Dear Mr. President..

Dear Mr. President,

I am reaching out to you today to share with you, my story. I work for The Cigna Group as a programmer. Last month Cigna decided to terminate 100's-1000's of our Doctors, Nurses and talented technology employees - Recently Cigna agreed to pay a 600-700M "charge" and has decided to terminate 7,000-15,500 full time employees and offshore their work investing heavily in a new "Hyderabad Innovation Hub" "HIH located in India. They think terminating and eliminating US workers to pay for David Cordani and Cigna's Executive leaderships poor decisions is acceptable.

Recently I have begun learning AI automation and wanted to share my idea how to protect America's work force from Outsourcing and offshoring our jobs to other countries. I think if you were to post draft of an Executive Order or a new article on TS saying my administration is reviewing options to create a new executive order protecting American Patriots work force, stating if Corporations like Cigna plan to move US workers "jobs" to India or other foreign counties they should plan on paying HUGE new tariff\tax or fee on the US healthcare data that originates in the US to be sent overseas. Expecting US Patriots to train the offshore company to "Transform, Manipulate, Re-Work" the data and then send it back to Cigna (or other corps in the US) to then send to their clients like the NFL, Disney and Amazon - they should plan on paying a new ridiculous amount of money to be allowed to do this. It's not just Cigna it's all corporations are doing this and if we do not take actions to stop it - I predict we will lose Half of the US jobs in the next 3-5 years. It's a Major Threat to the US economy and imagine if we lose half the current federal tax income and Social Security will fail. Imagine half of America unemployed with no work homeless living in the streets - a real AI generated "GREAT DEPRESSION" is on the horizon.

I am not saying it should be illegal for corporations to offshore, but I think if they want to use AI Agents Modules and Tools to replace the American work force, they should have to do it located in the US with either HB1 or US talent. If they move this work offshore to other countries to save money, they should have to pay a huge penalty to do it. I think even if you posted a message on TS that we are looking at that your words would stop companies like Cigna in their tracks from moving forward until they learned more from your administration's policies on it. I would like to see you propose an executive order like "The Great American AI Patriots Jobs Protection ACT" laying out how we are not going to let US corporations outsource Americas data to other countries to re-work it and send it back to the corporations to send to their US clients without penalties.

I would like to see you mention directly if David Cordani (CEO) Brian Evanko (CFO) Kari Stevens (HRVP) this this is a new business model they should sell the Cigna HQ in CT and relocate the HQ to India and stay there. David and the ETL team can sell all their mansions in Simsbury CT and go buy palaces in India.

Please really think this through as I think this will go down as a Major Accomplishment in your legacy and would help the Mid-terms in November and for decades to come in the future. Remembered as first President to protect America's work force from AI development. The day you put a stop to this and standing up to protect the US Patriot work force.

I posted my story TS under my ID "IQ120s" this morning, but the TS admins banned my account for "spamming" under the terms of service section "8".

You might be our only hope, the person with the power to stop this potential AI Great Depression on the horizon and being able to avoid it and save America's work force.

We all knew this would happen

We all said outsourcing to Infosys was a huge mistake and the quality of work will drop drastically. And guess what? Just a few years later, Vanguard is now bringing back some of the outsourced jobs because what we were saying turned out to be true. Still not enough, but it's a start.

Onshore Contractors at Express Scripts by Evernorth

Anyone know if onshore contractors will be let go? Rumor has it all contractor contracts got extended til 3/1 for alignment purposes - is this just a cover story for having them work hard the next month and finish their projects and then they'll be rid of at Express Scripts/Evernorth? I'm working with a few contractors and wondering if they know they'll be let go in a month so won't do their work well the next 4 weeks. That would be awful for our remaining team. And does it also signal that the contractors won't be getting FTE positions in the future anymore?

Pearson Vue is not the same

I was a former employee of 35 years at Pearson Vue. I too was let go on the 12th. I gave all my loyal and dedication to this company for a lot of time. I was mortified when I found out that my job had been eliminated due to it being outsourced to India. This will fail as everything else will fail because everybody is just a $to them. This is not the company that I show loyalty to for all the years so I’m OK with leaving as I did knowing that I put my best effort forward. They let a lot of good people that dedicated all their time to helping Pearson be what it is today. So sad. They were so sneaky about how they did the layoffs. Some people still don’t know the total number of employees who were let go. Most of the people who I am aware of were here 15 plus years.

