Bi-weekly meetings
Our manager has recently initiated bi-weekly meetings with all employees. The team already has regular meetings, and it is an open team where the manager is universally liked. I have noticed the team seems to be getting punished for not being able to do all things all the time due to other teams regulatory failings which are universally creating work for everyone adjacent; any ideas what might be going on as a guess? Could the company, wrongly as usual, be targeting our team?
Want to bet the vast majority of cuts will come from among us?
Senior management will remain untouched, as usual. For every executive who keeps their job, dozens of us will have to go. They'll go by the numbers to make their selections, which means the better you are, and therefore the more you're paid, the higher your chances of being cut. This company is slowly cannibalizing itself to pay for grandiose decisions that never made business sense.
The never ending cuts
I've lost count of how many layoff rounds I've seen. They just keep coming. There's no finish line, no moment where they say okay we're done. It's constant. The cuts keep coming and we're just supposed to be okay with it? We're supposed to keep on working like everything's fine? How did we get here?
We can fire people over discretionary pips but not inappropriate behavior…..
I would like to raise concerns regarding workplace culture and accountability, particularly related to an East Coast office. There have been ongoing reports from employees expressing discomfort with certain interactions and behaviors involving male colleagues.
Additionally, there is a perception among some staff that complaints about inappropriate comments or conduct toward female employees have not been consistently addressed. This has created concern about whether employees feel safe and supported when raising workplace issues.
There have also been broader concerns raised about leadership response and whether appropriate steps are being taken when complaints are reported. When employees take the step to bring forward concerns, it is important that they feel those concerns are taken seriously and reviewed objectively.
I believe it would be beneficial for leadership and HR to review these concerns to ensure that workplace standards, professionalism, and accountability are being upheld across all offices.
Leaders need to be in office as consistently as the employees they force to be there to protect their employees if you aren’t going to address the behavior. Get out of meetings and offices and start doing your job!
Next week's layoffs
Was that confirmed?
Global SEC folks
What are the global SEC folks working on now? Or are they even working? People in that org are being laid off during every wave.

2026 JE Calendar Dates
Anyone know if the JE calendar was updated for the rest of the year? I heard there was something in April? If IT is really moving toward a 70/30 HIH/US split, it seems like there will be quite a few more JEs coming up. Low key hoping I get the axe 😬
FT: And now the end is near
Phone skills have been transferring back to FT. Website calls will move back on 03/23/2026. That leaves Retirement and Shareholder calls at FIS. After the filing deadline of 04/15/2026, those calls should move over, that date is not confirmed yet. How will that be announced? Will the remaining employees be given the date ahead of time or will the axe fall suddenly? Have no illusions, plan accordingly.
Could layoffs turn out to be worse than we expect?
I've been doom scrolling and reading all articles on Oracle and LE - and there are MANY right now - and I'm starting to worry that we're not being told everything and when cuts start, it's going to be much worse than we expect. LE is trying to do too many things at once and we might be the ones having to pay the price of it.
I hate this place
I hate the fact that even a record-breaking game launch can't save us from layoffs. What does it take, then? What the fu-k does it take not to get shown the door?
Centene Stock Is going Down!
Stock is almost below $38. Piece of cr-p.
Disclosure of Non-Compete Agreements
Does Truist have blanket non-compete agreements with other companies that impact teammates job mobility? Is this info posted anywhere internally?
Is the 30:70 - U.S:HIH split real?
I saw some comments about how there is a push from leadership to restructure teams into a 30:70 - U.S.:HIH split.
I wanted to see if multiple people can verify this.
I know HIH is growing and they’re cutting US FTE but how true is the 30:70 split? If it’s true, then that’s all of us finished in the US
Embarrassing
This whole place is embarrassing to be part of. Top to bottom.
Is Adobe a safe employer?
I got an offer, but I'm a bit scared to leave my current job even for better money because, what happens if layoffs start and I'm one of the newest hires? I'm just wondering how often do layoffs happen and if I'm among the last to have joined, how much danger would I be in?
Are we having more layoffs or not?
With so many contradicting stories, I have no idea what to think anymore.
Ent Tech layoffs
At least 4 director level employees in FAE let go as of today. One-and-done cut or are they going to drag it out over the week?
Remote layoffs
If I am a grade 16 remote based employee should I be concerned about eventual layoff? Not a people leader.
I just had a dream
My laptop turned off and lost all access instantly. This is getting crazy.
Any word on who may be affected?
There’s a lot of rumors, and we are all worried. If anyone has information, please share.
New commission structure
Not feeling that great about the new commission structure. It feels like it’s set to cap at the new at risk. It will be nearly impossible to make the same as if there were still multipliers.
The US lost near 100k jobs in Feb
chat are we cooked??
Thread about GTS getting deleted
I am noticing that threads about certain GTS leaders getting deleted. Just for asking if they are leaving or not.
I do not see threads getting deleted for any other leaders.
CRP???
When??
Imagination Tech about to go under
This potentially makes arm a monopoly, and with Softbank blocking career mobility to Graphcore, things could get very constrained for engineers in the UK
Execs Leaving
Any word on other higher executives getting let go and how much will that impact the people under them really? Will whole teams be impacted?
Manager acting strange - what's up ?
My manager isn't engaging with the team at present, I pinged the other day and not even an acknowledgement
Not joining daily calls etc
Are there changes coming ?
Exploration
So, exploration will be gone entirely ? Even the VP is done. Is this the right move?
Block Layoffs Impact Square Restaurant Division, Users Uneasy
Block, Square's parent company, announced 40% workforce layoffs. Square's food and beverage division experienced significant staff reductions. Its head, Ming-Tai Huh, and many colleagues were among those let go. Restaurants using Square POS systems are now concerned about service changes.
