Tone deaf as ever. Sure they may be hyped if they ever saw any of it.

Expectations?
What are people expecting to happen in the coming months. With new CEO and next earnings call do you think there will be layoffs and changes.
Earnings Call Preditions
5 days until 2025 earnings call.
Will we get 2026 store closing announcements?
Any other surprises coming?

Questions are almost always asked and answered at the end of these calls.
What do you expect from earnings?
I'm prepared for lots of bad news, but we'll see.
Why did they move earnings?
The call was scheduled for the 19th but it's the 31st now. Anything to do with layoffs?
Non-Timely 10K
So the brain trust didn't hand in their homework and asked for an extension to file their year end numbers. I'm sure the numbers are great, and they didn;t lie through their teeth on the earnings call.
Rawulls Morgan Stanley B4ll today
Wul talking more b4ll today. Says Employees are great but doesn't says he doesn't pay them. Says his going to turn around the share price or break the company up.
Next is investor day in June, buys him a qtr. Betting all his hopes on Hogan and AI generating loads of SAAS revenue.
Hopefully, we can deliver the quantification of the message and sell the message and get the message received and people buy the stock and the stock goes up. If that doesn't happen, I know there's breakup value here that's above and beyond where we have today. And it's been public. We've had different suitors and they've leaked stuff.
The breakup value is there today. I'd like to get it to a different level. I'm not saying never, but I am saying today, I've got great assets, great footprint, great people, great trajectory, great direction, and I want to give our people a chance, and we're generating cash. we're going to stabilize the revenue profile. And I think Investor Day will be a great day to show how that picture really frames out. But I'm also a realist. If the play doesn't work, we're going to change the play and how to get value for all of us as investors if we have to change the play
2025 Earnings Call - Pharma Flop
It’s my bet they only supplied Pfizer during the pandemic cutting off dr-gs in phase trials, ki-ling the dr-g programs wholesale. In other words, destroying their sales pipeline, alienating researchers, blowing up trust. No wonder they don’t need the Lamar site for the foreseeable future.
Where’s Stephanie?
No show at the sales kickoff, sorry commercial summit in Orlando. Nasser Khodri doing all the talking. Stephanie relegated to a 2 minute video measage at the end of the keynote session. Apparently she really wanted to be here but it wasn’t possible because she has to do the earnings call tomorrow. I guess the FIS private jet must be out of service, along with all motorised transport between here and Jacksonville…
Earnings Call Predictions
Does anyone have any thoughts going into the Earnings Call? This will be the first time Amit presents in front of the investors.
Any idea on SBG layoffs this Feb?
Does anyone know if there will be any layoffs in the SBG , considering that it’s one week now after the earnings call?
Likelihood of bonuses?
I came from the Splunk side, where company bonuses were often. With the most recent earnings call and stock dip, what is the likelihood we receive?
Earnings Call
Reading between the lines in the call, it sounds like we’re in for a big headcount reduction.
Layoff Rumors Continue
Since November, there have been persistent rumors of a significant layoff, with Boston CG frequently mentioned as being involved. Nothing ultimately came of it following our November earnings call, but the rumors resurfaced later, with speculation that decisions were finalized by mid-January. This week, our CEO shared a company-wide video stressing that the next 90 days are critical, which would carry us through the end of tax season. Beyond that, the outlook is unclear.
Morale among the ICs and M2/3s I’ve spoken with is low, even outside of MTV HQ. There’s constant pressure to move faster while priorities shift rapidly, and leadership has increasingly been framing Human Intelligence HI as if it were a newly discovered idea and the act of thinking.
Why was the earnings call pushed out?
Any ideas?
Or am I just starting to see issues everywhere?
First impressions of our new CEO
Post here. Looking forward to how he does at the February 19th earnings call
Alfonso’s transition indicates more cuts, especially VCG?
Why I feel so unnerve with Sampath’s leave, plus what Dan said at the earnings call :(
Big layoff coming very soon?
Is it just another rumor or is it coming? most likely to be shared at earnings call if it is a fact.
$5 Billion reduction in OpEx
During the earnings call, Dan & company stated that they will reduce OpEx by $5 Billion in 2026 (including the 2025 layoffs).
Let’s say laying off 13,000 employees saves $2 billion a year. Where will the remaining $3 billion come from?
Layoffs this week
Happening this week, could be as many as 200 heads, doing it same week as earnings call, will be announced as a restructure charge, likely effective immediately or with extremely short notice once you’re notified, good luck
Transcript from Dan on 1/30/2026 earnings call
And noncore areas that are not aligned to growth, including legacy areas are being significantly reduced and/or eliminated and that includes areas such as business wireline, nondirectional products, technology as well, wholesale, legacy copper and voice platforms and even projects with too long of a payback. So the team has done a great job in finding unit cost efficiency as we build both in wireless and in fiber, cost for prem pass, et cetera. So there's a lot of good work being there, and that helps us get to a lower CapEx envelope, but we're very focused on being very efficient with our capital deployment this year
Earnings Call
Thoughts?
Townhall Today
Today we have a townhall meeting that is 30 minutes long, every other townhall we have had was always one hour, I am kind of concerned, but I also know Centene has their earnings call February 6th and if that goes badly, I am positive we will see more layoffs.
Thoughts on today's email?
What do you think? Compared to the past emails? After the earnings call?
My AVP told me to Exercise my options today but I was not able to.

Q4 '25 Earnings
Looking forward to the earnings call. Can we reach 600k customers loss in a year? Blows my mind that failed leadership is not held accountable. Maybe we can have another Kevin Hart commercial where VZ leadership laughs at the competition who are taking all of our customers.
Layoffs?
After the earnings call - you could see this coming- heard from some marketing folks that that theyre getting let go
Dan's Comments on Downsizing (VZ-Q3-2025-earnings_call)
“Aggressively sunset or exit legacy businesses”
Timestamp: 0:19:06 to 0:20:17
“While we narrow our focus to invest in key growth areas, we will also aggressively sunset or exit legacy businesses where we don't see a clear path to profitable market leadership. We have a large opportunity to unleash meaningful margin improvement by doing so, and we will talk about this in more detail in January.”
“Divest and exit legacy businesses”
Timestamp: 0:28:31 to 0:29:35
“We’re going to do a hard look at portfolio rationalization and divest and exit legacy businesses where we don’t see a clear path to profitability.”
“Simpler, leaner, scrappier business” and “aggressively reducing our entire cost base”
Timestamp: 0:17:56 to 0:19:06
“We will be a simpler, leaner, and scrappier business. This work is overdue and will be multi-year and an ongoing way of life for us… We will fund these investments by aggressively reducing our entire cost base.”
“Portfolio optimization”
Timestamp: 0:43:32 to 0:44:19
“We have parts of our business that are costing us billions of dollars of margin, and I think we can think much more clearly about how do we invest in growth areas and divest or exit those that are not that for us. We'll spend more time on that in January…”
“Everything is on the table for us”
Tony Skiadas CFO – Timestamp: 0:46:32 to 0:47:12
“We're looking at everything, and everything is on the table for us. It also entails being very efficient with our capital spend.”

The real bad stuff will be in the 10Q, which is due on Sunday
The happy-talk non-GAAP will be left out of the formal earnings filing, and we'll see how bad it really is. It's due 40 days after quarter end, which is Sunday. They will wait until after market close to do so.
