I am very curious how a company like Dell, where layoffs happen almost every Monday, even survive for so long?! How do we support our products and quality?

Safe for now...
I was told the ISP is done for my department so I'm safe. But makes me wonder for how long. I just started at Centene in April after being laid off from another company. I'm so burnt out. I'm acting happy and taking on extra work but my morale is gone. I don't know how much I can handle the lack of ceos caring about their employees.
WARN Act Applicability
I haven't seen anyone cite the Federal WARN Act in their posts or responses; with this being a layoff of more than 50 people, would the WARN Act not apply in this situation? If so, they would need to provide 60 days notice, or at least the equivalent in pay/severance. At least that's what I thought. Is my understanding incorrect?
🔥 OMNICELL: WHERE EVERYONE IS A VP… AND SOMEONE STILL HAS TO DO THE WORK
Seriously, how many VPs does one company need?
At Omnicell, the org chart sometimes feels less like a lean healthcare technology company and more like a VP convention with an occasional product roadmap thrown in.
You have to wonder:
👉 What does everyone actually do all day?
👉 How many “strategic alignment” meetings or “workshops” can one organization possibly have?
👉 And how many VPs does it take to schedule another meeting with the other VPs?
Then there are titles that make you stop and wonder whether the role exists because the company genuinely needs it—or because somebody needed another box on the organizational chart.
And yes… VP of Internal Communications.
That one might actually be justified. Someone has to spend all day figuring out how to turn:
“We’re eliminating your position”
into
“We’re strategically realigning our workforce to unlock future opportunities.” 😂
Maybe the real innovation at Omnicell isn’t automation.
It’s automating the creation of executive titles.
How many VPs are too many?
Asking for the shareholders. 👀

PP sighting off campus over weekend
I’m a former Jones associate who was laid off through a VSP. I was at West County Mall Saturday with a friend who also used to work for Jones, but left long before the current nonsense. After we parted ways, she stopped at Michael’s and ran into Penny, then shared it in our group chat.
My first thought? Damn, I wish I’d gone with her. I would’ve loved the opportunity to introduce myself as one of the many associates she helped send packing over the past few years. 😂 Especially since she seems to have perfected the art of disappearing into her “secret garden” on the 10th floor of the West Tower and rarely showing her face around campus.
Missed opportunity, I suppose. 😂

“Accountability”
Who knew that accountability really meant managing things HORRIBLY for a couple of years and then applying reactive management and tossing human beings out of the back of the plane they could never fly or land? Their plan going forward? Buy AI pre-built tools and outsource everything to automation. These guys are totally clueless how to run a company.
Why are people investing in the stock at all? They’re easily the worst band of do-nothings I’ve EVER seen in my 20+ years of working in enterprise companies. If the analysts and investors could peek behind the curtain they would be horrified!
