Any change in prabhat org? Suddenly townhall canceled.
Big Change in Chevron Exploration Leadership
Chevron has appointed a new Vice President of Exploration, bringing proven success from outside the company. This is a welcome change, as the performance of most current exploration managers has been consistently poor. Teams such as ERT, Excellence Exploration, GOA, and New Ventures between others, have not delivered the technical or leadership standards required. To move forward, Chevron will likely need to replace most of its Chevron's managers—up to 80%—to ensure stronger results. With new leadership, better times for exploration are ahead.
GSSO Leadership changes
Is SS/TS still in charge of GSSO?
Change tickets and Approvals
Most of the time is spent on creating CM tickets and getting R4 approval.
Its a royal pain the butt and frustrating the he-l out of engineers.
Its about delivery now going forward.
Let’s talk about it Charlie
Has anyone received formal written communication of any of the following changes:
1) requirement that we are in the office for 8 hours on in-office days or
2) move to 4 days in-office for some LOBs (ie. Corp Risk)?
It blows my mind that they updated the in-office guidance in October and did not send a single written notice to employees before they told managers to enforce it. In Risk, we’ve been informed verbally that we’re moving to 4 days in-office (even though CS just said nothing is changing) but have not gotten anything in writing confirming this is happening or when it will become effective. We should be getting notified of changes like this at least 60 days beforehand.
Legacy T
What’s going on with Legacy T techs? Big changes to Schedules, Reporting Locations, End of home dispatch for critical infrastructure crews? They giving up on business services? Contracts also up next year.
401K changes
Have you looked at the 401K investment changes on the email from Monday? Seems like they are narrowing down our choices. And it’s odd that there is a Schwab IRA option. Aren’t they a competitor?!
compete
with clover slowing down our only choice is to compete. that means being fast and responsive with a modern architecture. much of fiserv is based on 1980's technology will a small group of people who resist change and sabotage progress. the key for leadership is to remove these roadblocks and then to execute at a high level the next two years. it's a daunting challenge to be sure
TI - Change Needed
What is it going to take from those left in the DFW area to say enough is enough? TI is a woke company that doesn't care about its employees and continues to sell out our jobs to India. Leaders in the company are DEI placements, especially IT, and there is no end in sight. We need change! We need to take back our company! Should we start a Union? Stage a huge walk out from local TMG and IT? Any ideas on how to tell Krunali and Haviv that enough is enough and we will not lay down any longer!!!
CHANGES.
Many underperforming or overlapping doors will close or be converted to authorized retailer locations, especially in mid-tier markets. The company has already quietly stopped renewing certain leases and is testing smaller “express” formats.
Shifting to Indirect Channels:
Expect a heavier reliance on indirect resellers and national retail partners (Best Buy, Walmart, etc.) to handle standard transactions while corporate locations focus more on high-value accounts and business support.
Assistant Manager Role Consolidation:
Assistant Manager positions are likely to be merged or reduced, The “one manager, one lead” model (similar to what T-Mobile adopted years ago) is being piloted in select districts to streamline payroll.
R2B / SMB In-Store Teams Realignment:
R2B staff may be centralized or reassigned to district level coverage instead of sitting in stores. The focus is shifting to digital appointment-based engagement and outside acquisition rather than walk-in small business.
Performance Pressure on Remaining Staff:
Those who remain in corporate retail should expect higher individual metrics, less admin support, and more tech-driven monitoring
No More Cubes, Call Center Environment Instead
RR5 desks being uprooted in our department. Nice cubes being removed in favor of call center style desks sandwiched together with no privacy to speak to customers and clients alike. Floor will resemble a boiler room environment over the next month. I guess we are looking at the Sears customer support model from 1988?
Market Location Strategy paused?
Someone posted last week that there was a pause in Market Location Strategy displacements in Risk (see post titled "Risk Location Strategy"). I've heard something for a different group that was supposed to get their relocation decision letters in November (in advance of being displaced in the coming months), but that was "paused". Does anyone know if there is a larger change to the policy going on?
Agile changes
Can someone please explain the agile changes and job titles changes being introduced? I am based out of the US so didn’t get any email on it. Are they getting rid of scrum masters and SLs?
I asked why we were still hiring amid layoffs
My boss told me, and I quote, “to fill specific roles that support the company’s changing needs.” The funny thing is, most of the openings I see aren’t new or tied to AI. They’re the same roles that were just emptied out by layoffs in the past few months. Go figure.
What Bob's building?
Inherited environment, culture of stress, anxiety, uncertainty from Roger, added his own flavor of further uncertainty among associates.
When BME was announced, Rich was dead clear in sharing "everyone's going to be part of this model"
Since he didn't see eye to eye with Bob, he's on his way out the door now.
With the retiring of "squads, scrum masters, chapters", we will definitely see some BS made up titles with same responsibilities.
Why does Fido want to ruin the holiday season for all?
Are more layoffs coming?

