Title says enough. Company is in the death grip of the CEO/Chairman of the Board/Supreme Leader, Dave Schaeffer. He runs the board how he see's fit which is how he managed to crater the stock price and still maintain control of the company. Everyone from CEO to sales managers just yells to work harder with no real direction or ideas of how to improve. Cogent is being sued left and right by both shareholders and shorted employees. This company is dead in 5 years, 3 if the current leadership stays.

Quarter Up Cuts Staff After Game Release
Game developer Quarter Up has reportedly made significant layoffs following the launch of its new title, Invincible VS. Estimates suggest that at least 75% of the company's workforce was affected by these job cuts. Former employees confirmed their departures, citing the weak commercial performance of the game as the likely reason. The studio appears to have retained only a minimal team to manage post-launch support and DLC. These reductions began in June and continued through July.

Love Medtronic!
Hello everyone! Hope you are all happy and healthy! I was part of the RIF that occurred last May and to say the least I am still a faithful employee .Over the past 25 years this company has helped me raise my kids, put food on my table and paid my bills on time . I have loved and hated my job but at the end of the day , still happy to have one. I have met some of the best people which in return made me a better person . You know who you are and I will always be forever thankful to U . What is there to complain about but only to be grateful..No job is perfect but if are still working for this company , consider yourself “Blessed’’. Farewell Medtronic and god bless you always! ❤️🙏
Novo Nordisk Faces Multiple Challenges
The pharmaceutical giant is embroiled in a legal dispute with rival Eli Lilly over weight-loss dr-g advertising. Simultaneously, a new safety warning regarding optic nerve stroke has been added to the prescribing information for its semaglutide-based dr-gs. These issues compound recent disappointing trial results and significant workforce reductions. The company is also facing regulatory scrutiny at a manufacturing facility in Indiana. Despite these headwinds, Novo Nordisk has partnered with Amazon Web Services to enhance its digital capabilities.

Severance from layoffs earlier this year, and how are you all doing?
What was the severance?
2 weeks of base pay per year?
Was it capped at 6 months, is the important question?
I see talk here and there but never truly confirmation.
How is everyone who was laid off?
Do you think there will be any voluntary or involuntary RIF with pay this year?
Layoffs this week?
What is everyone hearing
Scaredy cat
def Webster: an unduly fearful person
def Oxford: an informal, disapproving, and often childish word for a person who is easily frightened
def Dell: a middle manager
So what's next?
More never ending layoffs....?
More off-shoring, Philippine employees are paid like $3,200 a YEAR if that... Yes.
More strategy shifts...? One Insight? What's next? Two Insights? Three Insights? Four??
Sales comp changes <--- For sure like once a quarter
More Cisco Sales Rep Hires <== You bet ya - Buffy Duffy needs more buddies to watch his back, even announced in earnings after call - so much investment in front line sales
Whacking in the acquisitions <-- have yet to deliver the goods
A few disappearing acts from people around you unannounced - vanished!
What say you?
Thoughts?

