Will Oracle layoff in 2026?
The layoffs were anticipated to occur in phases, with the first taking effect in October, another in January and the final layoff on June 30, 2026, which is expected to be the final closure date of the San Jose facility

Heard they will be no pay increase this year. Anyone else hear this?

Were there layoffs in care management this week and/or will that area get hit on 2/19?

Has anyone heard rumors about which VPs are going to get cut? If so, that will give hints about what corporate teams are in danger.

I would say they and h/r know within 2-3 months ahead of us finding out.

Any possibilities?

The Metropolitan Opera announced layoffs and salary reductions for executives. A new production for the 2026-27 season will also be postponed. The company is considering selling naming rights to its theater. It may also sell two Chagall murals, which would remain in the building.

Alameda Health System Faces Layoff Opposition

Alameda Health System intends to cut 300 healthcare jobs. The reductions will occur by March 2026. External consultants made these decisions without clinical input. Medical staff and community members reject the planned layoffs. A public session with Supervisors is scheduled for January 26.

At least 16 were cut this week. We were given 3 days notice. Most were in content creation in the zyBooks division.

Wiley is circling the drain. Senior managers are incompetent and clinging to ideas that don't work just to save face. Upper management is trying to shoehorn AI into applications where it doesn't make sense. All while the stock is hovering around a 5-year low.

I heard there were layoffs in rebadged (client to Optum) staff and MPP transition staff. Does anybody know the clients they support and roles and the roles of the transition staff let go?

It would be great to know more. The uncertainty and anticipation are ten times worse than just losing your job today.

I gave up on this place a long time ago. It's just the paycheck, and not exactly one to write home about. I've been working really hard on finding something else. Compared to Amazon, the grass is greener elsewhere by definition.
