Resigning During PIP: Notice Pay and Future Rehire Eligibility at ExxonMobil

I’ve been placed on a PIP in my very first performance cycle as an experienced hire. It’s been almost a month since the program started, and I’m now considering resigning. If I opt for PIL (pay in lieu of notice), will I still receive the remaining salary amount? Also, if I leave before completing the PIP, would I be eligible to be considered for future roles at ExxonMobil?

ESPP

What happens to the current ESPP balance? Do we get stocks or do we get the money back? My notice date was Sept 2 and last date is Sept 22.
As per the FAQ, if termination date is after the 15th, you get stocks but I am trying to understand will it look at the 2nd or 22nd?

HCSC employee move to Health Spring yet?

I’m wondering if any HCSC employees have moved into a role that directly supports the Health Spring business yet? I don’t mean your team is ‘getting work’ or ‘waiting for access to start working on HS stuff’. I mean, you have onboarded into a role that is directly supporting Health Spring now. Since many of their people have quit and transitioned employees can’t apply for anything for 1 year, I figure HCSC employees are moving into the roles. What is the process like since the systems aren’t integrated yet? Anything odd come up that you didn’t expect?

Is it worth learning a new skill that will get outdated in just for a year or two- certainly not worth the time, money, and health

Shareholders are prospering while staff are ending in hospitals.

PIL

Has anyone heard of anyone that was put on a PIP not being eligible for the PIL if they opt out of the PIP? The person in question was a salary employee if that matters.

Location strategy questions

Anyone know how location strategy plays into union employees/locations? I get it that their current contract has them working from home, but with management being required to come back, it would stand to reason the union would follow. And the union employees locations are not part of the location announcements we've heard.

Also wondered how the Frontier acquisition fits into location strategy. Seems like some major disconnects

No need for sarcastic or ignorant comments toward any side of the playing field, please.

What happened to this place?

This used to be an amazing place to work. Now, you can feel the fear every day. People whisper, avoid eye contact, and no one wants to stick their neck out. It’s exhausting just being around it. I think full RTO would cause me to quit just so I can avoid having to deal with that throughout the whole week. Could be just my location, though.

Best of Belk

Anyone else receive “Belk of Belk” for only 3 months while management still has the 30% discount? The only explanation I’ve heard is it’s a “new program” this year. So, let me get this straight. The associates work their @sses off for a year then only get the 30% discount for 3 months?! Make it make sense.
