What’s the chance LE, Safra Catz, Clay and Mike might be named eventually in a SEC lawsuit for fraud and materially falsifying information to investors over its debt capacity? I think it’s pretty likely. Especially if they sell Cerner.

If so, what groups have been hit so far?

Someone on here said something about usage of ai is going to be a performance metric for 2026 for everyone. Like how does this work? Anyone know yet? I did hear someone on my team today mention this but doesn’t know details.

Remember how at GP long time employees had assigned parking spots? VPs even had a separate section on the ground floor. Then when we moved to EMHC it was announced that there would be no assigned parking for anyone even VPs. It sure wasn’t long before VPs once again had their own assigned spots but employees were never given assigned spots again.

Looks like a hiring spree with all purchase and B2B with visas. When will ford start hiring locals ? Can this ever stop?

Impacted employee. Easily they can eliminate H1b full timer and contract employees instead of doing this layoffs. How can they file H1b and green card when layoffs are happening ?

What does a CAO do? What does your BL’s CAO do? What are their responsibilities and are they really needed at the bank? I feel like it’s another inflated title for someone without a real role. What am I missing?

Also heard that they are looking for volunteers. Bit confused.
If I express interest, then I am exposing my intent to the management which can easily put me in a PIP or find other reasons and kick me out.
If I keep quiet also it may happen but then I missed my chance of volunteering (and may be saving someone who needs the job). I am done with this org and have something else. But I do not want to lose my one-year of potential severance. That is a lot to leave it on the table

Is there any truth to the rumors of “voluntary” layoffs? With the recent decimation of market cap, that would be no surprise.

Personally, I think MicroFocus was already ruined financially before the acquisition, while OpenText has suffered taking on massive debt and legacy baggage that has stalled any momentum we had previously with Cloud and Cybersecurity.

I am just trying to understand what positivity anyone still has towards their job or this company after the constant hits to morale.

DXC lost the account I was on (in North America (being deliberately vague)) and now I'm on the bench after many years on this account. I've been told they will look for a new placement but I'm not sure how long that will take and if they will find one. How long can I be expected to be in this situation? They are not telling me much. What usually happens from here? Is there anything I can be doing (aside from training, etc). Thanks!

I posted a question on Exxon’s thread asking for input on their forced ranking that we’re adopting. I think I frightened them all into hiding. 50 some views and crickets but their side has so much more traffic than ours. that’s an indication of the culture Wael has adopted. Command, Control, Destroy, then retire with a golden parachute. I’m feeling closer to peers of other companies than I am to supporting our LT. Fu-k Wael. Fu-k anyone above a JG1.

Just copying my comment from a buried thread into its own thread to draw attention. I think we should all be aware Wael wants Exxon culture. I work with 3 former Exxon people and they all have shockingly similar stories despite working across the US. Dark days are coming.

So, why is cutting people first a yearly action plan for long-term growth and profitability?
After five years of people first cuts, might it be time to rethink this strategy. How about people-second?
