What's happening with HPE? One week something is fine, the next week it’s not allowed anymore. We only find out after the fact when someone flags it. For the past year I've felt like I'm always one step behind something we weren't even notified changed. How are we supposed to work like this?

Too much talking
We spend a lot of time discussing what needs to be done. Then we discuss it again. And again. Meanwhile, the actual work barely moves. When did we turn into a company where every single thing has to be discussed into oblivion before anything can be done?
Why is is so hard to admit something isn't working?
There are things that clearly aren’t working, but no one says it directly. Instead, we just keep adjusting around them. It feels like everyone sees it, but no one wants to be the one to call it out. So it just continues. Because that's so much better and productive than actually fixing the issue, right?
Q for mgrs
Managers, were you actually blindsided or is that just the line?
Why is best of belk so secretive?
Does anyone know why best of belk is so hush hush.??
Listening? Reading?
I wonder how many in leadership positions read these topics and comments? Maybe they ignore it all as just annoying noise.
Uplift(ing) news
RYAM held a company wide meeting on Wednesday April 15th titled “RYAM Uplift” with goal of uplifting employees hearts and minds. The meeting quickly jumped off the rails when it was clear that leadership had no plans on actually taking questions via the provided Slido app. Employees grew concerned over the poor leadership under former CEO DeLyle Bloomquist who was outwardly hostile to employees on numerous occasions. Questions around the third in a string of fires at RYAM largest facility in Jesup, GA was a hot topic as it impacted spending coming out of their annual outage. Overall sentiment among employees is that leadership is out of touch with employees at the plant levels.
HCSC
From Preauth... what are you all hearing? We are being ignored and we have no clue whats coming. Give us a heads up please. 13 years..
First Quarter All hands
Email regarding Dans 1st quarter meeting 4/28. Hopefully some useful information. I’m not betting on it!
No one at Aero Olathe can see Friday’s 4/17 payslip
Going into HR direct and ADP link, there’s no payslip posted for tomorrow’s 4-17-26 pay period. I sure hope everyone gets paid.
Is there much point anymore?
Once this was a company employees would be proud of working for but now it’s just a shadow of its former self.
We career from one RIF to the next whilst being told by disingenuous leaders that AI will take care of everything.
Work from the office, no work from home as you won’t have an office. Use google, no Microsoft…no Google etc etc.
There is a total lack of honesty or transparency from leaders. They are all running scared and frantically trying to get on the “relevance” lifeboat. Forget “women and children first”…these guys are cowards only interested in covering their own backs and surviving.
No strategy, no communication, just chaos.
Departments that have Checked Out
I’m sure there are numerous, but the 360 app team is a total mystery to me. No one responds to emails or messages. It’s impossible to get any answers to XDA or FMP. I am starting to think none of them know the programs and aren’t able to answer questions.
Apr 15 meetings?
What are the “critical employee meetings” scheduled for apr 15.? Chat and call channels will have periods of unavailability
SpaceX in the wireless spectrum battle.
TMO already partners with SpaceX. Not sure how ATT will respond but I’m certain VZ will once again fail, as they did with the iPhone years ago. Leaders will tell us it’s nothing to worry about and use word salad and elaborate slide decks to propagandize their message. Some will clap and take photos in a red chair while writing on a post it note. The rest of us will patiently wait for our impending severance.

