Does anyone have a town hall meeting in their schedule for first week of November

TSEP Town Hall. DD talking a lot about “right sizing” and assessing team’s workloads/team members allocated. Also mentioned as a piece of this year’s strategy- GCC 2.0 (global capability center)- where it improves the onboarding and training for ICC employees.

Literally telling us they will lay off US based workers and outsource the job to India. Good luck everybody

On the front page interview with our fearless leader. This interview is the same as our town halls- lots of words and nothing concrete 👌

G confirmed at the town hall that big RIF is weeks away. He called out management and underperformers but said cuts will come from everywhere. He also said there will more in the future but not every third thursday like employees have been used to.

What happened to it’s nice to see your faces? Or is there some news that is easier to give when you are not in an auditorium?

What was the takeaway? Layoffs coming this month? Sounds to me like they are going to have all of this done by the end of the quarter so we should hear something soon.

Anyone concerned about the Jan Town Hall meeting? Apparently Cengage Learning Platform will be introduced.

Gainwell responsibilities are shifting to Abacus and that means Gainwell staff will be reduced to account for the shift is the staffing model change. There was a townhall Thursday where Pinky pretty much told us that some of us will be moving on because the current staffing model will reduce the number of people in the new Abacus model. I mean, if people don't get the clue by that then they deserve to stay and suffer.

I am really going to miss those town halls with Charlie ‘Sharp as a Marble’. He was so inspirational when he took the canned questions from the Indians in the audience and answered them with utmost poise and professionalism. He and his big boys club will surely get a big bonus this year because of all the people they let down. Way to go Charlie, give yourself a pat on the back.

Did I miss it? They didn't mention it during the Town Hall at all. Hmm...

• Tell your MAGA in-laws how many of your American coworkers have been replaced with offshore Indians by Cigna.
• Tell your Mom and Pop that despite working for a Health Insurance Company that Cigna has still increased your health insurance by thousands of dollars a year.
• Does little Sally need a bedtime story? Maybe read her one about how a brave knight slays a parasitic PBM middleman like Express Scripts.
• Is your uncle into the stock market? Bond over talking about how bad the Cigna stock is doing. Its okay CEO David Cordani's pay is almost completely based on stock but yours isnt.

You wont get a lump of coal for doing any of this because Cigna said during the Townhall that they have set aside money to spin a more positive image of the company. Funny how there is always money for that and mergers but never for paying talented American humans.

I missed the Single Family Town Hall and heard the related Fishbowl threads were removed.

There is nothing admirable about the man who trades his authenticity to climb the corporate ladder. He becomes smaller, not greater. In chasing titles, he forfeits the one thing no promotion can replace; the integrity that makes a person worth following. DC is not the leader I want to follow.

They had a 30 minute extra Q&A after the AEM about the future of the OP campus. Anyone hear anything new about that?

After 2 years of complete mismanagement including the firing of great leaders and workers, Sandy the bully cried her eyes out on today’s town hall. No sympathy and good riddance.

This is usually a place for bad news but this is the best news I’ve heard in a while.

Heard big news are going to be delivered most likely at the townhall next week. Anyone knows what’s coming down the pipe? More layoffs? Leadership changes? Sell of parts of business?

The start to this townhall really represents how things are in TS ( Global Payments and Trade).

It’s a mess. How many executives does it take to operate a slide deck and Webex? Apparently at least four.

Love how she actually said that our company does so much for employees. Gaslighting knows no bounds.

Why didn’t VH have Q&A at her townhall. Seems like something is brewing. Surely she knew people would ask about the VSP and layoffs.

I've heard Artur went on some wild comments today during town hall.

Is it true he was throwing few strange wake up calls?

It seems there might not be any layoffs from the general pool of people with the exception of those that took the VSP. VH didn’t address it and it seems the company is well position for the future. What’s your take on the townhall? Have you heard any rumors of any upcoming layoffs?

Thoughts on automation. Met is pushing this forward along with offshore. I see contracts as the first casualty.

I just watched the recording and something I noticed was a rather despicable technique.

Kate said that the rumor that there will be another reorg in March isn’t true. And they can’t debunk all rumors. But the only rumor that I have ever heard is there will be massive layoffs next year after P&T is integrated into the businesses. This is a very logical thing to guess they will suddenly have extra people and they may or may not wind up needing or wanting them for their services.

She then proceeded to ask if we wanted another reorg due to all of the rumors about it, which was a “joke” in really poor taste.

Keep in mind that the LT all has media training. I believe that they intentionally debunked a rumor that makes no sense and probably doesn’t exist in order to not address the one that does. This is similar to how politicians these days will say crazy things and then walk back all but 20% of it, and then it turns out that all along their goal was to only get that 20% of bold things done.

Do not trust these people. Weasel words and sus physiognomy and body language. Jokes that serve as confessions.

Another example of this technique of answering a fake question to address a real one that can’t be handled - when asked about the future of US employees, Mark remarked that Shell is dedicated to investing in the region. This doesn’t even answer the question. Spending money the US doesn’t mean it was invested in the employees or that they won’t downsize again. Think critically and be very careful with what they say in town halls. It is literally rehearsed with PR.