Did somebody say AI was taking jobs....???
I remember about a year ago on this platform someone posted that AI would be taking jobs away from employees. Boy, was there a pushback on this point.
Many of the posts and reactions were never in a million years would AI be taking anybody's job.
Well maybe some of those in a state of denial can contact any one of the 4000 employees at Salesforce who got displaced to see what they have to say about it.
https://www.cnbc.com/2025/09/02/salesforce-ceo-confirms-4000-layoffs-because-i-need-less-heads-with-ai.html
The worst move we can make is to stick our heads in the sand and kid ourselves that we are so vital, nothing can take our jobs. The much better move would be to be in the group that "figures out how we can use AI to make our positions more valuable".
AI won't be replacing jobs that use AI but rather it will be replacing jobs that DONT use AI.
In the meantime here a sampling of just a few of the companies who already deployed AI to the detriment of employees in 2025 - the wave is coming.
By 2030..... well for those who continue to be deniers, you won't recognize how much the workforce has changed in just 5 years - things will change in the blink of an eye.... please get yourselves ready for what is to come

401k change?
Did they announce a change?

New Chevron Slang
New Chevron slang and acronyms are coming out that are good.
Its truly the change that we need and the things we need to be saying as a company to collaborate and work more efficiently. So here they are:
Going forward if you need to take a number 2 its called taking a MW.
Take a number 1 is a MN.
Start using these to bring us together!
Dem Wins… hope for HCSC change??
We can only hope!
Now we have new sales targets
Now a new sales target tier has been unleashed. It starts at one million and Ends at seven miiion we already had sales tiers before
This is the new company making up new things. Even if they existed
Value CMO is gone! - All moved to CRO and COO Org
As I mentioned Value CMO(VP) is gone as of yesterday. All moved to DK or KL. Very odd.
Shell moving HQ domicile from UK to USA
Hearing rumors of a change in corporate domicile from UK to USA. How will this move affect jobs in both countries
Be encouraged…
Times are tough. Changes are coming so fast we can barely keep track. Don’t be discouraged. It is so easy to stay in that mindset. Everyone has moments or seasons, but there is a way through and we will band together to find it. Within TRP or somewhere else. The journey is often difficult, but we will find our new normal, adapt, and flourish. Bad leaders will be exposed eventually. Bad business process too. Unfortunately at the expense of great people sometimes, but that is just the nature of business at this level and in this climate. Care for each other. Check in on one another. The greatest assets are the people, and when we look around at each other, there are far more good apples than bad.

Today Organizational Announcements (IT)
Does anyone have any insights on the COO leaving? Is she training Accenture to do her job too? I never thought they'd let her slip away given hiring goals.
Week 1
During Dan’s speech he told us that it was his 22nd day as CEO. He then stated that by his 44th day as CEO most of his transformative plan would be revealed and much of it would already be set in motion. This is the start of the 1st week of Dan’s 3 week transformation kickoff. Hang on for one heck of a ride! Hope I see you on the other side!
Finance Transformation…what happened?
There was a lot of noise and fanfare about this but there still seem to be thousands of managers in Finance and a lot of spreadsheets…has anything really changed?
APLA and CS
Does anyone have any more information on this?
The last I heard was the following;
APLA will transition to APAC, Latin America will join North America and CS will transition to a new role called VP, Global Geo Ops, which will be all about tying together the geos for consistency with a focus on brand and product. They will report directly to AM.
CHEERS
Time to move on
Maybe it is time to find another job, I recommend it for many to save your mental health and not be stuck in a layoff.
Remember you’re the one who dressed up for the interview. You’re the one who said you wanted this opportunity. You accepted the offer, and you keep showing up every day. So maybe—just maybe—“they” aren’t the problem. At some point, you have to stop pointing fingers and start owning the choices that put you here. If you don’t like where you are, change it. But pretending this is someone else’s fault isn’t going to fix anything.
What happened to Hans?
I just just saw Vz got a new CEO. Does that mean layoffs expected?
Roger Entner podcast Dan Schulman
Roger Entner, Recon Analytics
Roger Entner of Recon Analytics discusses Verizon's new CEO, Dan Schulman, in the podcast "The Week with Roger". In the episode "Change is Afoot- All About Verizon's New CEO Dan Schulman," Entner and co-analyst Don Kellogg analyze the appointment, predicting Schulman will initiate significant changes to improve customer experience and financial health after Verizon's recent struggles.
Mandate for Change: Entner explains Schulman, a seasoned consumer disruptor, has a two-year mandate to overhaul Verizon's strategy, including re-evaluating profitability targets and making "painful cuts" to right the company's course.
Strategic Shift: Schulman is expected to shift the focus from solely financial metrics to customer metrics as well, after the previous strategy of extracting more money from fewer customers proved unsustainable.
Leadership Experience: His experience as the founding CEO of Virgin Mobile USA and transforming PayPal is seen as valuable for this "rescue mission" at Verizon, although the telecom market is more mature than the expanding digital payments market Schulman previously worked in.
Future Outlook: The analysts anticipate a more competitive Verizon that prioritizes customer experience and value, following a period of subscriber losses.

Considering leaving technology
Been giving it serious thought, as I have been job searching and finding little movement or activity from applying, agency recruiters, etc. It might be due to now in Q4 and "circle back season", but I wonder if I should use this time to explore other options and going back to school part-time.
Anyone else thinking about this?
It feels right to shake up CBG
It’s been a few months since the last one and the holidays are coming. Wait they did shake up a few of the incompetent last week!
What's the latest on Nov 18th rumor?
There's a buzz new round of changes are coming ONCE AGAIN to people's manager.
Chapter leads, group chapter leads, delivery team leads are going to have new fancy titles.
Not sure what's the future for associates level 5-7.
Anyone knows what's the new team structure?
Bye bye legacy Baker/Vetco
Pretty clear from the quarterly presentation that the old Vetco at the very least is getting punted