When will we receive the Fedex label to send back the equipments?
In email or mail?
Connect Question
In all seriousness, do we have a ballpark on when the update will be released about September onwards for the Connect Weeks schedule? Thanks!
Communication issues
Anyone else dealing with a manager who treats information like it’s classified? Getting even the simplest thing feels like pulling teeth. At this point, I’m losing more time chasing answers than actually doing the work.
Recognition from a manager
What's going on with mangers suddenly no longer providing any recognition even when you do extra work that's not even yours? My boss sent a "thumbs up" emoji on a Slack message last Thursday, and that's the closest I've gotten to a thank you since last year.
Notice period reduced? 60 days to 30 days
Hearing rumors that the notice period has been reduced from 60 days to 30 days. No official update from Aramco on this however. Can anyone confirm? Has there been an official communication? Does it apply to all expats/Grade codes?
If this reflects a change to contract, doesn't this need to be communicated?
Why do they now overuse
The word FULL STOP! You can not make your point any other way FULL STOP. Blah blah FULL STOP. Do you use an ! after that too? FULL STOP
Nobody is listening
Let’s face it - senior management have their own agenda, and what staff actually want or need rarely makes the cut, especially if it costs money. Clients don’t want to hear they’ve bought into something that isn’t working, and somewhere along the line, feedback just stops going up the chain. I think it's at my line manager, who's also given up.
Feels like most of us end up posting here just to check we’re not the only ones seeing it this way. The company is too big. It will continue to lumber on quietly shedding staff until there's nobody left. It could take a while!
Cancelled one on ones
My manager cancelled our last two one on ones with no reason. Today I realized my manager cancelled the entire series. With the impending layoffs, should I be concerned I’m on the list?
Reflections on leaving target…
I resigned two months ago for a new opportunity and I was really nervous about how it would feel to leave Target. Losing “opportunity”, the chance to work on things at Target scale, the benefits of Target’s brand on my resume.
Honestly, all of those concerns faded a few days in to my new position. Not because my new job is just like Target, but because I didn’t realize how poor the leadership truly is at Target until I worked with people who get along with one another and understand the goal of their work.
People have been welcoming and collaborative. I haven’t been stonewalled in a turf war. Communication is simple and clear. I get what we’re doing and so does everyone else.
The compensation is also par and so is my opportunity.
If you feel like target isn’t firing on all cylinders for you, leave. There are jobs out there.
Notice
I am getting ready to give my notice because of the new WPE changes. But now I’m hearing they are not going to happen. Does anyone have reliable information?
DXC Execs are lying barstwerds
The UK's largest police force has awarded DXC Technology a contract worth up to £1 billion to develop and run a host of business process outsourcing services – including building a new Oracle ERP system.
The management said UK was doing not so good so no no payrises, and then a few days later they announce a $1.4 billion deal.
My boss told me that China is the future and I should worship their prowess. I guarantee he doesn’t know the word prowess.
He barely reads at a 5th grade level.
Meeting dates moved
Anyone else notified of their all hands meeting getting pushed out?
Workday RTO tracker is back and changed
It’s updated and now shows me as non compliant. They clearly changed the expectations. I’m surprised there isn’t any communication on this from the company.
Xerox your paying for a directors puppet
There are ongoing concerns about a Southeast team member acting beyond their assigned responsibilities. Multiple customers have reported unprofessional communication, which is negatively affecting client relationships.
Additionally, decisions being made appear to prioritize short-term margin improvements at the expense of customer satisfaction. This is creating unnecessary friction and could impact long-term retention.
It would be helpful to clarify roles, responsibilities, and communication expectations to ensure a consistent and professional experience for clients.
Honeywell aerospace.us
How’s it going in migration land. Honestly I am loving that virtually all communication has ground to a halt. My managers are milking every minute of “good luck my laptop is bricked so call on my cell phone”.
I cannot see any way this ends other than aero being separate companies in everything but name. For sure I don’t go out of my way to look up people and the plausible denial factor is through the roof.
Bassett
I just looked up my information in teams. My business address is now listed as “Bassett”. There is no town near me with this name or that has a UHC building. Does anyone know what this means? I am a remote worker currently. Thanks in advance.
QUIT!!!!
I don’t usually post stuff like this, but I wish someone had been honest with me before I joined, so here it is.
The culture here is honestly rough. There’s a lot of talk about “teamwork” and “growth,” but day to day it just feels disorganized and reactive. Communication is all over the place, expectations change constantly, and somehow everything is always urgent. It gets exhausting fast. Backstabbing is very common.
The bigger issue, though, is the pay. For the workload and stress level, it’s just not worth it. People are stretched thin, doing way more than what they were hired for, and the compensation doesn’t come close to matching that. Raises and recognition feel random at best.
Anyway, I’ve decided to move on. If you’re considering joining, just make sure you ask the right questions and really think about what you’re signing up for.
What's with being stingy with info?
Some people treat information like it’s their personal property. If you need anything, you have to go through them, and they decide how much you get and when. It creates unnecessary bottlenecks in day-to-day work and just slows everything down.
I don’t want to escalate this, but at some point I might have to, because it’s starting to make me look bad for no reason.
Alpharetta
Heard from a sales manager today Alpharetta is closing
If you could snap your fingers and improve one aspect of your job, other than pay, what would it be and why?
I'm just curious what people's biggest issues are.
What is everyone hearing about WPE changes
I’ve heard the 4/1 change is on hold, but they are monitoring/reporting and will come out with changes to address ‘bad’ behavior like coffee badging. What is everyone else hearing? I find it so strange we were communicated a change and then nothing else.
For IT people
Just saw this on Wells Fargo's board, it's coming our way too:

Agentic engineering as a standard
Link: @OP+1kmzq8d4nWe all knew that something like this will surface sooner or later. Now all engineers are expected to go full agentic starting right this second ( according to the communication). They even drafted a roadmap of how they envision this would take place. What are your thoughts about this move? I guess, this is mainly will affect technology but looks like some businesses will be included in this madness as well.

A load of Kwap
Did anyone else notice in the Kwapcast how they're already starting to soften the language about RTO?
It was indicated that the reason they didn't go for a 3 day RTO is because they felt like they'd only be able to get people to do 1 and it was suggested that by going for a 5 day RTO, they'll be able to get people to do 3.
Hold the line, ladies and gentlemen. I think Bill D's nonsense will blow over.
