All I ask is why? why are people still completing this and participating in this pompous management scheme? They don’t care about employees so why are you still participating in their bull cr-p? All it does is placing a target on your back to be RIF’d next.
RIFed today - co workers as well
A few C14s in my team were RIFed as well as a C15. We were under Ross Callan. Offices impacted were Delaware, NY, Texas, and Florida.
Day after the earnings call. Classic.
It's bad enough she ruined Careers, now she is ruining my retirement fund
When will this woman suffer the consequences of her actions?
Stock is tanking today. Normally, after a big RIF, the stock market reacts favorably.
She is TOXIC.
Gail or any of her flying monkeys that read this - STOP, just stop your greed and corruption is beyond even the great COVID scam.
50% RIF Coming to Atlanta
Close to 50% reduction coming to Ravinia. Some will be forced to move to Bellevue or Overland Park. H1B’s first to go. Only critical teams will remain at Ravinia. All others will be let go by end of Q2. Get ready.
April 15 RIF
Any chatter about which teams will be impacted?
Take the VRIF or hold out for the RIF?
Which would you choose? I'm not sure how much truth there is to the rumor that severance goes away after Chapter 11.
Layoffs comming near you shortly
Just got off the phone with my AD and I was told April 23rd there will be a 10% RIF across all departments within Verizon. They are going after highest paid workers now NOT based on your PAD or time served in the company. My AD wanted me to help develop a plan to put into play with the reduced staff starting May 24th.

Once upon a time an employee
In management hogged his or her seat for almost decades.
In times like these , where the stock price is not moving and hovering around at a standstill, why is management still hogging their seats with over 3 years
. There should be a constant annual churn if you are not producing just like our top
Employees were let go in RIF. There has to be a specific management level RIF as well
.
A post on LinkedIn shows Nokia and Ericsson (VZ equipment suppliers) are riffing lots of people due to lower spending on their products.
The network is being allowed to degrade while sociopath's are filling their pockets. US middle class is being gutted.... Way to go bootlicking middle and upper management!
Anyone one else get nervous on Sunday
I'm always worried about going back to work on Monday. Always wonder if this is the RIF week. I can't be the only person feeling this way.

February commission payments still not done
EMEA commissions statements are typically ready on 6th-8th of the payment month. January looked like an outlier, being the 9th. However, as of 10th April, there is no statement for February.
So, what happened:
- The comms team got RIF'd - unlikely
- It's just a bit late - possibly
- Something more sinister is going on in EMEA linked to the RIF - probably
Lack of respect for employees by Oracle - the gift that just keeps on giving.
Down, down, down! Layoffs won't help you Oracle!
Even with all the layoffs in the last 6-7 months, ORCL continues its downward ↓ trajectory.
Stock was trading at $296.62 on the day I was RIF'd. It closed today at $137.86. LMAO!
Severance will disappear after Chapter 11
Just remember when Chapter 11 hits and severance goes away you were offered a VRIF when you are walking to your car after a IRIF hits you.
Part of previous RIF, never returned laptop, still got severance
Random post, but to anyone wondering/concerned if you don't return your laptop in time or are like me and forgot (for good reason and not on purpose, long story and health issues), I still got my severance pay (shrug emoji). Just realized I still had it and thought I'd share
So long Schenectady jobs

