Vacation question
I’m thinking about leaving Verizon voluntarily on my own terms. Does PTO get paid out? Not personal time or sick days just the PTO hours?

Best idea to save millions
Since we are AI all in lets replace the Board & Ceo with AI. Lets lead by example instead of always being a follower.
Been praying to be laid off for the last five rounds
Every time I survived. The only reason I stay is because I refuse to leave severance on the table after spending almost two decades here. The way it's been going, I'll retire before they lay me off, with my luck.
Verizon Data Team Layoffs 2026
I've heard the rumor both in the office and on layoffs.com - not sure how realistic is to expect that?
Congratulations to our new CDO!
Congratulations to our new Chief Downvote Officer! You’re doing great! Keep up the good work!

Cha-ching for some executives

Rumor is that some VSPers (2024) and enhanced severance employees have been..
allowed to come back to work at VZ. Anyone else heard this? The VSP and enhanced severance employees in 2024 were not supposed to be re-hired
I enjoy working for Verizon but my TL is the most ignorant person ever.
He’s exactly the kind of person others have described. He posts our personal information on on Gemini, exaggerates his knowledge of tech and telecom, and then dismisses or talks down to people who actually know what they’re doing. He’s a sc-mmy... — read more
The mess we inherit when someone gets promoted too fast

Layoffs and reorgs aren't going to make Verizon more efficient or better
Anyone who thinks there's a real plan behind all this, with every detail figured out, is kidding themselves. We've watched the same pattern play out, mainly cuts based on the bottom line, while bad managers and useless roles sail through. The only... — read more

Will be closed down. Expect sometime in early Q3 to be announced.
You have an internal interview scheduled…
You make contact with the hiring manager prior to the meeting and develop some rapport, identify some people in common, only to have an unlisted 3rd party join the Meet, who is inevitably some “distinguished” tw-t that throws curveball questions... — read more
Useless Work
Many people post on here about where is all the work going to go with layoffs? None of this has been addressed since VSP 1.0.. We were wasting so much money of useless “projects”, meetings, reviews, slide decks, paralysis by analysis, that the... — read more
I’m embarrassed by my team lead.

Speaking of managers in NY.

Who are we hiring in management?

Dan Schulman corporate coup, military action after 8 years on the board
