Passion or Temper

I have seen the exact same behavior labeled as passion and excused resulting in OWD label and then another person with no issue but some backstabbing feedback claiming the person gets upset being put in NSI for much less to nonexistent behavior.

What you do or do not do is meaningless. They will spin it to get the outcome they want.

PLs- VSP/RIFs can we all agree that most PLs are just there to look pretty and credit off their team’s work

My dept is losing high quality high performing employees. In my personal experience, my PL is an airhead that has absolutely no idea what they are doing. Has earned his title by faking it up the corporate ladder and with our losses they are not capable of picking up the extra work around. Is Centene reviewing the anon employee surveys. This would shed light on a trend that PLs are aweful when it comes to helping us get our work done. I wish these people would be let go of first. Thoughts? State your dept/state

What would make things better for you?

Honest question. I see so much dissatisfaction here. Im one of the dissatisfied too. I know execs come here to read what we really have to say. Maybe we can take a sec to anonymously tell them what would help and see if they actually care to listen and do something. So what would improve your experience at FIS?

Activity tracking expansion

Well looks like this is being expanded to personal lending. The email assured us this will not be used to evaluate individual performance. Sounds like complete BS to me. I’m in position where work isn’t always steady, comes in waves, one week slow, next one busy. I don’t think I like what this means for people like me.

Any experiences with this anyone would like to share?

Innovation tu-ds

Nike Innovation has perfected a remarkable process: take an exciting idea, overcomplicate it, poorly position it, leave it half-finished, and then ceremoniously dump it on Inline’s doorstep.

“Here you go, team. Innovation!”

Except it isn’t innovation. It’s a tu-d wearing a futuristic PowerPoint deck.

The concept is incomplete. The consumer story is vague. The business case is missing. The execution is barely house-trained. Yet somehow, everyone stands around admiring the bowl and congratulating themselves on the flush.

Then Inline gets handed the plunger.

They have to clean it up, make it manufacturable, explain why anyone should buy it, and somehow turn the whole steaming pile into an actual product. When it struggles, Innovation can conveniently claim that Inline “didn’t protect the vision.”

What vision? The one circling the drain?

Nike Innovation doesn’t deliver finished solutions. It delivers Innovation tu-ds™: expensive, poorly positioned droppings packaged with buzzwords, dramatic renderings, and absolutely no toilet paper.

Just Flush It

Air Conditioning cut?

Am I the only one who has noticed that the Webster, NY buildings feel warmer this summer than they did last summer? There is zero cool air movement in some of the labs and some of the cubicle areas. One lab in particular, which we used to call "Ice Box," is now "The Bahamas." It is literally that hot in there.

Stop outsourcing recruiting LM

LM has outsourced recruiting and it is the worst experience ever for qualified applicants. Here is the deal..you apply for a job like sales or claims. You get an email from a recruiter with a name that suggests they do not live in the US. You think, is this a scam? Decline the interview. After several rounds of this apply, get email from rando, you decide to check it out further. This is even worse. Your phone interview is with someone supposedly calling from Massachusettes, which they are not. They are in India or the Phillipines. They barely speak English. No nothing about sales or claims culture. And these people are the ones screening you and moving you on or not to the next step, which takes way longer than it should. Sad what recruiting for US companies has become. I will no longer apply at Liberty Mutual.

Employee NPS Survey

Thoughts on why the employee survey is going to be near end of year. Is it because we’ll be significantly smaller than the last one? Thoughts from those that will or will not complete the survey and why. I believe the results should be available to all employees to view including ALL verbatim comments. Thoughts?

It is just AVGO or all the companies su-k these days?

Mostly asking folks who are no longer in VMW/AVGO anymore.

We all complain how bad the culture has become - i can vouch, its pi-s bad and getting worse but nobody wants to leave because we all only talk s**t but love $$ too much and lack backbone/guts to do anytime so would rather wait out to get the package and waiting for the 15th every 3 months for the cha-ching.

I for a change, have been contemplating giving the middle finger and leave but want to get a reality check from honest folks. Should I su-k it up and stay 'cuz its too terrible outside or its not as bad as its feared ? I am no dummy but not Einstein either but always been top performer since I am good at reading the room and learning on the fly.

Has anyone here been affected by an RA and is willing to share their experience?

If you’re comfortable sharing, I’d appreciate hearing about:

  • How many years had you been with the company?
  • What location were you in?
  • Was it a complete surprise, or were there warning signs?
  • Were you placed on a PIP beforehand, or was it unexpected?
  • Were you notified by email, or in a 1:1 meeting?

I think hearing different experiences could help others better understand what to expect.

