September’s layoffs will be fu--ing brutal but don’t worry, Nike’s galaxy-brained leadership will graciously ‘support’ you all the way to the exit, then congratulate themselves for showing empathy.

All over the place… any off boarding tips?
it’s my last week and there are so many emotions.
I’m thankful for the opportunities, sad but relieved it’s over, grateful that I can take time off and figure out what’s next… overwhelmed and afraid of all the unknowns.
it’s a big change. some of my colleagues have shared that they’re “jealous” I’m leaving, but I don’t think they understand what’s really on this side of the equation. I’m freaking out!
those who are leaving this week, what needs to be done for off boarding while wrapping things up?
So many departures!!!
I’m seeing so many sudden departures this week! And everyone appears to be saying nice things about their experience in Exxonmobil….
Are most of these PILs? If so, I know ppl don’t want to burn bridges, but perhaps consider departing silently, so that more innocent ppl on LinkedIn don’t get deceived that this is such a wonderful place to work?
Get Out
When what you hear from the CEO is completely different from what he is instructing his directs to do, it’s time to go.
30 days notice?
Has anyone VP or above refused to give the ridiculous 30 days notice and leave in 2 or “effective immediately.” I’m strongly considering giving 2 middle fingers to these id--ts and just turning my equipment in. Curious as to what the firm can actually do to retaliate other than maybe put on the do not rehire list.
TIS Reorg After USUI
Gotta say, the TIS reorg since USUI has been a bit of a gong show. SMT morale seems pretty rough and are already making exits. Even more concerning is that EMT doesn't appear to be on the same page, which makes the whole leadership situation feel pretty shaky. Escalations don't seem to be landing anywhere meaningful. HR doesn't do anything just there to protect the top than to actually uphold any Enbridge values. Just a tough situation all around and hopefully someone figures it out before more folks head for the exit.
Please, please be today
I'd like to finally move on, one way or another.
KW gone fact
Does anyone know why so suddenly that this golden boy is gone?
I'm quitting tomorrow
I thought about an exit interview, but why bother? HR won't listen. So it'll be a short email and a clean break. No notice. I'm just done.
I still hate this bank
I left almost a year ago, but the anger stayed. Thinking about the years I gave them still makes me want to vomit.
How To Survive At ExxonMobil
- Have an exit strategy
- Dont get baited with gaslighting tactics from old employees. They attempt to trigger you so that they can stay as Good in assessment
- Show meaningful value in your assignments, quantify and use behaviors
- Create a process or system that stands the test of time and provides value
- Dont get caught up in politics, the chosen ones are blessed. Pray that they do well. If you dont get promoted, move on, It just wasnt your time or moment.
- The companys job is to create value, if it cant do that, stock price goes down and we all can get laid off
- Every company is facing the same pressure, find something that makes you happy outside of work.
- High salary, 401k, pension, and benefits. No one leaves a loser after 15 years.
Second Separation email?
Hello - Did anyone else get a second separation agreement email yesterday? It’s been over 9 months so it is a bit odd.
Reddit brought it up too

Is it a scam?
How long are/were given to decide PIP or PIL? 21 days ? Or 7 days?
I saw a post with 21 days listed as the decision timeframe. Some countries seem to be told 7 days. What’s your experience ?
Also, when is your last day on payroll if you choose the PIL? If you are eligible to retire, do you retire the day after you leave with PIL?
NSI ahead of termination date
Anyone get NSI ahead of their termination date?
Has anyone been asked to withdraw their VSP?
Has anyone had management ask them to withdraw their VSP? I'm curious whether the company has approached anyone about staying instead of separating — particularly people with a September 4, 2026 exit date.
Can we request a exit date change?
Can we request to change our date. I have seen some comments that suggest dates moved up or requested a change as well as withdrawing, no information like this has been shared in my department by our leadership. TIA
Elliot Adios
I heard Elliot Management is cutting their losses and moving on from Medtronic to greener pastures.
No Departure Instruction or Protocol/ Procedures Provided
For weeks I have been inquiring with AskHR, local HR and other leadership of when one departing 9/4 can expect to receive ANY sort of instruction on what we are to do, how we are to do it, what procedure to follow on 9/4, etc. and nobody can provide any insight or instruction. The best I get is 'keep an eye on your personal email' or 'on or around 9/4'.