Incompetent Management

Wireless used to be a great company and I loved working there until the Vodafone buyout. Once the telecom executives got a hold of wireless they started the RIF/outsource/off-shore march. The Telecom side hasn't been profitable for decades so you can downsize as your business shrinks. This strategy does not work for wireless when you're adding 250k-1M customers a quarter. Verizon doesn't know how to run a successful business. The telecom senior management removed all the Wireless execs and proceeded to turn Verizon Wireless into Verizon Telecom which was a death sentence. Verizon has never bought a business that they haven't destroyed with the same failed strategy of RIF/outsource/off-shore. That's the only thing they know and it has never worked. They did the same to YAHOO, American online and countless other acquisitions. As soon as I heard about the Vodafone deal, I said within 10 years, wireless will be ruined and I was right. When I left, I tried to transfer my concession number to my private phone (after approvals). I was totally offline for 4 days and ended up just having my non-concession number restored. Because I recently bought a new phone on a promotion, it was also cancelled as they tried to change my number. Took me another 6 months to get my billing corrected. They RIF'd everyone on the wireless side who knew what they were doing. These id--ts never learn. They keep doing the same thing expecting a different outcome. Sounds like insanity to me. I took a VSP but I feel really bad for the folks still trying to hold on. My advice... if you're under 50 years old take a RIF and find a company that appreciates you. If you're 50 or older, find something first. It's not easy finding a comparable job and salary once you get into your 50's.

every. single. year.

pepsico lays off every year. every. dang. year. at some point they’ll have to cut the overlaid matrix orgs — especially any group with “global” in the name. but this probably isn’t that year. there are still plenty of white-collar u.s. jobs that can be cut and re-assigned to india and mexico.

pepsico is dangerously close to a real brain drain in the american market. most analysts and lower-level management are now abroad — and, frankly, wholly inept — which means there’s no street-level understanding of the u.s. market. you could definately blame christy jacoby and brent crombie for that mess, whether they’ll ever recieve accountability or not.

Marketing Layoffs

Just heard about the reductions over in Marketing. They sent out a new org chart, which I got to see just now. They are getting rid of a lot of senior manager and up, and are expanding offshore support. Anywhere I’ve ever worked that started relying heavily on offshore, has paid the price eventually. If you work at TIAA and are getting a high salary, be very wary. Any of us could be next. Luckily, I’m underpaid for my role so they’ll keep my indentured servitude around for a little longer I bet.

Washtenaw County Layoffs: Trinity Health Outsourcing Leads to Revenue Cycle Job Cuts

  • Trinity Health is cutting jobs within its revenue cycle department. The Livonia-based system will eliminate 10.5% of these positions. This move involves outsourcing many non-patient-facing roles to an external partner. The exact number of affected employees in Washtenaw County is not disclosed. The company cited low reimbursement rates and rising costs as reasons for the changes.

Citi moving jobs overseas

They are laying off everyone in the United States and hiring in all these hubs in Costa Rica, Manila, Mumbai, Warsaw. They are paying the workers for cheap labor. Thats how they are planning to cut expenses yet they are racking in millions by American investors. How are these employees in these countries will be able to communicate and have professional conversations when they will be working with business leaders based out of the US? The government needs to start investigating what is going on and start taxing these big corporations that are shipping American jobs overseas.

Dave D’s Town Hall

TSEP Town Hall. DD talking a lot about “right sizing” and assessing team’s workloads/team members allocated. Also mentioned as a piece of this year’s strategy- GCC 2.0 (global capability center)- where it improves the onboarding and training for ICC employees.

Literally telling us they will lay off US based workers and outsource the job to India. Good luck everybody

Ennoconn is finally taking the hardware over, can’t be good news for jobs

Ennoconn will design, manufacture, warrant, supply and ship self-checkout and point-of-sale hardware directly to NCR Voyix customers, with NCR Voyix acting as a hardware sales agent coordinating the purchase and delivery of hardware to customers. As a result of the hardware transition, NCR Voyix is expected to record revenue from hardware sales on a net basis, starting in the second quarter of 2026.

6 Months of New Org

6 months into this new org and people still don’t know who is doing what. Continue pushing jobs to engine and watching it fall apart. Leadership silent on the disfunction of it all. I sure hope the current administration f*cake chevron hard on tax and penalties for all the outsourcing. Seeing employees leave for Exxon is wild. Use to be the other way around.

