Now that the bonus pay has been posted. Or is it safer to wait till Friday once it hits the bank account?
If we're going to have layoffs in March, why does the Warn Act not have TransUnion listed in their January report?
I plan on giving notice at some point next week. My notice period is 60 days. I'm only going to give two weeks. I know they'll claw back my LTIs that vested within the past year and I won't be "re-hirable", but is there anything else I should be concerned about? Losing the LTIs and not being able to be rehired is a small price to pay to escape this looney farm...
I received an offer today, and I’m planning to meet with my manager tomorrow to give notice. I’m wondering whether a full two weeks is necessary. I want to leave professionally and on good terms, but I’m also ready to move on.
In a notice filed on Jan. 14, the manufacturer of indoor vertical farming equipment said 127 people would be laid off as a result of a plant closure. The layoffs are effective Feb. 27.
Right way to lay off: SAS - notice and generous compensation
Wrong way to lay off: WP - no advance notice, no compensation, employees left stranded in war zones

Since they announced the layoff at 3pm on Weds, and laid everyone off by 2pm Thursday, wouldn’t that violate the WARN Act? Don’t they have to give a 60 day notice?
In workday there is a section for notice period. Depending on your title you may have to provide notice of you quit or retire. Mine says no notice. Does anyone know for sure of that means I can retire and walk out the door the same day? Not a question I really want to ask HR.

WARN notice posted for Connecticut yesterday. Do you think all of those people were already notified?
It has been mentioned that layoffs will occur every other Thursday (Off-pay weeks), but someone said it was EVERY Thursday… I guess we will need to wait for later Today to confirm. Has someone been laid off Today in a pay week? Or out of those days?
First off, I didn’t see any new Cigna Warn notices (in NJ) but I realized looking at the 2025 Warn notice that some companies that gave notice in 2025 that have multiple layoff dates in 2025 and 2026 are not on the 2026 notice. Something to consider when searching company Warn notices you may have to look back on the 2025 if there are multiple dates.
Some companies don't keep any employees for longer than a day or two once they've put in their two weeks notice. Other companies only immediately cut you off if you have certain types of data access, security clearance etc.
What does Cigna typically do? Particularly for onshore Band 4 employees in IT.
For those displaced between 9/30/2025-11/1/2025, did you receive a year end performance review? I completed my self evaluation before non working notice but have not been able to get a clear answer if I’d receive a YE.
Anyone know what’s going on in Carlsbad? There’s a WARN notice posted with the state of California for 173 employees in 5781 (ops building) for March. It says temporary layoff, anyone know anything?
They gave us 90 days to find an internal role. This period is with base pay and benefits. Then 3 months severance package.
I'm planning to submit my two weeks notice after my bonus and RSUs have vested and been paid out. Would I still be able to use any accrued vacation or sick time during that two week notice period?
If I don’t get laid off tomorrow (Tuesday 2/3) I will resign on bonus payout day 2/13. I have another job lined up but they are very flexible on start day. I need to give 30 days notice at WF, can my last day of work be Saturday 3/14? Or do I need to work until Monday 3/16?
It’s unlikely that I’ll be laid off tomorrow unfortunately.
What day does the Michigan Landmark market close? Have you guys received notice yet?
I was RIFd a couple of weeks ago. Non working notice until mid to late March.
I did receive an email outlining the rules of my notice period and it said I would receive a “separation package via Docusign” as soon as administratively possible, but I have not received it yet
Can anyone out there who has been RIFd before me, perhaps last year, advise of how long it was before you received your severance package via Docusign?
The trend has been that the actual term date is the last day of the month following notification date.
Are they paying you through February, or was 1/29 the notification AND termination date?
You dont get it!
Even if its within your notice period.
(unless its a retirement)
Plan accordingly!
I am thinking the ISP starts in March? Maybe March 18 to allow 30 days from previous separation? Possible, April.
QA for complaints in SLC got notified today that they would be let go by end of 2027. And in a town hall where they showed a map with SLC not on it for core locations and then just moved on like it was nothing.
“After careful and thoughtful analysis, certain non-patient-facing-revenue cycle functions will be transitioned to a partner. As a result, positions within the revenue cycle department will be reduced by 10.5% across Trinity Health’s national footprint."

Home Depot just had major layoffs. I give it a month before we get a similar announcement.
Does anyone have an idea the final count of folks impacted across the entire layoff period (October - Jan)?
My supervisor asked in our team chat if any of us were located within 50 miles of Orlando. Does that mean we’re either going to get let go or asked to go back in office?
Planning on submitting two weeks notice on the 19th, which would mark my last day sometime in March, after bonus gets paid out. Assuming I don’t get let go immediately and work until my last day in March, would I still be paid out my bonus or is it possible that it wouldn’t get paid out? I don’t think they would let me go immediately due to KT sessions, but wasn’t sure how it would work
Benchmark Electronics will lay off 65 workers. These layoffs will occur in Phoenix. The electronics manufacturer filed a state notice. This notice details affected positions and cut dates. It also explains the reasons for this decision.

A warn notice was issued today by the State of Washington for an expedia, layoff occurring on April 1.
It's interesting we've not seen anything for the t mobile layoffs yet.

My non-working notice ends 2/6 but I noticed on upcoming pay slip dated for 1/30 they paid some of my PTO (60 hours). I had 100 hours left when I was displaced in December, and thought I'd accumulate January/February as well. Should I expect another PTO pay out or did something get miscalculated? Everything thread I've seen on this topic mentioned getting PTO payout after your non-working notice ends but I'm seeing it before my notice ends and it's short. Thanks in advance!
If your director cancelled morning meetings today your org is in the receiving end of the layoffs.
Wells Fargo has announced another round of layoffs in Iowa, affecting 33 employees at the company's Jordan Creek Campus in West Des Moines, with the changes taking effect on March 20.

I'm at a VP position so I am required to give a 30 day notice period. Would this be:
~1 month notice (which is ~30 calendar days)
OR
~6 weeks notice (based on 5 business days per week for 6 weeks).
Do not think for one moment your manager is taken off guard at the last minute.
I would say they and h/r know within 2-3 months ahead of us finding out.