Anyone else experiencing this or the opposite, has anyone received helpful information on what we can expect on our last working day and what protocol looks like?
Poland LAYOFF
What is happening in Poland ? Seems to be another layoff
Is 3m exiting Poland ?
Drew Leaving
Sarah just sent a company email at that Drew Asher is leaving at the end of the year….anddddd discuss.
Repayment of move costs
The company moved me to Midland less than a year ago. If I voluntarily leave the company what will I have to repay? Does the company really collect the move expenses etc? I did sell my house in Houston when I lived and the company paid the closing costs. Anyone have personal experience with this scenario?
The end
I think we are close to reaching a tipping point. For those who leave, be sure to encourage and pull anyone who is good with you after you leave.
Looking forward to being laid off
That's all I wanted to say. Pay me to leave this place and I'll dance out the door.
Are you escorted out right away?
After you're laid off?
I'm Out
Finally and officially. After all these years of dedicated work, I leave with no recognition, no empathy, no real thank you, and not even an opportunity to say goodbye to my team or colleagues or people I knew. Just a simple, “We'll contact you with instructions to return your equipment” and a forced “thank you for your time with the company.” No goodbye. No ceremony. No acknowledgment of working ten years. Just a "log off and be done." WOW. I never imagined I'd be treated as insignificant as I was by management after giving so many years to this company. It honestly feels like they had been waiting for this moment and wanted me gone long ago. But you know what? I'm finally out. And that's what matters now. Overall the company has become more toxic and unpredictable. In retrospect, I'm glad I'm finally gone.
LP Liquidation
Does anyone know how long its taking the firm to liquidate LP's after ISP? My last day was July 2 and I still haven't gotten my LP liquidation. Just curious if anyone that had an LP after being ISP'ed can tell me about how long it took to get the liquidation.
BYE L3
.. I appreciated going out like the ending of an 80s movie .. middle fingers up and walking away. Good riddance!
Exit Math
It is also worth considering the possibility of an involuntary exit in your calculus of exit math and taking a new job. I was within 5 years of full pension when I got the surprise news. About two years earlier I did the math and turned down an outside opportunity because I thought the risk was non-existent. That was after negotiating the gap as small as possible. Companies change, leaders change, you aren’t in full control. Be realistic. The trajectory of Exxon is clear. Act accordingly.
Bye Bye Centene!
Welp! Got my notification this morning. To say I’m surprised would be a lie. I was let go due to a personal vendetta but hey life goes on. I’m actually relieved. Centene is a sinking ship that I’m happy to be off of lol
Is anybody else hoping to get the layoff notification?
That seems to be the only way out of this mess that's even a bit positive at this point.
Never Say Goodbye
Is Jay ever leaving, this is the longest goodbye ever, uhm and very fruitful goldenmacher bank account.
Accept. Address. Exit.
I want to share something pretty simple that I think applies to all of us when we run into problems at work.
When something is frustrating you, there are really three productive choices: accept it, address it, or exit.
-> Accept it.
Not every problem is going to be fixed, and not every decision is going to go the way we want.
-> Address it.
If something genuinely needs to change, then bring it forward . AND come ready to help solve it.
-> Exit.
And sometimes, the reality is that the job, the environment, or the way the company operates just isn’t right for someone anymore.\
2 weeks’ notice—let go immediately?
I’ve heard from a couple of people that when they gave their 2 weeks’ notice, Centene immediately cut off access to company devices but the employee was paid for those 2 weeks and health insurance continued to the end of the month.
Are any people leaders able to verify if this is the standard when someone gives notice? Or is this more an exception than the rule?
Departure Posts on LinkedIn
Departure posts on LinkedIn are again on rise? Is it because of PIPs, people retiring or leaving in droves? Whats going on? All the departees seem to be saying how good of an experience they have had but yet leaving?
At last
Just got my email today.
This bdsm show is over for me now. Good luck, pals!
How many employees left yesterday?
End of month yesterday. How many people left and IRIFed? Anyone left to manage the shop? Anyone with experience and savvy left?
Aaron Gani Gone Today?
Is it true Aaron Gani is out as of today?
