As the market rips higher $T just sits there flat or red

Every major index is at all time highs, and AT&T can’t even catch a tailwind. The stock is a DOG, and nobody’s buying what Stinky’s selling. The Street has zero confidence in this leadership team or their “strategy”

Face it, this stock stanks.

My Prediction, Gut Feeling Only

A bit more than 15% cuts across the board. Every team is affected.
The total will be just shy of 20K.
They will have another round in Q3 2026.
The stock will go up. Our ability to grow revenue will go down.
This is just my gut feeling, I am not basing this on any insider information.

IMO hits all time high in Canadian dollars

Looks like the shareholders are OK with Imperial Oil. I guess from a shareholder perspective, the company is doing OK.

Employees don’t want it to be like this too. After all, our pensions are tied to the company, and some of us will still get their salary from this company.

Don’t want bad for anyone, so happy to see that the stock price is going up.

New round of takeover rumors?

I saw this today via a Google alert.

"Market attention recently turned to ongoing reports about DXC exploring strategic alternatives. Some analysts have noted renewed takeover interest from private equity groups, which likely stirred price volatility and new speculation about its true value."

Hope you’ve got your life vest on,

It’s pretty clear that there is a direct correlation between the company turning its self around and the non viable employees being thrown over the rails.

That there is a direct correlation between the stock price and the continued turning of the ships heading.

The Farther it turns, the more employees that then go overboard, the greater the stock price..

Looks like the business world, likes what Kate’s doing!

Looks like the internal folks are losing out to the mercenary contractors.

You know the people who get paid for their results vs those who get paid to be a demographic..

What are you all thinking about this?

If really talented CEO should not choose layoff to show money

He needs to guide the employees how to increase stacks value and how to increase customers to come VZ network

Layoff and show money as company growth any one can do for that we dont need talented people normal people can do this

5 years in the captains chair and 0 value added

It’s been five years since John Stankey took over as CEO in July 2020, when AT&T’s stock was around $23 a share. Since then, it’s dropped as low as under $15 and today it’s barely above where it started, roughly $24.

Five years. Billions in spending. Countless reorganizations. Massive layoffs. Zero value returned to shareholders or employees.

How does this guy still have a job? At what point does the board finally admit this isn’t working?

If this is what “leadership” looks like, it’s no wonder morale and performance are at rock bottom. The numbers don’t lie it’s time for real accountability.

Fiserv to be acquired?

Lots of buzz on this or they might end up selling one of the two - Merchant vs Financial - lucrative stock price!!! save the ship from sinking while Franky and his gangsters sip some luxurious wine, watching sunset from his beachfront villa , laugh it out on hard working associates who are about to be RIFd big time !!! What a shame s**ky Franky

Stock price

Under 63 today. Everytime the stock gets a little love and hits around the 72 mark, it falls back down to below earth. Market is at an all time high while nike is reaching 5 year lows. Unbelievably horrible performing stock. When will this change? The days when it hit 170 seems like a lifetime ago.

Starboard Will Cash Out Day One

CAmt be an activist shareholder when your exitsing stock holding will be worth 37% of your original hold! Give them credit, they made money on their investment. And no responsibility or moral obligation to remain inveted wuth this hot steaming mess.
then the stock price drops. and the old guys, well, the old guys who werent always at the big Q, they know whats coming! Grab your popcorn! I know this song!

Steve B MUST GO: The Xerox PREDICAMENT

Xerox's decline has been nothing short of alarming. Over the past year alone, we've witnessed a staggering 59.6% drop, bringing the decline to 80.26% since 2020. Leadership is the cornerstone of any thriving organization, and I'm utterly perplexed by why Steve B remains at the helm amid this losing streak. When I joined the company in 1999, my stock was valued at $70.58; today, it languishes at a mere $3.43.

I've sat through his last dozen or so town halls, and it's clear that Steve has a knack for serving up a buffet of excuses, each one seemingly more inventive than the last. A close friend of John Bruno confided that Steve B's golden parachute is now a financial burden, and no sane executive is eager to captain this sinking ship. Steve's compensation must be recalibrated to reflect the dismal stock performance. John Bruno has yet to add any value, and Louie Pastor seems to be draining the company's vitality, all while we (the workers in the trenches) continue to bail water from this floundering vessel.

The board has been covertly seeking a way to oust Steve, but they're caught in a quandary with this 125-year-old institution—there are no willing successors. And if Steve were to step down voluntarily, the personal cost would be too great for him to bear.

Qualcomm managed to fool everyone for a day

Qualcomm entering datacenter AI GPU market must be the biggest joke of all. Nvidia and AMD are in the GPU market for 10+ years. Even Intel has a data center GPU which nobody uses. Qualcomm comes in yesterday and announces that they are entering the market? The executives managed to fool the market for a day. The stock is sinking back to normal now.

More Shuffling in the C-Suite

Sona Chowla exiting, Chris Corley as well, more conglomeration at the top with people leading combined departments. Tariff pressure coming down the pike and probably foreseeing a dip in stock price so those pay packages aren’t as appealing. But don’t people want to work with an award winning CEO voted on by her Chicago peers?

Stock Price

It's interesting that the removal of the growth cap hasn't resulted in a significant gain in the stock price, nor has it resulted in Wells Fargo buying up anything. We still seem to be in the continual layoff loop we've been in ever since Charlie came on board. Why aren't we growing now? Surely, there must have been people planning for when the growth cap was lifted.
