That's going to be VZ's full time employee headcount within 2 years. That's a fact!

Do you all really believe the turnstyle cameras are for automation? LOL
They are for evidence. time stamp video evidence. fire with cause when timesheet has 8 hours but video shows 6 on site. All to avoid severance. doomed.
Alleged upcoming Underwriting layoffs
I was informed off record by a manager within Allstate that "big changes" were right around the corner in Underwriting. Basically a large amount of layoffs will be occurring in Underwriting. Anyone else caught wind of this and if so are there any details to share?
Projected cuts?
Any grumblings about more cuts or people leaving?
Decisions are being made strategically or just reactively?
Management keep shuffling people around, employees and contractors were let go but it looks like once the Y28 administration comes in, the cycle will start again everyone brought back, teams bloated, and the same loop repeating.
Severance Question: 1 month vs. 2 weeks per year of service
I was looking through my new employee paperwork from when I started at Wells many moons ago, and at that time the company policy was 1 month of severance for every year of service. Sometime in 2017, the policy apparently changed to just 2 weeks per year.
My questions are: Can the company legally change a severance policy like that? Did employees have to sign something acknowledging the change?
I vaguely remember seeing something about this in the OWBPA or on Teamworks before I was laid off. I’m especially wondering whether older, long-tenured employees have any recourse.
Please only weigh in if you actually know the answer or have relevant experience. The snarky remarks are getting old. Thanks!
Anotherlayoff
When is Another Verizon layoff hits in 2026?
November 2026 Layoffs
What’s your estimate of how likely it is that we’ll have layoffs in November??? I know that nobody is certain, curious to hear what people are thinking.
September Layoffs
All the major banks are going to do massive layoffs in September. Many citizens will be impacted. You all must protest!
The CEOs lack morality and they like to eat from the plates of hardworking Americans! and they love to see them go homeless. Some of the CEOs in this country are not even Americans!. They don't give a damn for any of you.
The current government is incapable of protecting citizens. Many jobs will go overseas and many Americans will be replaced by immigrants here in the country. So sad!
This is Layoff.com
Why are so many “leaders” sharing their business lessons here? No Nike leader is listening. Let’s get back to what this forum is actually for. If anyone has real intel on layoffs, reorgs or what’s coming, speak up
Meridian Mafia...you're next!
Too many directors while an entire department was wiped out. Directors all on vacation while the remaining staff are all lost on their duties. All before AEP, guess that is not a priority anymore for them since Kellie protects them.... 9/4 can not come sooner.

JPMorgan Reduces Jersey City Workforce
JPMorgan Chase has announced an additional 63 job cuts at its Jersey City office. This latest reduction brings the total number of layoffs at this location to 541 for the year. The company cited ongoing efforts to align staffing with business requirements as the reason for these actions. Artificial intelligence is reportedly contributing to staff reductions in certain departments. These cuts are part of a recurring pattern of workforce adjustments at the Jersey City site throughout 2026.

RIF still in progress?
Is the RIF ongoing or have they finished?
Layoffs are back on
In full force layoffs are back on. Starting with the people who work the hardest to be loyal to their job
LAYOFFS IN HOMELENDING
I hear chatter of layoffs coming to HL. September is right around the corner and it typically happens before Employee Appreciation week.
September layoffs
We know we still have like 26000 people to layoff before the year is over according to Jane’s press release
What departments and locations are being impacted?
Qlik folks — what should Coupa expect
Now that Mike Lipps is running Coupa, I’m curious what former/current Qlik employees can share about his operating style there.
How did he approach layoffs, reorganizations, replacing C-level executives, acquisitions/integration, and cost cutting? Was he generally a “steady the ship” CEO, or did he make pretty significant changes when he came in?
I’m particularly interested in what actually happened on the ground versus the official company messaging.
Any August Layoffs?
Has anyone heard of any layoffs in august so far?
Time to have a conversation
Is it time to have a conversation on who was a worse CHRO? RM or MG? Entire organization is falling apart while looking head on to more layoffs.
Finally, I got my PIP today
Finally, I got my first PIP today. Even that I was doing lot of work and in my opinion I was top performer finally my manager decided that I deserved a PIP... Crazy company... I guess, all the posts saying RAs in September are gonna be true...
Shell as a career
Dear Shell employees, please l will like to get some advice from current and former Shell employees. Shell has been my dream company to work for and l am thinking of pursuing a career with Shell. Please any advice whether it’s a good choice based on the constant layoffs l have been hearing from this site?
20% Terminated
When Clearlake took over they fired a total of 20% of all employees at D&B.
Disney Offers Early Retirement to Executives
The company is providing voluntary early retirement packages to eligible executives as part of broader cost-cutting initiatives. This program aims to offer enhanced benefits to employees who meet specific age and service criteria. The offer is a time-limited opportunity for U.S.-based employees at director through EVP levels. This move follows previous layoff rounds and signals continued efforts to reshape the organization. Disney is focusing investments on content, technology, and experiences for future growth.

