Will there be layoffs for TSYS employees?
Are the teams that were retained this week considered stable, or is it only a matter of time before they too are phased out?
Should we expect that literally ALL teams within CIO, Tech Development, and Professional Services will eventually transition to contractors or be phased out, or are there certain products or teams that are intended to remain in place much longer... — read more
Transfer to cognizant- what are the options?
If the employee has been with company for 10 years and transferred to Cognizant, do the employee has option to reject the offer? Will FIS pay severance? or will it be considered as at will resignation?
Aim of all of this?
As I understand, they lay off a bunch of technology teams/devs etc. that support apps and products. Who is then going to work on those? Do they purposefully want to ki-l those products and not offer them to clients anymore? Or do they really hope... — read more

For those in sales
It's my understanding out of Jacksonville a new wrinkle comes out next month. If you are not at 85% of calendar Q1 goals 30 day PiP's will be handed out. They will be aggressive in nature. They are trying to squeeze as much revenue performance out of... — read more
Corporate media ignore layoffs
Yahoo Finance, CNBC, Fox Business, Market Watch… none have news about FIS layoffs of employees. Meanwhile there’s news about FIS CEO buying $1,000,000 worth of stock and FIS issuing billions of dollars in debt obligations. Goldman and Wells Fargo... — read more
Possible Insider Trading by Stephanie Farris
I am hearing from people that Stephanie Farris purchased a large amount of FIS stock Monday, the day before the layoffs happened. Has anyone else heard this?
Acronyms
For those of us scoring at home, acronyms can be challenging while reading posts. Would other posters be kind enough to spell out the department names? Please? Not everyone knows every department. It would be a kindness. Having said that, what is CX... — read more

Plan B
It’s important to always keep a Plan B. These days, AI is reshaping many roles across the job market. In the case of FIS, the situation is different—they’re facing internal challenges and financial pressure, which is why layoffs are... — read more
Leadership Cuts
Nothing says ‘role eliminated’ like replacing it. Got the news today, Director+ leadership cuts still rolling (not PS/tech dev outsourcing) but yet intend to replace!
Not transferring
Like others said, it’s just another way to get booted later. Je-king us around.
Laying off while actively hiring
How does that even work? Explain it to me like I'm 5, please.
Alleged numbers
I am hearing from multiple sources that half of FOS was RIF'd along with over 600 developers between the FIS banking core systems.
Town halls
I can't wait for town halls in other departments where the management will somehow explain how this is good for the company and the people, how great of an opportunity this is. They will of course address all the questions submitted by us
Where is the accountability?
Real leaders own their mistakes. Ours just deflect and hide. The people running this place have no clue what they're doing and we're the ones paying for it every single day.
Has anyone who has been bagged out reached out to an attorney?
If it is true that people who decline the offer to move to the partner will not have an opportunity to collect severance package, how is this legal?? Has anyone reached put to an attorney? The handbook is very clear…you are not eligible for severance... — read more
Ask me anything session
Nothing says “ask me anything” like the “organizer has disabled new discussions, and responses” and chat has been turned off by the “organizer for everyone” Sounds like the long-term plan is to completely get rid of professional services
I'm curious
How many are planning to quit rather than being transferred? I see several people mentioning that's what they're going to do, so I'm just wondering how prevalent that is.
Outsourcing to Cognizant is for firing ppl easier, nothing else
In the so called survivor meeting, they claim Cognizant is excellent partner (which is a TOTAL JOKE if you know what WITCH companies are). And they claim scaling up and down will be easier (scaling up is hard, scaling down is easy). They can fire... — read more

Investors unhappy overall performance

WARNING: Cognizant Bench Policy
Cognizant generally allows a 35-day bench period for employees to secure a project, often followed by a 6-10 day grace period or extension notices. Once bench time exceeds 45 days, employees enter a "risk zone" and may be asked to initiate voluntary... — read more

Careful planning deprives employees of severance
