Ringling Bros. Barnum & Bailey Circus Part Trois

We are back baby !!

The Third Digital Transformation is under way. Here are some sights, sounds, & scenes on the way courtesy of the Layoff’s TIAA site:

By July 2025
the overall Accenture/TIAA recordkeeping performance scorecard was flashing red due to missed milestones and other failings.

In September 2025, the TIAA Board was finally made aware of the critical problems with the TIAA/Accenture Recordkeeping partnership.

Let the greatest show on earth begin !

Chief Commercial Officer

In December, CW was exited and the role was eliminated by Hill stating it was to remove layers.

Today, role is reinstated and offered to JE from Walmart and is now considered a vital role and critical to the strategy.

Optically speaking, this is horrible. Leadership never beating the allegations that they are just throwing sh-t at the wall and seeing what sticks.

EH proving he isn’t the guy and must now make moves to set up his backfill.

Layoffs…

If there are layoffs it seems the pattern is that they occur in September or October. Always right before the holiday season.

End the Visa programs- H1B

Microsoft fired 16,000 Americans and then turned around and hired 9,000 workers under H-1B.

Disney fired 250 employees… [and] had those 250 American employees train their replacements under H-1B.

Same with Ford, GM and Chrysler .
We have Americans that are skilled in all these different areas.

The LinkedIn job scam

These are growing in number, so I just thought to warn other people who're as desperate to leave as I am. Be careful of recruiters reaching out on LinkedIn, and if a job looks too good, it probably is. Check the name, the phone number, and the company. Sadly, times like these attract many predators.

Huron Consulting Group Concluding Soon

From the ITS newsletter: "The Future Platform Evaluation initiative, led in partnership with Huron Consulting Group, will conclude in early September with recommendations and a high-level roadmap for our future direction. This effort has been shaped through close collaboration between ITS leaders and partners from across SNHU and will provide an important foundation for future decision-making."

Anyone else worried that layoffs are coming?

More Layoffs On the Way & Here’s Why

This Fall, TIAA & many U.S. employers and workers are being squeezed by the steepest run-up in health insurance costs in years, with average family premiums nearing $26,993 in 2026 and pressure building for even sharper increases in 2027. Nearly 300 insurers offering offering health coverage to medium to larger businesses reported a median proposed premium increase of 14% for 2027, according to an analysis of preliminary rate filings from all 50 states and DC. according to a recent KFF survey. TIAA will be forced to ship more jobs offshore to India, The Philippines & Nepal.

Sudden layoff

They suddenly deactivated my account without anyone warning me. I was working on an important project and have a delivery next month. I know there are various layoffs happening in Europe, but usually they warn you before canceling your account. Has this happened to anyone else here? I don't understand if it's a mistake or a layoff.

Redeployment Center

I got laid off almost two weeks ago. I received a personal and work email for a job offer. It’s Employee Installation Representative. It’s for 5 months. It would not mess with my severance. I would get paid what I was making. Has anyone else received an email Iike this or accepted this?

This is your daily reminder…

…that you work for a company that wouldn’t p1ss on you if you were on fire.

A company that thinks it’s fine to have an all hands that unambiguously states that RIFs are happening in the next few weeks, even puts it in writing in a recap email, then does NOTHING, then does not even have enough respect for the human that it sends a follow-up email addressing what they themselves chose to put out there in terms of messaging. Accountability, you see, is only for us peons.

So yeah. Don’t sc--w over your team or the customer but “work to rule”. 8 hours. Don’t volunteer extra work. If you have a legitimate press contact share the email and that there’s been no update.

F@ck Enrique, executive bonuses, and this dying brand.

India layoff

Will Dan lay off the entire Indian workforce, despite its established presence in India since 2000? Many employees appear to have been quietly removed by senior directors and HR. This raises serious concerns about the future of the Indian workforce and the organization’s long-standing presence in the country.

September Layoffs

All the major banks are going to do massive layoffs in September. Many citizens will be impacted. You all must protest!

The CEOs lack morality and they like to eat from the plates of hardworking Americans! and they love to see them go homeless. Some of the CEOs in this country are not even Americans!. They don't give a damn for any of you.

The current government is incapable of protecting citizens. Many jobs will go overseas and many Americans will be replaced by immigrants here in the country. So sad!

This is Layoff.com

Why are so many “leaders” sharing their business lessons here? No Nike leader is listening. Let’s get back to what this forum is actually for. If anyone has real intel on layoffs, reorgs or what’s coming, speak up
