask: Are the people in India smarter than the AI? Or is Dan Schulman just completely clueless? I think we know the answer, folks. It’s a total mess. He can't figure out the AI, so he just ships the jobs overseas. Sad!
But let me tell you something, we’ve seen this story before. Remember Carrier AC? Carrier was going to move all those air conditioning jobs to Mexico, totally abandon Indiana. And what did I do? I stepped in, I made the call, and we saved over a thousand American jobs! The fake news said it couldn't be done, but we did it. We protected those workers, and they stayed right here in the USA where they belong.
And I am going to do the exact same thing for the Verizon workers!
We are not going to let these big corporate executives destroy American families and ship our legacy overseas. We have the best workers right here in America. We’re going to bring those jobs back, we’re going to look at Verizon, and we are going to take care of our people.
America First, folks. Always!
“ American Telephone and Telegraph “ 🇺🇸
The only thing “American” about the company is the name, because it sure does seem they wanna replace everyone with foreign H1B temps, offshoring outsourcing and Indian contractors. What a complete joke, just change the name to India telecom already 🇮🇳. As we lose our jobs make sure to DUMP their services
200 Jobs Lost To India
Bone crushing blow. Mutual of America is laying off over 200 employees over the next 15 months and shipping the jobs to India. A fleecing of America. An American company selling out. A giant suc-king sound. Morale is rock bottom. Mental Health counselors are on high alert. People are crushed. Devastated. Company can't find ways to raise revenue. Has to resort to cuts only. Accenture benefits. Mutual is now double paying: FIS ($8M) + Accenture ($~18M). Just think, the old system only only costs $8M per year. Now, they pay tripplethat
Is Centene outsourcing?
Feels like Centene has been trying to outsource a lot of work lately. Does anyone know if that actively happening?
Nothing will change
It's amusing reading all this speculation when we all know deep down that nothing will change. The same thing that always happens will happen again. We'll see more layoffs, more outsourcing, more "do more with less" rhetoric, and more of the same for employees. Nobody gives a damn about us or improving our situation, least of all any CEO.
How much longer do you think we have?
lol for me I think most of the onshore United States jobs will be made obsolete or outsourced by the end of 2028. What do you guys think?
1/2 Social Media Team Outsourced to Bangalore, India
The purge continues. 1/2 customer service social media team that supports customers vis social media channel were laid off and outsourced to Bangalore, India. Long time manager dating back to TSG included in layoffs. Hearing remaining half going after they train their replacements in India.
What goes around comes around
Could this be in store for PepsiCo as well?

Genesys cut over failure
how is the Genesys cut over for your teams? nothing seems to be working, communication is extremely lacking.. another great success for outsourced IT teams...
what a cluster
Caterpillar finance
They will continue to do rolling layoffs in cat finance through 2027. This is currently not AI layoffs but jobs to overseas. Personally witness interviews for people in india on jobs that's traditionally did not exist in that region
advances in AI are beginning to challenge the cost-arbitrage model that made India a popular offshoring destination.

Someone please ask about Genpact on the next investor call
Of course being replaced by ai is not impossible, and obviously scary, yet hilarious to think about our executives regurgitating data organized by ai because they won’t even know what’s incorrect.
3M Poland: The Layoff Nobody Calls a Layoff
What is currently happening at 3M in Poland looks very much like a mass layoff carried out without formally calling it a mass layoff.
Employees are being transferred to Genpact, where, in practice, their primary role is to transfer knowledge to teams in India. Once that knowledge transfer is completed, people are being let go one by one as their responsibilities disappear. The entire process feels very similar to what happened during the Solventum transition, but on a much larger scale and in a far more explicit way.
What is most disappointing is how people were treated today. Long-term employees who helped build these processes and contributed to the company's success were treated with very little respect or empathy. For many, it was a humiliating and deeply upsetting experience.
It is difficult to watch dedicated and experienced employees become disposable once their knowledge has been transferred. A very sad day for many people in Poland.
AT&T to downsize it's mobility network operation and management, and will outsource operation to two companies in India
The deal is underwriting with fine details. The mobility part of the company will be fully managed by two well-known companies from India
This was once a great company
Left late last year after 20 yrs w/ the company. When I started vz was the best company to work for. Took care of employees, customers and advancement opportunities were endless.
Ever since the Vodafone buyout happened in 2012/2013 it’s been a sinking ship. Less and less executives who worked up through the company, bad ideas (go 90, hum, etc), resources and support gone, outsourced CS, ripping off the customer, micromanaging thru the roof and layoffs every year.
It’s a shame but that’s corporate America these days.
OP is @15j+1kqqf7e4m.
So much to catch up on
- IceBerg is getting groomed to take over as CEO, multiple moves to get experience, but huge gap in how the actual operation works
- CPDO turned EVP of Innovation turned into a Car Sales headpiece finally given his golden parachute. Golden boy of investors didn't move the needle for Sandeepsht
- New CIO announced outsourcing most technology to India.
- Failed workforce planning department thought they were getting better by Israeli Palantir, but were off and now field ops is on a hiring freeze.
- New HR sends more emails, but hasn't fixed the negative culture, banking on Miss Ditz in the communications team to spin the ugly truth.
- Gillybean spends more money on cigars in a week than all of the money toward capital improvements at the field locations for the year.
To be continued - comment with big items missed
I think Abby will blink
I believe she will falter and rethink the FT RTO. It’s a bad decision it’s creating animus and very bad publicity which isn’t good for the bottom line.
People don’t like seeing their accounts handled by newbies outsourced and disgruntled employees.
T-Mobile will hire from India after layoffs in the US

Is there anything less American than this? F this company... How is this even legal?
AI will be replaced soon, but not by us
With token pricing increasing dramatically, AI solutions are going to be too expensive. We'll end up using real AI - another Indian.
Exactly this. CEOs are finally realizing that the moment AI stops being subsidized through subscription, its cost becomes way too high to justify. So they'll go back to the previous solution, which will be more outsourcing. Either way, we're the ones getting sc--wed.
Get rid of the jack wagons across the company that dont do anything but soak up a check!!!
I’m tired of it and I’m not alone. The dysfunction across the company has become pervasive. It’s especially pronounced in TGS and IT, largely due to heavy reliance on outsourcing in critical areas. But the issue isn’t isolated. Any function that has been outsourced is struggling.
As a result, teams are left trying to deliver projects and meet goals without the resources or support needed to do so effectively. What remains is a workforce that is burned out, disengaged, and increasingly unable to keep up. Many of the most experienced and capable people have already moved on, and those who remain often feel stretched thin or are simply holding on until better opportunities arise.
There’s also a clear divide between those who are driving results and those who are not contributing meaningful value. The fact that some of the latter are highly compensated only adds to the growing frustration. The strain and resentment are becoming impossible to ignore.
Nike GT became an Indian company
PHK or ITC, the same culture. We'll see where this takes the company.
