...ain't nothing "VP"about the salary. How has this company not yet updated salary bands?
It's not 2008 anymore.
CES keeps adding VPs like it’s collecting failed resumes. This is yet another textbook DXC brownfield transformation: hard at work turning CES into a stinking CESS pool.
Why are there so many new Vice President's, we can layoff 1000 employees to hire more and more VPs at 200k a pop.
I've seen posts over the last few days on a particular VP (won't name names here), and then other posts on TPD and Product....is VBG ok? My impression (arms length, to be fair) has been that VBG had more things to sell and more upside. Am I just overreacting to a few posts here?
Any idea if the VPs were laid off if they will cut into their staff?
Massive reduction in force aligned for June under the code "restructuring". Starting July, company will operate under a completely new model. Won't get it into it here, but huge paring of middle managers (team leaders) and entire functions run under separate teams eliminated. 15 - 20 percent of workforce, to include all levels, VP, directors, IC.
VP said there will be 6 stores closing in the CA region this year. Came down on last STL call. Looking at 3 in the greater LA area, 1 in San Diego and two in northern California. Going to be cutting the stores with the lowest sales volume because they're not meeting sales projections and they're running above cost for labor.
several hours ago our VP in Fusion told it to remaining group of people from NA, IDC, EU locations that it's done and those who are on the call are safe for now.
I've heard of a few such cases where folks were informed by their managers/VPs/SVPs it's finally over. So if you're still here, you made it.
Remember around 2020-21 When a certain VP got fired for letting her son resell Nike shoes in bulk that were purchased on her corporate credit card... I didn't realize she changed her name and is now the CEO of Footlocker. Talk about failing upwards
I’d like to keep anonymous, so I’m not going to mention my GBU.
The upcoming restructuring focuses on removing middle management. If the VP layer is cut while the EVP and Senior Directors stay, the total number of Directors will be reduced to flatten the hierarchy.
Is it true, then list is finalized.. layoffs may start from Tuesday
I wish they gave us more notice before this layoff, maybe 6 months. That would give us time to get our affairs in order and enough time to prove our worth to our respective VPs.
Looks like VPs are starting their exits now. We went from a skeleton crew to barely any bones left. Don’t spend that AIP payout because who knows what the next few weeks are going to look like. So long fellow associates who have been here long enough to remember the good old days when we had real leadership and transparency.
Hearing noise about VPs across the company being let go
Hearing that Jeff’s org is going to get hit Tomorrow.
Did anyone start getting 15 mins invite? If yes, then which VP under Jeff Simon?
Anyone have insight to this?
Something big is coming - VPs are doing non-stop meetings.
What do you think? Looks like undeserving people got promoted to VPs. I've found DR in particular to be hollow and self serving. Has provided no direction and is mostly an empty vessel. Thoughts?
Anyone hear anything?
Hardly anyone sticks at the same place.
So a senior vice president takes a leave of absence?! He was a rising star but even he is disenchanted with Phillips 66 and the money is not enough to retain him. That or he was forced out. Who takes a leave of absence at that level?
Why is everyone in Kyle L’s Org a Vice President? That’s excessive.
.This past week, they conducted another round of layoffs, this time targeting VP’s and directors. It seems they are doing this in stages for some reason, trying to remain under the radar.
Is everyone at Wells Fargo an Executive Director. P4 no reports, Executive Director. P5 no reports, Executive Director. M2 with 12 reports Executive Director. P4 and P5 with no reports should be a VP
Writing on the wall for GVS and mid market reps RIP
More than 200 different job titles are impacted, according to the filing, including analysts, engineers and technicians, as well as directors and managers.
The cuts targeted nearly 210 senior- and director-level employees, plus seven employees with vice president or senior vice president titles. They include a senior VP of talent and four VP of legal affairs roles.

Remember how at GP long time employees had assigned parking spots? VPs even had a separate section on the ground floor. Then when we moved to EMHC it was announced that there would be no assigned parking for anyone even VPs. It sure wasn’t long before VPs once again had their own assigned spots but employees were never given assigned spots again.
Why are you guys surprised? All along I projected the stock to be in the 50s.
What is next? Fiserv is no longer a fintech company, it is a company with a bunch of accountants and top-heavy with VPs and SVPs. All its IP 🧐 assets are contractors. No one would invest in an accounting firm. Clover? It’s only 8% of the market and going down.
Infinite? Simply an agent, facilitating, accounting cover-up to beautify quarterly earnings.
Sad but this company is dead without its full time IP committed to Fiserv. Mike can’t do anything, Frank left him with long term contracts with third parties and many Frank’s kool-aid guys still around. Stock to $40 .
It will take Mike about another 2 years to know IP is a must to the survival of this company.
I know A Patel is gone. V Wali gone too? Rat is cleaning up all former Anil's leaders. Whats going on?
Has anyone heard rumors about which VPs are going to get cut? If so, that will give hints about what corporate teams are in danger.
Sounds like she was forced to “retire” by March per that email. Anyone know any details? Do share.
Out of 14 VPs left, we have 2 maybe 3 decent leaders left at the VP level in GT.
Others are highly toxic, backstabbing, have no vision, will sacrifice their team to make themselves look good, lack technical, product, or design competency.
Make no mistake that sooner or later all of the above will impact all of us even if you are in the space that is isolated from it right now or are able to talk you way out of it (at least for now).
Number of people dying from bad management decisions. Both companies have deaths associated with managers ignoring senior technical personnel and violating company and industry safety standards. VP of drilling never drilled a well. VP of completions never completed a well. What could possibly go wrong with this logic? Hire more VPs and fire more engineers. Bankrupt the company using the CEO's playbook that has been finely tuned to make executive management rich. Life is karma. You can't keep this up forever.
Does anyone know where submissions of the ideas form actually go? Do they go to your supervisor, AD, Director, VP, SVP, EVP? Straight to dans email (not slack)? Just wondering if anyone’s in the know on this and knows if it will actually be taken seriously or if it’s just for show.
The disproportionate presence of Indian leaders hiring and promoting mostly Indian H1-B candidates speaking their language into SVP and other VP roles in Tampa raises concerns about favoritism and closed networks. When leadership pipelines lack balance - opportunities for other equally qualified professionals are very limited.
Alan F is exiting BNY,he’s been with the firm for 18 years, when veterans leave it is always a bad signal..I sense something big is in store for 2026!
It seemed like our VP got to keep their good old boy system while really talented people got asked to leave. I think it’s always been that way but it was hard to hide this time with people let go who were dependable.
