At least 10 Medicaid and 3 Medicare let go today

Two people were let go that I know of on the finance side and one on a health plan. Anyone else hearing about this? Are they keeping us quiet while they prepare for more?

Are Case Managers badly needed or are they first on the chopping block?

In order to avoid being let go you HAVE to kiss up. It's not based on anything other than favoritism. Also, your name is on the list at least 45days prior. So, your manager will know if you're being "chopped."

Any news on these? Is it time to head for the lifeboats?

With the stock down around 25% YTD, does Centene now become a M&A target? If so, probably means an even lower headcount, as they try to polish the books.