The Destruction of USAA's Brand
I put years into USAA many years ago, before USAA even advertised on TV much less did any performative woke sh--. I was there in C when Bob Davis decided that parts of USAA and the people who work there are just disposable biomass. Much like the Indian contractors who vie for izzat points nobody outside the building cares about now.
Have had several friends and family members also come and go from USAA over the years. Short of the period Joe Robles was trying to repair the damage from the Herres/Davis years, everyone left the place never wanting to return or hear of it again (IOW, the typical USAA exit experience).
Overall, a large chunk of USAA membership is now fully aware they are getting subpar financial products, particularly with the bank. But of course also with dwell and auto. It's probably been 15 years now since I've heard a single veteran sing the company's praises. They're still with USAA only because of inertia and the chore of moving accounts away (a chore that's less of a chore now thanks to Plaid).
Then occasionally USAA does something to knock off a few procrastinators who take their business.
Let's take the ridiculous marketing and advertising of P&C this summer, specifically the laughable auto rates that the quotes system has been handing out. How many millions were poured into getting us all to laugh? Many LOLs were had by prospects sharing their USAA quotes on Instagram this season.
Like... GEICO writes motorcycle policies for $75 a bike on a FULL YEAR TERM, right now without UIM and $175 with UIM. USAA can't even underwrite that sector anymore (it used to, back when it also sold jewelry in the basement of the AB building LOL), pays PRO's fees and hands out a sh-t laughable quote 20 times higher. I sat with my sister (she has a perfect FICO 850 no claims) and got a $4,900 annual for a Nissan with 2k miles. Everyone else came under $3,000. The only way I could describe this behavior coming from USAA, and this is my opinion of course... but I'm confident I'm not alone with this opinion: USAA has finally devolved itself into a full-blown FTC-violating scam operation.
It's either that or there is some serious FCF problem at the company to be throwing quotes out multiples to the market, higher than Chubb.
I mean, I guess the new overpaid IBM Bob AI can figure out how to right the company since hundreds of leaders that have come/gone can't seem to figure it out. Perhaps its hopeless.
Remember: USAA was once a business that was growing with no advertising and it also built its HQ on Fred Road while it was never advertising. It had a culture. Which has been completely destroyed and is never coming back. The members were once so excited about the company and the culture, the business sold itself and members told others of its values for free.
Look at it now. USAA is a cesspit masquerading as finance.
Maybe USAA should go ahead and re-register itself into Virgin Islands shell husk like CIGNA did and free the HQ building and the land up. Nobody needs any of the products the company offers any longer.
at this point QCOM will be sold like a cheap h*****
companies previously 1/10 of QCOM now 2x or 10x QCOM marketcap.
Congrats CEO , management , etc
Outsourcing will always slowly ki-l companies long term.
New hires
So the company don’t wanna hire anyone let alone let people go on pto because no coverage? Make that make sense! And with all of these college students leaving how are they going to get things done!? Can someone help!?
TSR missing?
Anyone notice the TSRs are hidden until later this week? Who wants to bet the earlier promise of adjusting our salaries up if we were below the ranges goes away?
The way we work has changed… J. Legg
After careful consideration, extensive feedback, and realizing that nobody actually wants to commute five days a week, we’re pleased to announce that AT&T has decided to stop pretending 5x RTO makes any sense.
Effective immediately:
- Badge swipes are no longer a measure of productivity.
- Your commute is no longer considered part of your workday.
- Managers may once again manage people based on results.
- Teams may work remotely when the work can be done remotely.
- “Presence” reports will be repurposed for something useful.
- And most importantly, you are no longer required to sit in a building for eight hours to prove you have a job.
Thank you for your patience while we spent several billion dollars and a couple years figuring out what everyone already knew.
The way we work has changed. We should probably change with it.
Layoffs last Thursday
What other groups were affected last Thursday besides AP??
The Board of Directors
Wonder how many of Board of Directors who selected CK as CEO are still around today to see TODAY.
They made a Fully Informed Decision selecting him, and now it’s Déjà Vu. Wonder how much the stock will quiver. If it does, it’s flattery to CK.
Who is protecting the remote workers at ESG from 2019 to 2026?
I really wonder what kind of justifications they’re giving for these long-term remote staff. Are they actually that exceptional? Honestly, you can grow a great engineer from scratch in seven years. Laying off in-office workers while keeping remote ones feels like a deliberate move against company policy.
I am quoting the above words from another post.
As a long-timer at ESG, I have the same question! There are many remote workers based in Dublin, Ireland. Most of them report to the legacy VP and Security Response Director from Symantec.
Why are they protecting these remote workers?
Do we have core customers in Ireland?
Do they possess unique skills that make them irreplaceable?
Skills like programming, reverse engineering, or threat hunting/incident response are common in ESG. We have many engineers in other regions who also possess these skills. And, the VP and the Director have laid off many other office workers who possess those skills.
Back to the office…
So how long until all remote positions are gone now that SM is in charge?
Sales - Giving Notice (resigning)
Given the constant changing policies at FIS, does anybody know what happens when a sales person gives two weeks notice? Does your access get cut same day? Do they pay out the two weeks? No PTO to get paid out unless you live in certain states. If anybody knows, please share.

