What happens behind the scenes when CEO visits a particular location? Besides a store walk, is it just a presentation by the local store team of sales and future projections? What determines a "good" visit?

Can part timer be scheduled up to 30 hrs in Q4? I believe the regular hours are anywhere between 12-24 or 12-20

Did Macy’s recently change their policy about having personal belongings at the registers? In the store I work we can’t have our clear bags at the registers. The bags have to be put in a locker.

What's happening with the MBA position? I know a lot do not understand the position and everything they do. They do so much. Basically a director is smaller stores.

How has this worked in your store? We have dock people who are M-F but no fulfillment that are M-F. Have people changed their schedules to accommodate fulfillment requirements? My store is under $20M

The pay is awful and they expect your whole life to revolve around this place. Days off don't mean much when they call you in anyway. Work life balance isn't a thing here. It's exhausting.

Does anyone have the job description for the receiving captain position? Looking at some job postings and curious what it actually entails at your store. What do you do besides fulfillment and working the truck deliveries?

As of today’s end, our department has still not received any communication from leadership regarding compensation. The ongoing lack of clear leadership and consistent communication continues to be our department’s most significant concern.