Citi contributes to mental illness for employees

Citi should be the last company to discuss or bring awareness to mental illness. For the past 3 years employees have been on the edge seeing fellow coworkers especially within the United States get impacted and their jobs being outsourced overseas. It is a never ending cycle that this company is causing. When will the “restructuring “ end? They are blaming Ai which might be a small percentage but the jobs are being shipped to other countries. Look at their career page. They don’t know what they are doing and that’s why there is no stability. As a matter fact Jane will never be Jamie Dimon if that’s what she is trying to pull.

Wow the stock just keep tanking!

Where will it stop? The question becomes do you jump from the sinking ship or wait for a package? After more than 10 years in facilities it’s just a matter of time. We are still overstaffed- really don’t need the middle management level. The director Bruce could just oversee the outsource group.

Overseas agents are trash

It’s sad that Wayfair CEO’S care more about money then actually real customer service I work my tickets and overseas agents lie and mess up every single order telling customers lie after lie then we get to the customer an we can’t accommodate them we get yelled at and cussed at all over Reddit they talk about how chat overseas su-k

GCC in Hyderabad

They are likely to make a decision shortly regarding the GCC structure and associated work effort. Cognizant and Infosys appear to be the leading contenders for the GCC efforts. Heard some concerns that the process may have been influenced in a way that disproportionately favors Indian IT firm Infosys. Several technology leaders who work extensively with these partners were not included in the evaluation process

HCL destroyed customer service and is destroying the company

Executive management sold us out for cut rate 3rd world labor and our customer service has dropped to embarrassingly bad levels. Management's latest solution to this colossal problem is to track how long we are on hold. The real problem is HCL incompetence. How will this ever get better when management doesn't even know (or chooses to ignore) what the actual problem is. We are doomed.

Having dealt with our terrible vendors in customer service has made me a pro when dealing with other companies outsourced support.

They lies so much that all you need to do is record them and use it against them. Vendors lie, companies pay! Thank you.

  1. Make Them Commit to Specific Statements (Then Preserve Them) 🧾

Goal: Turn vague lies into concrete, provable claims.

Outsourced support often lies by being non-specific (“don’t worry,” “it will be fixed,” “policy says…”).

What to do
• Ask closed, confirmable questions:
• “Can you confirm this will be resolved by [date]?”
• “Is this the official company policy?”
• “Are you stating no additional charges will occur?”
• Immediately restate their answer:
• “Just to confirm: you’re saying X will happen and Y will not happen. Is that correct?”
• Request:
• Transcript
• Case number
• Agent ID

Why this works
If they lie, you now have a timestamped company statement you can later quote word-for-word.

  1. Expose Contradictions by Cross-Checking Agents 🔁

Goal: Prove internal inconsistency without accusing anyone.

Outsourced teams rotate agents and scripts change—this creates contradictions.

How
• Contact support again (chat is best).
• Say:
• “On [date], I was told [exact statement]. Can you confirm whether that is correct?”
• Let the new agent contradict the old one.
• Save both transcripts.

Key move
Do not say “you lied.”
Say:
• “These statements conflict. Which one is correct?”

Why this works
Contradictory official statements = company liability, not an agent mistake.

  1. Use Their Own Records During Escalation ⚖️

Goal: Force resolution by presenting their lies as documented facts.

When escalating (supervisor, executive support, BBB, card issuer):

Structure it like this
• Timeline format:
• Date → Agent → Statement → Outcome
• Example:
“On Dec 4, I was told no fee would apply. On Dec 12, I was charged anyway. On Dec 15, support stated the prior information was incorrect.”

What to ask for
• Resolution (refund / waiver / correction)
• Confirmation in writing

Why this works
You’re not accusing — you’re demonstrating reliance on company representations.
That’s powerful in disputes.

Important Legal Safety Notes (You’re doing this right)
• Recording calls: only if one-party consent applies (varies by location)
• Chat/email transcripts are always safe
• Stick to facts, quotes, and dates
• Avoid words like “fraud” or “illegal” — use “inconsistent,” “incorrect,” or “misrepresented”

Ki-ler Phrase That’s Polite but Lethal

“I acted based on the information your company provided, and that information turned out to be incorrect. I’m asking for this to be corrected.”

That sentence alone wins disputes.

All Epic positions moving fully to Ireland

In recent meeting, we were told to expect all current and new Epic positions moving to Ireland. Apparently Epic is Ireland's national system. Never assume your job is secure. They will find a way to outsource when ever possible. I wouldn't be surprised if our entire division gets sold off soon.