Was T-Mobile ever stable to begin with?
I joined in 2021 and lost my position 2025 due to a layoff. I came from State Farm. I regret leaving for more money. Has there been a point of time where T-Mobile was even stable. I'm embarrassed to even have this company name on my CV anymore.
The international environment is slowly declining
With mass layoffs in US, Italy, Poland, Slovenia, and elsewhere, the question arises whether the sinking Titanic will manage to stay afloat. All international operations are currently halted. Without vision and without progress... "Cu è surdu, orbu e taci, campa cent'anni 'n paci"
More people leavingllll
CenTeam,
After a career defined by remarkable leadership and an unwavering dedication to transforming healthcare in our country, Drew Asher has announced his intention to step down from the CFO position on December 31st and retire from Centene at the end of 2027. Drew has been an incredible CFO and a true partner to me in the leadership of this extraordinary company. He has also served as a mentor, friend and role model to countless members of the CenTeam.
As we look ahead, I’m excited to share that Chris Neczypor will join us in September and will become Centene’s next CFO on January 1st. Chris joins us from Lincoln Financial where he served as CFO and also led strategy and enterprise transformation. Beyond his robust financial experience, Chris embodies our One CenTeam culture. He is a collaborative leader who is deeply committed to helping us simplify healthcare and transform the health of the communities we serve. Native to the Philadelphia area, Chris is a die-hard Eagles fan who loves spending time with his family and three dogs.
Over the coming months, Chris, Drew and I will partner on a thoughtful transition, ensuring we are well prepared to step into Centene’s next chapter. We look forward to giving Chris a warm welcome when he begins with the company next month. In the meantime, I’d ask that you join me in thanking Drew for all he has done and will continue to do for Centene. I look forward to celebrating his remarkable career and legacy when he retires late next year.
So, is there a hiring freeze
Company wide, just Boston?
Can anyone confirm or is this just heresay and rumors?
Of so, why even move forward with interesting internal applicants?
Doesn’t that just alienate loyal employees?
Personality, I think all the bad policies of outsourcing, visas, dei, etc is coming home to roost.
You get what you vote for and I don’t see this fixing anytime soon.
I think this is it for what we know and expect in corporate America.
We’re all just cogs in an 8 billion human machine.
Drew Leaving
Sarah just sent a company email at that Drew Asher is leaving at the end of the year….anddddd discuss.
Drew is out

21shares Reduces Workforce Amid Crypto Market Strain
Crypto ETP provider 21shares has implemented staff reductions, impacting long-standing sales and marketing roles. The company cited a need to align its structure with strategic priorities as the reason for the layoffs. While the exact number of affected employees was not disclosed, a spokesperson confirmed the company is committed to supporting those impacted. This move occurs as the broader cryptocurrency market downturn continues to pressure ETP providers. 21shares stated it is still hiring in areas aligned with its long-term strategy.

What are some of the most unethical things humana has done?
Humana's most severe legal and ethical controversies involve systemic denial of patient care using flawed predictive algorithms and major Medicare fraud settlements. Critics and lawsuits target its utilization of automated tools to prematurely cut off necessary rehabilitation and nursing care for elderly patients, alongside multi-million dollar federal fraud recoveries.
Systematic Care Denials via Algorithms
- The nH Predict Tool: Humana faced major class-action lawsuits for using an algorithmic model called nH Predict (developed by NaviHealth) to systematically forecast and cut off coverage for post-acute rehabilitation and skilled nursing facility care.
- Impact on Patients: Lawsuits allege the algorithm superseded individual doctor evaluations, leading to wrongful, repetitive denials of medically necessary care for vulnerable seniors who were forced to pay out-of-pocket or forego treatment.
Medicare and Billing Fraud Settlements
- Part D Bid Fraud ($90 Million Settlement): Humana paid $90 million to resolve a landmark whistleblower lawsuit brought by a former actuary. The suit accused Humana of keeping two sets of books and submitting fraudulent, inflated bids to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) for prescription dr-g contracts from 2011 to 2017.
- Overcharging Federal Audits: Federal audits by the Office of Inspector General (OIG) have repeatedly caught Humana overcharging Medicare by tens to hundreds of millions of dollars through unsupported risk-adjustment diagnoses.
N&T q&a rebadging
They move N&T q&a call. The top question in slider is about rebadging. I don’t know when they planned it for
Drop your Drawers, Daddy is back!
The implication? $300M in restructuring is nowhere near enough. New restructuring plan headed your way stat!

Best energy company to work for?
Hypothetically if we started posting elsewhere, what would be the top 3 other companies you would want to work for? Asking for a friend.
How much revenue per employee is enough?
Sabre is making double the revenue per employee that Amadeus makes. $600k per employee for Sabre and $300k per employee for Amadeus.
Yet layoffs at Sabre still continue.
How much revenue per employee will be enough for Sabre to stop the layoffs?
Looks like the incoming layoff is taking forever
The company’s recent surge in share price has been driven primarily by the latest rumor that it is slated for acquisition—truly ironic.
we are BLESSED with full time RTO
just wanted to express gratitude for our opportunity to help people become confident investors and help clients (and ourselves!) achieve life’s possibilities
Insurance messed up
For recently laid off people.
Companies is working to fix.
They can't even do that routine and simple things right.
Because experienced people already gey laid off.
voluntary separation program email on 8/14/26
Is this email being sent to everyone in the U.S ? Or it was sent only to a specific group/class of people? I understand that some employees may want to keep this to themselves, if he/she received the email.