GE Vernova, formerly a part of General Electric, spent $70 million to buy a distribution center in Rostraver last month, adding to the Massachusetts-based power generation equipment manufacturer’s strong Pennsylvania presence.
Westmoreland County property records show GE Vernova subsidiary GE Renewables Grid LLC purchased the more than 700,000-square-foot property from Gordon One LLC.
GE Vernova, which is headquartered in Cambridge, Mass., was created when General Electric split into three companies in 2024.
GE Vernova did not immediately respond to questions about its plans for the property along Finley Road known as Amcel Center Two. The company leased about 150,000 square feet in the building prior to buying it.
It all makes sense…
Pushing out our restricted stocks to the end of year is a chess move.
If they don’t issue them, they don’t need to pay them out when the next riff happens.
Fu--ing a.
May 7th or 14th
RIFs May 7th OR 14th
“Thinking about” volunteering for the next RIF? Too late, a--hole. You could have saved someone.
Lotta hot air and a whole lot of inaction. “Thinking about” volunteering (some people are trying to stay, while you have to ASK to be let go?) does nothing and earns you no points among the rest of us. You say the same sh-t every RIFmas and continue to hog 1 more headcount for a job you don’t even fu--ing need.
Wondering how individuals were picked for the RIF list
Has any else heard those skip-managers saying that they pretended that they aren't aware of names before the RIF event. How can someone in HR completely segmented from the department in a large company make decisions about the individuals in their reporting structure without consulting that skip-manager for a list. They already have been made the list individuals that they can let go and still function in the months before these RIF events. In today's world, no decision is made on the roll of a dice or in a vacuum.
Why cannot managers or directors own up the their decisions and state you're too expensive to move forward and we have to let you go instead of making up this silly story about "they didn't make this list"???? Letting experienced employees go that have attempted to build a career with the company for loyalty ( or good team ) reasons instead of job hoping to build your salary requirements is a sad culture to be in for sure!
They still have a well paying job, getting a raise and RSUs moving forward for trimming the fat so own it.
Am I the only one that thinks this way?
Did anyone land a new role within Citi or outside Citi after the RIF?
part of RIF in Jan, but the job market seems very bad at this point. Did anybody get a new job recently? how are the interviews going? anyone who can share recent experiences in job searching?
Q1 Results?
Has anyone heard any numbers for Q1 yet? I’ve heard they weren’t great, but no details.
Also hearing of a RIF mid April. But I always take that with a grain of salt. Just curious if anyone here has heard any rumblings?
Re-Joyce count down...
Well, that was fun, more value of the company obliterated in less time then you can chat the GPT. So many mistakes and fumbles...
Countless bad hires
Endless RIFs
Missed Quarters after Quarters (more like Y/Y misses)
Unlimited amount of Fuchsia bad fashion purchased
Mediocre acquisitions
Not retiring but got the BOOT
No longer the all female C-Suite bunchy bunch
Woke beyond belief
Endless RIFs (again... and again..) ± 1,000 people let go or MORE
Hustle in the Bustle
Off Shored Jobs - ±850 or so or MORE
6.2Bil of Value Reduced to 1.9Bil of Value
Precipitous Stock drop - 56% (or more) in two years
Endless more RIFs
Did I say terrible HIRES?
What a legacy, like a pinnacle of a legacy, like an empire of dirt or sand in the Sonoran desert.
At least she learnt how to spell AI
LOLOLOLOL..... Later!
Can someone please sum it up?
I read so many posts here and still have some questions…
- Those that were riffed were given until June 30th to work and then get severance package.
- Those that were rebadged have 12 months contract?
- Does the pay remain the same?
- Do you keep the same insurance?
- Do you keep vacation/sick time?
- If you decline to be rebadged, FIS will take that as voluntary resignation so no severance package…when do they consider the last day?
Layoff and FMLA
So, they are using RIFs to specifically target FMLA and people on Disability.
APRIL 16… BE READY IN NAM
Got to know from multiple sources that a major RIF is going to be announced on April 16.
MI= MN + CNS
New leadership is preparing list.
Please comment if you have more info.
NI no idea
Volunteer for next RIF?
I am likely planning on resigning from my position sometime soon (partially because it’s become a nightmare and also due to a family issue). Is there any harm in volunteering for the next RIF? I see many dates on here (April, May, June, etc.) I don’t know if volunteering for the next RIF will make my already tense situation at work even worse. If I am going to quit, I would hate to do it too soon and miss out on a severance package. Thoughts?
Next big round
RIF end of May off the books end of June.
Most warn notices still have projected dates lasting till June 2026
There are enough warn notices that are circulating (state wise) that show execution dates ending till june 2026, so this is not yet over and hence no official communication of all things done - even VP+ who are trying to calm the waters are doing just that - calm the waters, but the sharks are still circling and the reports of 30K with only 12K executed with respect to RIF shows that a larger cut is coming. You bosses have lied to you before many times and are still lying!! If you are not out yet, you are still at risk - 18K is 10% of the current workforce and that is a large risk especially for people over 45, people at IC level with higher pay, people in SaaS/OCI, Sales are almost always risky, but app support is bad now.
Docusign
To those who got riffd, Has anyone had issues with Docusign?
New RIF day at FIS sounds like...
the opening number to a musical. The Pajama Game (Google it, youngsters) was a musical about employees attempting to negotiate a better contract through their union. The Pajama Game was a musical comedy. This is a musical tragedy. Billie Eilish could do it. This is the theater of the absurd.
New RIF day for those not moving to Cognizant
August 31st.
FIS either realized their mistake in record time, or need additional time to line up a buyer.
Great Press Exposure
Lots more news articles and post views generated about this RIF than the total AI tour. Great marketeering.
Add 10k more evangelists to promote the company at their new employers and it’s a total success.
When do companies fail? Too much debt? Negative cash flow? Or when the customers don’t believe they will be here next year?
Ambetter RIF
Have you guys heard of any RIFs happening in the ambetter marketplace LOB?
NA Deal Desk/DM/Contract Specialists/Whatever the name is now...
Who has been RIF'd this round or over the last several months? I'll go first. I was in October...anyone else? Any whispers about what's next? First they combined DS/DM roles...then they added extra layers of Sales Help and Deal Desk...so they combined essentially four roles into one, no extra pay, less headcount, and now they are just shoving it all to AI?
Anyone on Maternity or Medical Laid Off?
I’m just curious if there was anyone laid off while on maternity, paternity, or medical leave?
Heard stories of someone who wishes they took their full leave and was RIFd anyway, but anyone truly at home with baby and got a call!
California in-office worker and WARN not given
I was Rif’d today. California in-office employee. I am only getting thru April 10th. I am not a remote worker. How am I not eligible for WARN?
I was RIFd. When do we get the final docs?
I've completed the docusign, providing my non-Oracle email. When can I expect the final paperwork? TIA
