AEST-Manufacturing Engineering Headcount Reduction
We’ve heard rumors of domestic onsite engineering headcount reductions in favor of offshoring work to the KLTC and BTC. Finally heard a real number; a 40% to 50% reduction in onsite engineering at the manufacturing sites by ~2030. Already importing folks from KL and BTC to fill key business team rolls onsite. Soon XOM will be run from Malaysia and India. Prepare your resumes.
NH RIF’s
Anyone on the New Hampshire plans getting the boot?
Are rumours blowing up too much?
Last year, the 10-K seemed to foreshadow a significant round of layoffs, given Oracle’s roughly $2B restructuring budget.
The FY27 10-K, by comparison, indicates about $300M in restructuring costs, and at least some of that appears to be tied to completing restructuring actions initiated in the previous fiscal year.
Am I missing something, or is this year’s restructuring budget much more in line with Oracle’s typical fiscal-year spending rather than suggesting another unusually large RIF?
Anyone know if sunshine health is being affected
Anyone In sunshine being laidoff or heard anything ?
Did anyone receive an email from HCm to update contact info today
Received email to update contact info and emergency contact info. Maybe a sign of upcoming layoff if it was only sent to certain employees
When is the bloodbath coming?
Hearing about big layoffs coming soon- any word from anyone?
So will it be September or December?
So what are we all hearing with regard to the next round.....can we expect the typical fiscal year purge or will they wait until December to give some lovely holiday cheer.....? What're you hearing? Who's out?
Labor Day Cuts?
Are we thinking layoffs the day before our bonus day off?
Centralized Enterprise Operations Team
Merging Sales Ops, Dev PMO, Renewals Ops, PS Ops (x2), Revenue Ops, and PMO into one org is textbook eliminate redundant layers. We should all be watching for follow-on layoffs in 60-90 days, consistent with the pattern we’ve been seeing since Mark B left.
Stop being so vague!!
Please! We are all worried and stressed share what you know! What states? What departments? Any severance? What date are you leaving? You are already here typing so help us all out!
Thank you!!
Layoffs Rumors - What’s Happening in FA
Just heard rumors about potential layoffs in August/September in Fusion apps . It seems like the selection process might involve a review of unvested stocks not performance – anyone have any insights on what that looks like?
Is anybody else hoping to get the layoff notification?
That seems to be the only way out of this mess that's even a bit positive at this point.
No meeting
Logged in this morning no meeting scheduled…..should i take that as a good sign im not getting cut?? I wasn’t eligible for the vsp
Fideliscare NY Marketing
Look like a lot of people in Fideliscare (those who didn’t take VSP) some did not read the part of potential layoff in August and some are nervous.
Another thing some think everything is business as usual yet at the same time management is in meetings. A lot of marketing reps took VSP some leaving SEPT/DEC/MAR
Dell Canada Layoffs
Anyone hear anything about Dell Canada layoffs?
Heard rumours for Friday, we’ve had like no layoffs so far, at least in sales.
No schedule past September 25th
So I can see my schedule but on September 28th it shows no data available and I thought we could see our schedules up to 2 months in advance but I could be wrong. I'm wondering if this means getting laid off in September???
Layoffs
Does anyone know which departments have already been impacted or might be impacted? I've been hearing a lot of rumors, and it doesn't sound good. Has anyone heard anything?
Walmart to layoff more associates in San Bruno
Walmart intends to reduce San Bruno staffing mid to late August 2026. August has traditionally been a favorite month for Walmart to lay off associates.
No big deal, though. San Bruno is the leftover bastion from the failed merger, and this appears to be just more cleanup and wind down. There is some speculation, however, that other locations might be hit, as well. We’ll see as more info leaks.
Customer service advocates
Any CSAs hear anything? I havent seen or heard about any customer service advocates getting hit? Not member services but people who have customer service advocate behind their name on teams? Nearly my whole team has been here over 2 years so idk if they accepted the vsp or declined it. Not sure if any of us will have a job soon
Another "Next Step" Program recently announced
Heard that there was another "Next Step" program recently announced, to start on September 1, 2026 and wrap-up on December 31, 2026. Not sure what organizations are included, but this end date undoubtedly suggests that an RA is being planned for 1Q27. Seems it's also been expanded to include Band 8s (maybe even Band 7s?), whereas the previous one cut-off at Band 9.
Anyone have any more details?
Ambetter
Anyone heard anything about ambetter CM involuntary layoffs?
Department TH Scheduled Mid-September. Does This Mean Department Is Safe?
I’m grasping at straws here so take it easy on me in the responses please. I’ve noticed from reading posts on here that a few departments are having townhalls in August which is when RIF is allegedly supposed to occur. My department doesn’t have any townhalls scheduled until September after the initial VSP separation date and it’s 1 of those choose between 2 different dates type of meetings. I feel as though if we were laid off it would be 1 day only, the option to choose is making me feel as though we won’t be affected by RIF’s. This whole fiasco has been a disaster! I don’t want to dox myself but I work in PHCO.
Stock up 5% today. What do they know and we dont?
More AI mushrooms or incomming LR???
Aug Layoffs
With every region in NAL losing money and LTF being down layoffs are coming this month. The writing is on the wall at this point, but which PSL’s or areas are going to be hit worse?
August doom date
Im not sure if it’s because im not someone whos getting laid off, or it just hasn’t caught up to me yet…..but im wondering where everyone’s getting this august 12th-14th date as the timeframe we’re all supposedly supposed to know if involuntarily layoffs will happen ?I check my emails nearly every hour since this whole thing started and all ive gotten is im not eligible for vsp. Thats it, i see so many posts even on facebook of people talking about what and when their separation dates are. But i get no information, my sup tells my team nothing. I work in claims talking to the providers and do authorizations, so is it just certain departments with this information or are some PL/supervisors more willing to talk?
Anyone hearing about EAcX / MACx layoffs in August?
I’ve been hearing rumors about potential layoffs in EAcX and MACx sometime in August. Has anyone heard any credible updates or know if there’s any truth to it? Also, are people hearing about a specific percentage of employees that could be impacted, or is it all speculation at this point?
RA Looming
People are being cherry-picked from existing teams to form new teams. The decisions are made from the top levels and managers typically don't know what's going to happen. Get ready for another round since IBM bolsters their earnings on cost reduction.

Long List Ready to celebrate the Holidays by J
Hypothetically
How long after a meeting where HR coaches the PL on layoff handling will layoffs occur?
I keep hearing whispers about more layoffs this month
Is this just rumor season, or is something real coming?
Any layoffs expected in August?
Anyone hearing anything about layoffs coming in August? Or will they wait until the normal Fall rifs for the next large round of rifs?
Watch as they surprise us with more cuts next week
I hate this place so much, and I believe this leadership is capable of anything, including that.
Sunday scaries
If it’s going to happen just let it happen already.
Any precedent to whether they do layoffs on Mondays or Fridays? I’ve seen both at other orgs.
Get ready folks, next LR announcement on Aug 13… report clues from beats
PC Monitoring already in place to copy any data… report any suspicious activities and managers behavior here.
Layoffs in EFCC coming soon
A senior reviewer was told that layoffs are expected within the next 12 months for the Central Review Team can anyone verify this?
Can people stop inventing numbers?
Is your goal to make people panic? You don't know what's coming. Unless you're part of the C-suite, you have no idea how many people will be laid off and when. This is all a guessing game, and stating it as fact can only serve to further erode people's mental health through unnecessary stress. Just stop it.
