Some successful and tenured execs were on the chopping block. JM not surprised as possibly headed to retirement, but MG was completely unexpected. P-M coming up next week I heard so this is just the start.

Waters 5 year performance total return against 3 popular benchmarks
The 3 benchmarks are AI, S&P500 and cd’s/treasuries for 5 years total return
AI. 100%+
S&P500. 85%
CD’s/Tr. 15%
Waters 0%
Waters is clearly not a growth company, but stagnant.
May layoffs
Any news on this?
Valued Coworkers Continue To Leave
My LinkedIn feed continues to see posts of good coworkers leaving on the own and the posts are increasing in frequency. CDW leadership is ki-ling what used to be a great company (those days are long gone). Leave now while CDW still means something on your resume.
May 7 - earnings

Anyone have an idea when the falsified data for RTO w/ VDIs will be
Crazy to me that it's been falsely reporting for about 2 weeks now.
Verizon has (Never) in its' history done a layoff in June.
Verizon has (Never) in its' history done a layoff in June.
Normally, a Verizon layoff happens each year during April, and/or October.
If it does (actually) happen, May 7th would be the date; mentioned in the other post.
No Layoffs
A lot of baseless rumours have been posted here. You must be said after today's all hands
interesting
remember not too long ago those BA parties where metamates would brag how much they made? millions being printed for "little work". I do. Who else does ? will they be saved on May 20 th ?
Another DSP day tomorrow.
About 400 more people gone. I guess Shart needs another million in his bonus.
when are they sending meeting invites?
are the sending 15mins impromptu meetings or sending early morning?
Made a mistake joining
My last job was incredibly boring but stable. Bonuses every year, clear processes, you know how it goes. I got an offer from Ford two years ago and I thought it would be a great challenge to break the monotony. Now I'm stuck at a place where nobody knows what anyone else is doing. I miss boring.
Blocked from applying outside my LOB
I heard from a friend about a role in GT that’s currently open. They sent my resume and cover letter to the hiring manager on Friday. He tells them today that the position can only be filled from within GT. I sit in another LOB. Can anyone explain why this is happening?
Meg, hurry up and announce the reorg!
Put us out of our misery!
Underpaid and overworked
That should be Medtronic's new motto.

Finets vs CRG
Why are CRG branch and market managers celebrating Finet recruits? Are they combining?
100% RTO and Layoffs
If im them, I announce both at the same time. People left won't be complaining about 100%
Is anyone going to buy ADM?
It's not a secret the OT is bleeding and drying out the divisions and there going to be another major layoff soon.
I'm hearing a lot of rumors about OT going to sell ADM bu heard SAP and others but is there any credibility to those rumors? is anyone going to buy ADM?
I guess the sale will be happening at the end of the faineance year (this June - start of July)
Finally
Someone at the top figured out Nike is not a Tech company.

Cost Cutting
Wouldn't cutting MW's salary amd other ELT be a great move? Consultants like McKinsey basically run the company so why pay for expensive ELT?
More Layoffs in TPX yesterday
There were more layoffs in the Data and AI org in TPX yesterday. Unsure how many total were laid off but it was more than just the higher ups they said in the email.
Yeah!!!!Another new platform
BD got another new platform to waste money on. Hope, TGS id--ts will be kept out of it if we are serious about any meaningful value from that investment.
Severance question
Has severance remained the same or have there been any changes?
Compensation Accountability Clarity - Elcio
Wow!!! Blamed to managers .
Does anybody know what severance looks like right now?
Or maybe can point me to where I can find that info?
Earnings won’t change layoffs
I don’t know why people think results will make a difference. At AT&T, layoffs happen regardless. Good results, mediocre ones, bad ones, it doesn’t matter. They’re just part of how things work here.
Just to check
We're certain it's done, right?