The Rise of BNY Human Amplifiers

BNY has perfected a new corporate art form: mid level managers who treat LinkedIn like an audition stage and themselves like a microphone.

Every leadership post, every transformation slogan, every intern’s “growth moment” gets amplified instantly — not because it means anything, but because it might be noticed by someone above them.

It’s all about personal branding and no backbone.

On this forum, employees describe a culture where honesty is a liability and silence is survival. Yet on LinkedIn, these same managers gush about leadership, culture, and “the journey,” as if repeating the script might magically make it true.

PLEASE STOP! These are not emerging leaders. They offer no insight, no action, no original thought — just a chorus of upward aimed applause designed to look like emerging leadership.

Come on. You know exactly who I’m talking about – the typical brown nosers and chapped lips sympathizers always rushing to amplify every leadership quote, transformation slogan, or intern level “growth moment.” Call it “personal branding by echo chamber.”

The reality is that the louder the amplifiers cheer online, the quieter they are when it matters — especially in rooms where truth would actually help people. It’s not leadership. It’s survival theater.

Everywhere you look there’s a constant stream of BNY human amplifiers performing relentless positivity, endorsing perspectives they never practice and celebrating changes they privately fear.

I wonder why this has become the fabric of our current culture. Perhaps because at BNY, the safest leadership move isn’t speaking up. It’s saying nothing original and applauding everything.

Echoing power is the only growth strategy that actually works. And as far as the backbone part — Authenticity isn’t rewarded. Agreement is.

Security changes

Does anyone think the change to armed security is strange? They claim the change is due to "employee feedback", but I've never heard any employee request armed security. Is there another reason this change was made that they're hiding?

NRE MLRP

Post here if you are NRE and have your Assessment feedback scheduled before August 15th. How close are you to retirement and what do you plan to do? Is this your first or second in 5 years? If your first and you have more than 1 year to go, is it worth it? Is it time to band together for a Class Action Lawsuit?

Nike prioritizes being agreeable over capable

Over the last decade, this company shifted more and more toward hiring and promoting people who are friendly and easy to manage, instead of those who are smart and willing to challenge the status quo. Anyone who asks tough questions or push for better ways of working are immediately labeled as difficult and punished, while yes-people are rewarded. This is exactly why you hear less debate, see less accountability, and see fewer ground breaking ideas. Maybe it’s time to recognize that agreeableness is not the most valuable trait for a company’s success.

Related note, but toxic positivity is also overwhelmingly present here.

It is sad because once upon a time

Nike was preaching that each dealers to show customer regarding attributes of the Nike product and give one to one service.

In typical Nike fashion, they completely erased what they said and it never existed.
(if you are with Nike long enough, you will see what I mean).

And replacing great Independent dealers who had connection with local community with ROSS, TJ MAXX, Marshall, Costco and Amazon is not building a passage to the future.
Can anyone answer me seriously how Nike can charge a pair of shoes for $200 when you know that it will be in discount outlets above in 6 months?

Since Nike sla-ghtered all quality independent dealers in their hubris while back.
Maybe solution for Nike will be to go out open more independent dealer again.
Or at least try to franchise the independent doors with more freedom when it comes to offering of the products.
Because a store in Bronx, NY cannot be same as LA, CA. And Nike as corporation is not nimble enough to cater different product for different region.

And that is why Nike's idea of one style for everyone in 50 states has failed.

COLLECTIVISM HAS FAILED EVERY SINGLE TIME BUT NIKE IS DOING SAME THING AND PUZZLED WHY COMPANY IS GOING DOWN.

Delete the problems.

Remove all parasite "leadership team" elements.

What value do they add to the operation of the company?

All some of these people do is go to meetings, spam worthless information on "YAMMER", and re-post the rubbish that their friends have published on LinkedIn .

Some of these people are job stage 8 and 9 . . . . How are these positions justified?

Employer engagement survey results

Results are out and they look positive? high 80s for the engagement score. Not what I expected what do you all think? Didn’t give a good rating to my immediate manager , hope it won’t come back to bite me in end of year reviews. Fell for the ‘fully confidential’ lie

People dropping like flys

So when is the experiment going to be over? So much expected for every level of employee except the big wigs, when does it all end? It has to be close, if not months until the end of dsd. Don't let the company fool you, everyone knows the latest rtm experiment is intentional. All the intentional order padding.

Joke?!: KD Earns 2026 Great Place to Work in 11 Countries (July 15th '26)

That must be someone fckng joking, right?? Folks in these locations are reportedly super happy, aren't they: Canada, Costa Rica, Czechia, France, Germany, Hungary, India, Italy, Japan, Poland and the United States. That is so sick given the existing real experience, suppressed by fear in the surveys though.
