I’ll probably be in the minority, but I think Bill Brown is exactly the leader 3M needed. He came in with a plan, had the courage to make the tough decisions, and is executing it without wavering. That isn’t easy, and it certainly isn’t... — read more
Laid off today!
I am part of the BT LEX team in US and got notified today. Any others?
Announcement for Costa Rica GSC Tomorrow
Does anybody know what the announcement is for GSC Costa Rica tomorrow? Many jobs are moving to Genpact per announcement in June. Is this a phase two for more jobs going to Genpact? Is this restructure? What is happening with these days? Anyone here... — read more
3M’s slide into a toxic workplace threatens its future
A company built on innovation cannot thrive without top talent. High turnover, burnout, and disengagement will erode creativity, slow new product pipelines, and weaken competitiveness—ultimately damaging long-term growth, reputation, and shareholder... — read more
Anybody else regrets joining 3M?
The worst decision of my career.
Bill wins. I'm going to quit.
Putting in my two week notice on Monday. I can't take it anymore.
Any other US layoffs today?
I am based out of St. Paul location in BT business team and was just notified an hour ago. Been with the company for 30 years. They offered 1.5 weeks pay with 26 weeks cap. Any others got notified today?
Bring back the good managers
With all the restructurings, layoffs, people leaving on their own, we've lost all the knowledgeable managers who cared about both their people and the company (and yes, it's possible). The ones we have left should be shown the door immediately and 3M... — read more
How long until it all falls apart?
There's something I've noticed: a meeting starts, someone kicks it off with the generic "How's it going?", and the response is a crestfallen look, a deep breath, and "it's fine." Nobody is okay anymore. Nobody is happy. Nobody is getting anything... — read more
Respect and Trust are earned
Respect and trust are things that are earned, not assumed nor entitled. As such inept managers and above are not respected nor trusted as they have not earned it. Put another way.... nothing good ever comes in the absence of trust. Without it... — read more

3M shares is rising
Congratulations to BB and his team for doing a great work. Wall Street seems to like what they are seeing. Enjoy the rise in tide in the shares.
Yes it can get worse, and it just did
This has to be a new record and 3M Management deserves some kind of reward! So basically it's been just a few days since 75% of the GSC in Poland was informed that they're going to Genpact and the remaining 25% are being moved to a different 3M... — read more
What happened to expectations?
I don't get it. Just telling someone to do their work is now seen as aggressive. If you're not constantly praising people, you're being too critical. It's gotten ridiculous.
I don't want to be laid off
But I'd rather know now if I'm going to be show the door than wait and stress for months. Just expecting layoffs all the time is making me miserable.
Finance in IT???

Is my leadership normal?
I’ve been debating this for a while now. For about the past three years, my leadership has told me to make my own job description, come up with my own deliverables, define my own work. Now, within reason, I think this is fine. But even when I ask... — read more

Buckle up for layoffs in IT
Two to three months until they think Cognizant will be ready to start taking over activities in Digital, and we should expect some roles to be displaced. "Some of it will be a bummer," says RK.

I hate this place
I hate what's being done to it. I used to be proud working here. Not anymore.
If layoffs are coming, where's the WARN notice?
How are they laying is so many people without notice?
There's absolutely no sense in what they've been doing
Just the bottom line. We're treated as items and the company as a carcass.
Getting rid of institutional knowledge
Because that always worked out for others, right? Id--ts. We're being "led" by id--ts.
3M GSC Wroclaw- A Long story "Short"

Morale at rock bottom
How low can it go further? Pulse survey at this time?
What’s next? We pay the company on our way out?
First Genpact, then draining the people transferred there, then knowledge transfer to India, only to at the end not to pay any severance and drag people through a nervous breakdown. Any ex-Genpacter here to contest? OP: @ar+1ktrvkg7w
Unionizing due to ai is not extreme
Yes, it includes St Paul based jobs. Authorization cards have started.
Someone please ask about Genpact on the next investor call
Of course being replaced by ai is not impossible, and obviously scary, yet hilarious to think about our executives regurgitating data organized by ai because they won’t even know what’s incorrect.
sudden layoffs?
How come at the end of 2025 we all got a thank you note saying that we did better than ever and how much they appreciate us, then few month go by and they just sp-t on us? They're reaaaally trying to lose all valued and experienced employees. Is... — read more