How many Houston GoA middle managers laid off?
Any office middle management from Gulf of America teams laid off? There’s significant amount of middle management in need of being discarded to face the real world.
The G Problem
What has Gunjan done since making cries about inequality, racism, not having a seat at the table, and how the C suite is full of the good old boys club to get to where she is? Nothing but major cuts, more unqualified offshore hiring, bad business practices and decisions, achieved nothing meaningful, and worst performance then her previous predecessors. It is sad to watch the downfall of US Bank.
2027
If you think the layoffs in 2026 are bad, wait until the bloodbath coming in 2027.
Any one knows when hts going to happen?
At this point, its literally mental abuse. How I am supposed to work if I don’t know what I am doing is even relevant if I get laid off. This is so frustrating
Did we just have layoffs?
Did I miss something?
Tuesday is usually the layoff day
From what I can remember, layoffs almost always start on Tuesday, so I'm going to assume it's going to be the same this time. I don't buy this "layoffs are canceled" talk, we all know it's going to happen.
Would you rather...
It be your boss that's laid off, or you yourself
Who cares
We post so much about the micromanaging the layoffs , those people don’t care. More money for them.
Ryan Reynolds just bashed Simplicity
I just saw an ad with Ryan Reynolds bashing our not so simple Simplicity Plan, and then offering Mint Mobile for $15 for 3 months.
I feel like it's going to be a carrier di-k measuring contest at this point and we'll all just go back and forth with cheap plans, perks, layoffs, repeat.
We'll just recycle everything over and over again, pretending like it's all so revolutionary of an idea 😵💫🤮
Layoffs canceled again what’s going on
So apparently the August layoffs are completely canceled again.
At this point, does anyone actually know what’s going on at Oracle?
For weeks we’ve been hearing about another major round of cuts coming in August, managers supposedly making lists, double-digit reductions on some teams, 6 a.m. emails, cuts before September 1, etc. People have basically been sitting around waiting to find out whether they still have a job.
And now… nothing? Canceled again?
The constant back-and-forth is getting ridiculous. One week everyone is convinced a huge RIF is imminent, then the date moves, then rumors start again, and now supposedly August is off entirely.
Has anyone heard anything credible internally about what changed? Are the layoffs actually canceled, just postponed into September, or is nobody—including management—really sure what the plan is anymore?
Would especially like to hear from Oracle employees/managers who have gotten an actual update rather than another round of Blind rumors.
It gets better
I was laid off this year and I snagged a better job that's more money and remote. I also canceled all my policies and went elsewhere for big savings.
It gets better, plan now and walk away. If i can do it so can you. Usaa is dead, let it die.
Any further information regarding Home & Community layoffs with losing Humana?
Seems like no one has any official word on what restructure will look like, how many can expect to be cut, when it may be announced vs when it will take effect. Any word from the “rumor mill?” Seems to be all we have. I’m a CC in a heavy Humana state.
3 GSCs
Could someone from management please let us know what the plans are for the three GSCs? At this point, we don't care anymore lol, we just want some clarity on whether layoffs are coming and, if so, when so we can prepare accordingly.
