It seems like for people working at T-Mobile layoffs are not a matter of "if" anymore it is "when" because sooner or later it will be your turn. They like making people work under that fear. All these gimmicky chit and benefits when the ship is... — read more

KOMO News: T-Mobile shutters 7 Washington stores, cuts jobs in fall layoffs at Bellevue HQ

Performance based RSU?
The new 12k grant - Is that just for 2027 with 3 year vesting? It better be every year.
The upward failure
Is this the only company where people somehow fail up? I've watched guys make enormous mistakes, face zero consequences, and then land promotions. At the same time, good employees who deliver get ignored. It's demoralizing, to say the least. Name one... — read more
Did anyone notice?
The WARN notice for the WA layoffs came out of Overland Park. I don't think Ive ever seen that in the 20 years I worked at corporate. Official notices and high level items always came out of Newport. Shows how much the culture has changed, executive... — read more

Mind your business
Why can’t everyone just mind their business? There’s so much drama because everyone hates people more successful than them. If you put that much energy into doing your job you’d be happier I promise.
What happened?
Layoffs were just an occasional thing until a couple of years ago. How did we get to a point where they're now happening every few months?

Was T-Mobile ever stable to begin with?
I joined in 2021 and lost my position 2025 due to a layoff. I came from State Farm. I regret leaving for more money. Has there been a point of time where T-Mobile was even stable. I'm embarrassed to even have this company name on my CV anymore.
I've learned to hate this place
My health insurance is the only thing keeping me here. I have a preexisting condition so I truly can't take a risk with a new company. That's it. The only reason I'm still here.
Cuts are not over

“When someone asks you to lead T-Mobile, you say yes.”
Remember when Srini gave you that line of bullsh-t, when in reality he’s just here to try to complete a merger.
Assume They Are Lying To You
You can assume that whatever they are telling you now will be used against you in three months.

VSPs to be offered this month
Good news! Leadership has decided to offer VSP to the old people (55+) It's time to move into the future and get rid of the old people who don't do nothing.
It's sad but true - numerous people have committed su----es over the layoffs and the non stop lies over the last few years.
I will start by saying I dont advocate, like, support, or agree with su----e. But I also want to say that in my 19 years at T-Mobile since covid, I have worked through management lying to us non stop. I've seen multiple people talked into staying... — read more

Stuck in-between
