There are no roles that can’t be back filled so why not take volunteers to assist in the mission of reducing workforce. Many would take it and be gone already.

Are we in massive debt over HIH? Is that why so many quality people are being laid off? To pay off that debt?

Do you lose severance if you get a job outside of Cigna after you are given your termination letter but before your termination date?

It's happening to more and more people on my team. I have no idea what I'd do in that position, but it just feels so cruel and demeaning.
