Article on AI productivity with quote from Alixpartners

https://www.axios.com/2026/01/14/ai-jobs-productivity-workslop

"The big picture: CEOs and employers are super eager to reap the productivity benefits of AI — particularly so they can bring down labor costs.

But for now, AI is mainly being used as an excuse to conduct layoffs that are due to other factors, says Rob Hornby, co-CEO of consultancy AlixPartners.
In a survey from his firm, also out Wednesday, 95% of CEOs said they expected to conduct layoffs in the next five years because of AI. That's likely more hope than reality. CEOs aren't yet seeing productivity gains from AI, he says."

Sounds like LHX. He's probably referring to LHX Next!!

Look the past CEOs on Google Images.

John Legere: Decked out in various magenta-dominant clothes.
Mike Sievert: Wore magenta-dominant clothes on occasions.
Srini Gopalan: Would not be caught dead wearing magenta at all. Only if it is the company logo will you find it on him. Wears predominantly black.

Very telling of where the company is at now.

RSU award for JW

There once was a CEO named John,
A puppet whose strings were well-drawn.
With ninety-six thousand RSUs in his clutch,
He weaseled and bowed to Exxon’s soft touch,
A puppet rewarded for deeds that were done.

2nd, 3rd levels are unnecessary……

They have no authority to do anything. Many came up from craft years ago. But things have changed. There’s a lot of room to cut payroll. The irony is that the azz hole that created the problem is now the CEO. When is John Stankey going to be held accountable for his incompetence?

Trump Meeting

Trump's White House meeting of oil execs on Friday to discuss Venezuela just showed the massive difference between Exxon and Chevron. For starters, Chevron's CEO didn't bother showing up, which was an absolute disgrace. Second, when the press was admitted into the meeting, Exxon's Darren Woods articulated the Venezuela challenge clearly and articulately, while Chevron's inadequate proxy of Mark Nelson only wanted to thank the Trump administration, not present to the world what was needed.
It just further illustrated that Chevron's leadership is second rate compared to Exxon, who play chess while Chevron tries to learn how to play checkers.

Overseas agents are trash

This place is making me hate my life.

We are all just pawns in this RTO bs game designed to make people so miserable they quit while also propping up real estate portfolios of black rock, Stankeys overlords. He has no original thoughts or ideas. He just does as he’s told to do, and the board is complicit. This company is just about dead, and Stank is the most commonly hated CEO in the world. Nobody believes in him. He’s proven time and time again that he is nothing but a loser with his buy high sell low tactics. He’s burned billions and needs to be held accountable.

From with inside Boeing what’s people’ feelings about the CEO?

I was unfortunately forced out of the company before the current CEO took over. I no longer follow Boeing so don’t even know the CEO guys name. I feel that it was a blessing in disguise that I was forced out. The toxicology of the group I worked in was a 5 out of 5. There was so much backstabbing or blaming people behind their backs I was surprised that any work actually got done in this group. This was under Dave Calhoun regime.

I was also shocked, not really though to lean a person would be smart to join the Federal Witness Protection Program beforehand if they decide to become a Whistleblower at Boeing.
I’m glad to be out of the Boeing Mental Institution. Life’s been great since.

CONTRACT

Quit your whining! Late 1st, 2nd quarter 2026 VZ will be hiring back employees layed off through the various contract firms. CEO clearing the books…..not the network! Mark my words! They know good employees will come back running for higher paid jobs without benefits. Mark my words.

Place your bets… is Wael still the CEO at the end of 2026?

New year predictions…?

  • Wael runs away
  • the board finally reins Wael in
  • Wael’s plans for more decimation of the company stop
  • We do an about face and start acquiring other businesses
  • We decide to only become a trading business like Vitol
  • Wael finally takes a bet

Place your bets!

Still blame Hans and want change?

ppl on this board have been consistently blaming Hans for years. Now what? This new CEO will do RIF after RIF. No more VSP, just R-fu--ing-IF. Verizon won't be turned around, for sure.

Now what? Blame the new CEO again?

Next round: 1 week for 1 year. lol

Stankey Home Alone Show

Did everyone see the email John Stankey sent us this Thursday morning? There is a video link of him showcasing AT&T's accomplishments this year and imitating Home Alone at the same time.

How on earth does the CEO of a major Fortune 50 company have time to film and act for this stuff while RTO-ing to an office 5 days a week.
