N&T QA - RTO question

Bad news for RTO trolls on this site. Joe Russo just confirmed the RTO policy is "not a top down one size fits all" policy. He said he encourages everyone to talk to their managers to see what they need to do to be most effective in delivering business outcomes. He also hinted that more company real estate sales will continue.

Thoughts on RTO

How do you think this whole RTO debacle will go? Do you think it’s going to crash and burn and Fidelity will admit their mistakes and return to at least some WFH time? Or do you think they will force us to put up with the terrible conditions until enough people quit that will satisfy their reduced headcount need? I need to see a brighter side to all of this nonsense.

CFO Comments

There have been a lot of comments about the CFO and CHRO of Phillips recently. I wanted to start a thread to consolidate views on these two as I have recently interviewed with both and considering a senior role at Phillips 66.

Can you help me by laying out your concerns as there are some pretty significant accusations on this board about both of them.

What should I be aware of as I would be working closely with both of them.

The company is providing voluntary early retirement packages to eligible executives as part of broader cost-cutting initiatives. This program aims to offer enhanced benefits to employees who meet specific age and service criteria. The offer is a time-limited opportunity for U.S.-based employees at director through EVP levels. This move follows previous layoff rounds and signals continued efforts to reshape the organization. Disney is focusing investments on content, technology, and experiences for future growth.

CEO Fabian Gerlinghaus stated the company needs to "resize" following this development. The exact number of affected employees and the identity of the departed customer remain undisclosed. This reduction aims to refocus resources on Cellares' ongoing clinical and commercial programs. The company maintains that its technology is proven and its fundamentals remain strong.
